Hope is finding someone worth living for. James was stuck in a ditch for most of his life. He never really knew where he was going with his skills.  James would sketch for hours but be disappointed by the drawings that came of it. This was the same with Keith. Keith could sing a song perfectly but turn around and say it was crap, just a little under perfection.

           One day Keith and James had the same idea of walking into a quiet little café. Just as James was going to walk out of the café Keith walked in and ran right into him. The hot coffee falling all over both of them. Keith apologized at once and began to help James with drying off his clothes. James let out a soft chuckle and declined his offer. Keith protested and said he must do something to make up for it, so he paid for another coffee for James. James thanked him and asked for his name. Keith replied with his name and smile as James gave up his. they smiled together and James asked Keith if he wanted to get a drink sometime. Keith accepted and said in reply "fine but you're letting me pay" James replied with "not in a million years." Keith asked "why?" James replied with "Because my Mom told me it was not very gentleman like to let the lady pay." Keith could feel his cheeks flush and James snickered at the sight. They couldn't feel the connection but after that moment they began to grow closer. James started to appreciate his drawings just a little more every time he thought about Keith saying how beautiful they were and Keith began to sing a little bit happier because he felt as though he was good enough because of the times he has sung a song in front of James and James roared and cheered like an audience of 100.

         Every time they were together they dreaded the moment they had to be a part. So one day James asked Keith to move in with him. Keith accepted with tears in his eyes. At last they could spend every moment together and experiencing new experiences together. A year after they moved in together James sat at the café where they first met with a black box in his hand just spinning it in his hand. He had drawn the ring himself and handed it to the designer a week ago. Keith walked in his phone in hand. As soon as he saw James he put the phone in his pocket, something else had taken his attention. Keith asked in a confused tone "Jam, what's that? I-in your hand?" James replied with a kneel to the ground and an open ring box extended towards Keith "the deed to you heart" Keith's hands went strait over his mouth at the sight of a beautiful silver ring lined with diamonds and two gems etched into hearts that swirled each other like Yin and Yang. James asked in a shaking voice "Keith, the love of my life, will you share the rest of your life with me by becoming my husband? Keith, will you marry me?" Keith fell to his knees in front of James. James was alarmed and dropped his once kneeling knee down to the ground. "Keith what's wrong?" Keith tackle hugged James while shouting "Yes!" they both laughed lightly as tears began to stream down James's delicate cheeks. Keith put his hands on James's cheeks and asked "what's wrong?" James replied "I was just so scared you would say no" Keith pulled himself close to James and said softly "I would have never of said no, not in a million years" They stayed close to each other and shared a tender kiss. Then James slipped the ring onto Keith's finger and they felt closer than they have ever felt before. The memories they had cherished became the beautiful setting of a wedding and the two shared the rest of their lives together rarely ever being separated. Once they were James and Keith but know they were James and Keith the ones who would never stop using their hearts as guides.
