Betrayal
Betrayal is a person's best friend stabbing them in the back as they walk away to be stabbed in the back themselves; the vicious cycle. This is how Jessie and Jenny's friendship has been since they entered high school. Jessie hung around with Jenny for the first semester during their freshman year but soon after Jessie found other friends. Jenny was alright with it, of course, but she saw less and less of Jessie as the year went on; even though, they had four classes together.
Soon their Sophomore year came around. Again this year the had four classes this year, in which one of the classes they could choose their own seats. When this specific class rolled around Jenny sat next to who she believed to be her dearest friend Jessie, but Jessie got up and moved seats. Jenny was heartbroken and sat in her seat curious on why she moved and angry because she didn't say one word to her about it. Jenny sat there in a daze the rest of the class period wondering what she did to make Jessie hate her.
At some point during the day Jenny ended up in lunch, she sat in the spot she sat last year and was thankful no one took it. She waited for Jessie to show up, ready to forgive her for what happened in one of their shared classes, but Jessie never came to the table. Instead Jessie was sitting with the "popular" girls of the school. Jenny's heart fell for the second time today, Jenny saw them point in her direction and laugh that snobby laugh they posses. She felt her heat break. The tears began to stream down her face as she realized her best friend just became her enemy. Jessie was Jenny's only friend and without her Jenny had no idea what to do.
The first semester was here and then gone, Jenny was being bullied by Jessie's new friends bringing up all the stuff she didn't like about herself that Jessie had told them about. Jenny walked through the halls dealing with the cards life dealt to her, she smiles anyway. Her newest friend Amy walked over to her and they walked by the "popular" girls, they had turned on their newest member Jessie. Jenny new she shouldn't have cared but she couldn't leave her former friend to the wolves. She walked over with Amy and told the girls off and they ran off obviously butt hurt. Jenny nodded her head and held out her hand to Jessie, Jessie was surprised but took her friends hand while a happy smile danced across her face. Jenny introduced Jessie to Amy and the three became a troublesome team for the popular girls but that was exactly how it was supposed to be. Life had finally worked out the wrinkles of the pages and made life easy for the three amigos. They all graduated two years later and started to work together and soon created a business and they have been inseparable since then, living out their lives as though it was a dream.
