"Let's get back to the table." Em's tummy growls in hunger, "I'm starving." 

"I'll be there in a minute," you giggle. "I really have to go." 

Em laughs as she leaves the restroom, quickly returning to the table.

After using the restroom, you check your reflection in the mirror while washing your hands and decide your makeup looks fine. After drying your hands, you rapidly run them through your hair as a make-do comb.

Coming out of the ladies' restroom, you see Ki come out of the men's room. 'Has he been crying?' 

"Ki, are you alright?"

He feels you need to know why he has been acting a certain way around you. He has caught whispers from the group that they think he may be crushing on you, but that is far from the case. He tells you about his sister and her battle with Muscular Dystrophy. He received the dreaded call that no one ever wants to hear, 'she was dying'. His little sister, Ranne passed away at the age of 16 while he was on his way to see her, and he never got to say goodbye. You are so much like her that it hurts. Thoughts of her when with you have been causing his mind to be distracted from work.

"I'm so sorry Lanne. I just miss her so much." His eyes filled by tears finally spill over.

Your heart hurts for his loss and your throat is choked with emotions that speech isn't possible.

He struggles to pull himself together. "This is not the place for me to breakdown." he wipes at the escaping tears.

Embarrassed, he asks if he could hug you for just a minuet. Nodding you let him.

He is softly crying and saying under his breath, "Ranney I miss you so much." 

You stand there hugging him back and at this point  you know he is lost in his memories. Your heart fills with such sadness it is overwhelming, consuming your very soul. You don't understand it.

Yoongi watched Em come back to the table and start eating as food had arrived. He gets up and goes to where the restrooms are. As he is about to enter the men's room he hears you and Ki.

"I love you so much Ranne." Mishearing, Yoongi looks around the partition and sees you in Ki's arms. He doesn't know where the intense jealousy has come from but it begins to rage inside him. He shoves the bathroom door open and enters.

The overwhelming sadness is breaking your heart when Ki says, "I love you so much Ranne." He is resting his chin gently on the top of your head and places a small kiss.

 You want to stop his hurt. "Please don't cry Bubby."

Suddenly Ki steps back holding you at arms length, shock on his face.

"What did you just say!?" he lets go and swipes at his tears.

Confused at his sudden change in mood you answer. "I said please don't cry."

"No, what did you call me?"

"I called you Ki." Confusion is apparent on your face, "Are you alright?"

He drops to the little bench out side the restrooms behind the partician.

"You don't know what you said?"

"What are you talking about Ki? Of course I do, I said please don't cry."

His tears are gone as he looks at you, "You called me Bubby."

"What? No, why would I do that?"

He is starting to smile, his whole mood lifting. "My little sister Ranne use to call me Bubby."

The overwhelming sense of sadness has suddenly left you and you feel, for lack of a better word, happy. 'Why would I feel happy about Ki crying?'

Neither aware of the paranormal event that just occurred. Sitting there he is smiling happily when his eyes open wide and he looks to his left.

What he hears is a soft, "Bubby are you alright, now?" He smiles again and nods.

"What is it Ki?" You ask looking where he is not seeing anything.

He turns to face you, "It's nothing. I'm good now. Thank you so much Lanne." He stands and takes hold of your hand, "Lets go eat. I don't know about you but I'm starving." 

You laugh as you walk with him back to the table, finding it funny that Ki and Em told you the same thing.

Half way back to the table, Yoongi comes out of the mens room. It's quite so he peeks behind the partician expecting to find you and Ki in a lovers embrace.  Seeing no one is there he starts back to join the others and sees you and Ki hand in hand as you reach the table. He pulls out his cell and texts Namjoon that he is getting an Uber home and leaves the restaurant.

Ki sits back down at the table happy to dig into his food. He hasn't felt this good in a long time. Em looks over at you then back a Ki and then back at you. Slightly shaking your head she knows you will talk to her later.

Jimin leans close asking, "Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you." you give him a nonchalant smile.

Wondering where Yoongi is you ask Jimin, "Where's Yoongi?"

Namjoon speaks up, "Sorry guys, Yoongs just text me. He's heading home."

Em, eyes filled with concern, turns to Namjoon, "Is he alright?"

Namjoon uses his cute dimple smile to assure her, "He is fine. Probably just something to do with work." He tenderly pats her hand and then leaves his hand over hers. Em smiles and Namjoon slightly caresses the side of Em's hand with his thumb.

You smile, 'They are so cute.' I hope that . . .'  Your thought is interrupted by Jimin placing his hand beside yours letting his fingers slightly brush against your skin.

 You pull away using the guise of picking up your water glass for a drink. When you sit your glass down you place your hands folded together under your chin. Trying to appear interested in the conversations going on around the table.

Through the rest of lunch Jimin kept you to himself, monopolizing you in one sided flirtatious  conversation. 

The whole while your thoughts were of Yoongi.
