[Some of you may be confused as to what an Omegaverse is, which will be explained on this page! Omegaverse defers per author, so this is how my Omegaverse works!]

In this Omegaverse, there are 2 types of gender. The (Male/Female) gender and the (Alpha/Beta/Omega) gender. At the age of 12, doctors will do an examination to classify people under these three roles.

Alpha

- Alphas tend to be male but there are female Alphas out there.

- Physically, they tend to be bigger. (Average height for males is 180cm and females 178cm)

- Disregarding whether the Alpha is female or male, an Alpha's body is full of Testerones.

- Female Alphas can not impregnate since they don't have a dick. The chances of getting a female Alpha pregnant is low.

- Male Alphas tend to have larger penises, basically, they are BIG people.

- Alphas are the strongest and are usually aggressive especially when it comes to their mates or when they are fighting over an Omega.

- Alphas are able to breed with all three types.

- An Alpha goes through heat, also known as 'rut' when affected by an Omega's Pheromones.

- Described as successful, attractive, and strong. A reason why Betas also prefer Alphas over Betas.

- Alphas usually have high-ranked jobs, is the superior working class.

Beta

- Boring people that have boring lives. (Average height for males is 175cm and females 169cm)

- They are able to breed with all three types but they tend to find a Beta mate.

- The majority of society are Betas.

- They don't go into heat, unlike Omegas.

- They don't have scent glands or a high sense of smell, thus rarely becoming an Omega/Alpha's mate.

- However, the pheromone that Omega's release may affect some Betas who have a better smell. They will not go into a rut like Alphas but will be tempted to mate with the Omega.

- To put it simply, think of Betas as us readers who are just normal people.

Omega

- Omegas are smaller and softer, often filling in the roles of caretakers. (Average height for males is 162cm and females 155cm)

- Omega males can not get pregnant (Unless it is a Yaoi universe but since it is not, they can't) but can impregnate a female Alpha though chances are low.

- They go through a heat cycle that happens every month and medication is usually used to suppress the pheromones they release. It is the time where they feel the horniest and is most fertile.

- Said to be the best match for Alphas because of their intense sex drive during heats that can satisfy the Alpha

- The majority of Omega couples are Omega/Alpha and not Omega/Beta. Omegas prefer someone that can satisfy them in bed, which Betas usually can't keep up with.

- Omegas are seen as cute, people often crowding around them to protect the little bean.

- They are usually jobless since their role is to nurture and raise pups. If one is lucky, they will meet an Omega in the working class but it is very unlikely because of the dangers and their biological roles.

Mating? Heat?

During an Omega's heat, they prefer to lock themselves up and create a nest of items that belong to their mate (if they have one). This time is when the Omega is most fertile and the smell they give off is to attract possible mates if one has not been marked. Also, it is the most dangerous time for Omegas if they don't take their medication and roam the streets—which results in many rape cases. Omegas usually use toys to subdue their heat. The hormones of an Omega during this time make any Alpha around crazy (In some cases some Betas but they are unlikely to be affected by the smell). Their bodies self lubricate, prepping for any penetration. However, in the case that an Omega is marked, their heats only affect their mates. To be marked, their mate has to bite into their scent glands on their neck and the mate's mark will stay on their skin. 'Knotting' is another term used, which is when the male's penis swells like a bulb when they are aroused, causes the male mate to lock themselves in the Omega's walls during sex to increase the chances of pregnancy. It is important to note that 'marking' is an important concept in the Omegaverse, very much like marriage but a life-long marriage. Once marked, the two will naturally develop deeper feelings for each other and yearn for each other's touch.

- Mating calls are unique sounds that an Omega makes to attract any available Alphas.

- Omegas tend to build a nest of items when in heat, a sign that they want to mate.

- To prevent from being unwantedly marked, Omegas wear a collar.

- Omega's heat usually lasts within 3-7 days but in some cases, it can last 9-18 days.

- Alphas that are affected by Omegas may fall into a rut, lasting from 5-10 days.

Knotting?

As mentioned, it is when a part of the male's penis swells, locking inside the walls of who they are having sex with. It increases the chance of pregnancy but this does not mean it is 100% locked inside. Some may have a small knot while others may have a larger knot. Pulling out while knotting can be painful depending on the size. If the penetrating partner wishes to pull out while having a knot, it must be noted that it can cause damage and pain to their mate.

Nest?

Omegas make a nest of things that are usually soft like clothes. They like to take items that remind themselves of their mates or even smell like their mates. During their heat, they feel most comfortable and safe in their nests. Omegas are like little birds during this time, very fragile and sensitive. It makes it better if their Alpha stays by their side as their smell makes them feel safe and comfortable—at most times, intercourse will happen to satisfy the Omega's needs.

Rut?

It is the Alpha's definition of their heat. Alphas tend to get into heat when they smell the sweet scent of an Omega's heat, becoming more aggressive and possessive. During their rut, Omegas might get hurt from the rough treatment. So, Alphas have to be careful during their ruts.

Mark?

Marking differs per role. It is a way to show others that they belong to someone else. This is usually done during knotting, the Alpha/Beta will bite onto the Beta/Omega. The bonding mark is legitimate if it draws blood. On the other hand 'Scent marking' is usually done by Betas/Omegas. To put it simply, they will wear their mate's clothes and rub their own scent on their mate.

Suppressant?

The suppressant is similar to birth control pills in our world. Alphas and Omegas tend to use it during their heat/rut periods but it can cause nausea and infertility if used outside this duration. Suppressants may not work for some heats/ruts, depending on how strong it is. Think of it like a female's period. When there are painful cramps, you'd want to take painkillers to get rid of it only during this time. Cramps vary in pain every month, just like the strength of one's heat/rut.

20% Alpha

70% Beta

10% Omega

(As you can see, Omegas are the rarest type which is why Alphas would fight over an Omega. Omega/Alpha couples are the best combination)
