I don't know when I got back to sleep but in the morning, I was woken up by a female servant or I thought she was a servant until I saw the armor she was wearing. She was one of the holy knights and it looked stunning on her. As sleepy as I was, I just blurred out my very thoughts without thinking about them at all. I just woke up after all. No one could expect from me to start thinking about what I just said or what I was doing. Give me another 10 minutes and then you can expect that from me.

"Stunning."

"Huh?"

"The armor looks good on you."

"Thanks and good morning Saintess."

"Morning."

She basically helped me get up and get ready. Not only that but she seemed nice. At some point Noel and Jasper came into the room after consulting with her and that was how I just got three holy nights in the room around me while I was sitting on the couch still yawning and thinking about a bit more rest.

"Still sleepy?"

"Mh."

"You shouldn't have stayed up late then."

"Jasper, I told you that it was our fault."

"And I know."

"Well of course you two idiots would fuck this up!"

Wow, that kinda surprised me coming from the female knight. I didn't expect her to start scolding them and then actually stop arguing and reflect or more like give up? I don't really know how I should describe this. It was definitely a weird feeling and it made me respect her too to be able to get these two under control. I knew from the dynamic between them that they were a bit of trouble makers together but on their own, I thought they would be quite capable knights. It was just that feeling of competitiveness and a bit of friendly joking around that I was getting from them which would make them a pair of trouble makers. Still fun to be around for sure.

"How did you sleep?"

"Good, what about you all?"

"I had a damn nightmare. I don't remember what it was all about but I woke up drenched in sweat this morning."

I felt guilty and looked down towards the ground the moment he said he had nightmares since that was definitely a result from bloodlust. Well I thought the knights would be alright since it was just a small amount and I had most of the control and hold back a lot. Still it seemed as if that was not enough at all. It still caused inconvenience and I was just sorry for that. However I didn't really know what to say at all. Should I say sorry or should I reveal what happened? I just didn't know because there was another person and even though she was acting friendly, I didn't know a thing about her. More importantly I didn't know if she was someone I could trust or not.

I really wanna say sorry....

But I can't...

So ahm... sorry...

I didn't want this to happen.

I was just kinda defending myself.

"I think I know what happened, Jasper."

"Really Noel?"

"Yes but it's not my position to tell you."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Both of you knock it off! You are not here to argue like in the dorms."

"Sorry."

"Sorry."

Now that this was settled, they started to focus on me and that was when we heard another knock at the door. This time Micheal came into the room with a card of food which normally servants would use. Somewhat this felt definitely weird and wrong since he was someone of a high ranking someday.

"Micheal!"

"Oh good morning Vivi. I see everyone is here already."

"Yes, your Eminence."

"Good, good. For starters, I brought our breakfast. Let's eat while we talk."

Everyone agreed to this and he was definitely not exaggerating when he said he had breakfast for everyone. The card was filled with quite a lot of food. Some bread, some jams, some ham and some scrambled eggs as well as boiled eggs. Everything one could wish for was on there. So there was definitely enough for everyone including the knights here.

"I am sorry I had to leave you behind yesterday, Vivi."

"It's fine.... And I am sorry too."

"For what?"

"I kinda caused a commotion yesterday."

"A commotion? What happened?"

"Ahm... Well I actually have to tell you something before this."

"Alright."

"I can shift into a dragon."

Now the cat was out of the bag. I was studying him of course to see how he reacted but there was hardly any reaction to it. For me it seemed as if he accepted that fact and just let it be. Somewhat it was surprising since the Underwoods shouldn't have this ability and yet here I was doing the impossible. Not as if my plan for changing the future were as possible as my soul possessing another's body which shouldn't even exist"

"A dragon as in a huge beast?"

It was now Jasper's turn to actually ask. Well Noel already knew about it from first hand experience yesterday which led me to the question of what happened to the girl that fainted because of me.

"Yes... Noel can tell you more about it."

"Wait, he KNOWS?!"

"Vivi, what happened yesterday while I was gone?"

"Well, nothing much but I kinda went to the garden yesterday in the night and someone found me there."

"How does Noel fit in this and why didn't you wake me? I was right next door."

"Well, I walked into Noel yesterday."

"Vivi, please take the guards, both of them with you next time you get out."

"I know... I learned it the hard way."

"Wait! DID YOU GET HURT?!"

As if Micheal was panicking out of concern he jumped out of his seat and stopped eating while coming over to my side to actually crouch in front of me and then look into my eyes. I don't know what he was doing right now but it looked as if he had to check things for himself.

"No... I just scared someone... and they fainted."

"Wait Noel fainted? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"It wasn't me idiot!"

"If not you... then who else?"

"Jasper, remember that girl that got newly appointed to being the right hand maid of the headmaster for the dorm system?"

"That blonde girl? I never liked her."

"Yes her. She found Viviana lying under the big sacred tree."

"It was sacred? I didn't know that!"

"Everything is sacred. By the way, did you see the glow in the night?"

"I did and it was beautiful."

When Micheal asked that, I replied naturally but they all stared at me when I did say that. Something about my answer was not right and I knew it the moment they all turned their heads towards me and just looked at me while stopping eating.

"You could see the glow?"

"Yes, is that bad?"

"No, only people with holy powers can see that."

"Oohhh...."

"Seems like you are indeed a Saint. No need for a fake title when you are one."

This was definitely not planned and just happened. How was I supposed to know that anyways? Besides, it was really beautiful to see everything glow under the moonlight. Truely amazing and peaceful.

It took them a couple of minutes before they continued to eat again and we continued our conversation. Now that they knew roughly what happened yesterday, it was now Micheals turn to tell his story.

"The king hastily summoned me and that fat rat over."

"For what reasons would he do that?"

"Reviving magic. It is a forbidden magic which would take a lot of sacrifices and the outcome would never be certain."

"But what will he revive when there is nothing but ashes."

"How do you know that?"

The gasp coming from Jasper and Noel was really something else. I mean it was a valid question the female knight right next to me asked but besides me no one should know about this. Oh well Micheal would probably know but I just went ahead and blurred that one out too.

"I was there when it happened at the magic tower."

"What exactly happened?"

"Micheal? Can I tell them?"

"Sure. I trust these three people with my life."

"Alright, soo... the crown prince attacked the magic tower and the magic tower fought back and I was there as well... the tower master than decided to burn the crown prince down...I don't know the details of what happened but I know that he is just nothing but ashes. I doubt anyone has the remains."

"Which is why we got called."

"Huh?"

"Reviving magic doesn't only mean reviving the body but also the soul. What the king wanted was to bring back the soul of his son back into another body."

"Is that even possible?"

"Kinda but that is another story besides it is a forbidden art since most of the time the thing that comes back is not a human being."

"I don't get it."

"Vivi, what do you think demons are?"

"I don't know...."

"Demons are what the church created as a result of trying to save a whole village. It didn't work and the curse that we created started to spread infecting more and more people turning them into what we call demonic beings. They are mindless humans that have evolved....It is a fact no one besides the church knows..."

"This is why there are holy knight divisions which are solely based to eliminate them but our powers are not as strong as the dukes."

"Jasper is right. We don't only serve to protect the duke but to aid in his mission to help people.... Well that is what we are supposed to do but thanks to the crown we are working in the dark..."

"It sucks."

"Jasmin, we do what we can do."

"It still sucks."
