The final two weeks of the tour passed quickly, and you are headed home first class with Yoongi holding your hand. The others are waking up or putting away their phones. The plane is about to land. You look over a row and see Namjoon. His head is on Jin's shoulder, and you can tell by his shoulder movement that he is crying.

Today will be a hard day for him, but he has his members, and now he will have his sweetheart, Emily, to share the grief of their loss.

It's his first day back, and Emily and Ki will be waiting to drive him straight to the police station, where he will meet with the investigators and police.

You nudge Yoongi, and he sees what you see: Namjoon is crying. The plane has landed, and he quickly gets up and goes to Namjoon.

"I'm really sorry about your Kooki, but you're home now, and Emily is waiting for you. Come on, get your things, and let's go." He reaches out to help Namjoon stand.

Namjoon wipes his eyes, and Jin and Yoongi help him gather his things to disembark from the plane.

Taehyung, who was sitting right behind you and Yoongi, came to you with Tannie still asleep in his pet carrier. 

"Thank you, La, for taking care of Tannie for me. I can't express how happy I was to have him with me." He hands you the pet carrier carefully so as not to wake him.

With a sleeping Tannie, you prepare to leave the plane ahead of everyone else. Yoongi gives you a quick kiss before you go. He has to wait and disembark with the others. He knows once off the plane, you can't be together. 

The plan was for you to get through the airport first since no one would recognize you, especially now that you have colored your hair. Yoongi said you were sexy as a redhead; he loved it.

You and Tannie would be in the first vehicle, different from the others, and leave while the members, their bodyguards, and some staff grouped up and prepared to walk through the airport, with security creating an extra barrier for them.

Jungkook gets Namjoon's attention in the airport before the restrictive area's exit.

"Here, hyung, wear this? " Seeing how puffy and red his leader's eyes were, he handed Namjoon his bucket hat.

"Thanks, Koo." Namjoon puts on the hat and pulls it down to shield his eyes from onlookers.

Jungkook pulls his hoodie over his head to hide his eyes as well. It hurt seeing his hyung so heartbroken. He sniffs and wipes his nose before catching up with Jimin and Taehyung.

You make it through the airport none the wiser that you are with Bangtan. You leave the airport and get in the waiting car. Settling the pet carrier down and buckling yourself in, you look up front at the driver to let them know you are ready.

"KI! What are you doing here?" You unbuckle and lean between the seats to hug him. He hugs you back. You sit down, asking, " I thought you were driving Namjoon and Emily."

"I was, and welcome home, Lanne. " He grins at you and then pulls the car into airport traffic.

Tannie is awake and peeking out at you. You pet his little head and lean over to kiss his cute face. "Good morning Tan."

It didn't take you long to realize you were not going home. "Ki, where are we going to Tae's?"

"No, there is something Yoongi requested me to do after you left. We're going there first." 

You can see his smile in the rearview mirror. You ask again, "Where are we going?"

He is being cryptic as he says, "Just wait and see." 

So you sit back, petting Tannie, waiting to see what Ki is going to show you. Yoongi made plans with you for later, and you look forward to it.

Yoongi and Jin walk Namjoon to one of the black SUVs waiting outside the airport. Once Namjoon is in, Yoongi closes the door, and he and Jin get into another SUV.

Namjoon takes off the bucket hat and looks up. "Emily!" His heart races being back with you.

You break down in tears. Unable to speak. Still harboring guilt for the death of Kooki and heartbroken that your little crabs were killed as well by that crazy housekeeper.

Next thing you know, he pulls you into his arms, and you both cry. With all the others ready to go, the driver gets a text letting him know he can begin, and the SUVs leave in line. On the freeway, the SUV with you and Namjoon takes an exit to the police station, and the other SUVs keep going.

You and Namjoon enter hand in hand and talk to the police reception officer. He calls to let the officer investigating the housekeeper's crime know that you both have arrived. 

You have the apartments ready for Lanne and Emily's return. You left a surprise in Emily's apartment, hoping it would lift her spirits.

Renovation is done on the apartment your father had gotten for you. You text J Hope to meet you there. 

During the tour, you and J Hope have been in touch practically every free moment he has, sometimes to the annoyance of the others. But they understood that J Hope was in love, which also made them happy. The new relationship is growing, and you can't wait to be together again.

At the police station, you and Namjoon find out that the housekeeper has been killing pets in homes for over a year. They said she would make them sick with poison making it look like natural causes.

They already have your statement, and you wait while Namjoon gives his. Grief is temporarily replaced by anger. When done with the interview and statement, the officer lets you know that she has been charged with animal cruelty and is facing prison time. 

With a sense of relief that she can no longer harm animals you go with Namjoon as he driven back to his apartment. Along the way, you ask Namjoon if you could stop by your place first. The driver takes a detour to your apartment.

You find a note stuck to your bedroom door, and Namjoon asks, "What does it say?"

"It's a note from Yuna. She said there is a surprise in my room." You look up at Namjoon. "I wonder what it is."

"Well, open the door, sweetheart, and let's find out."

You open the door and enter, followed by Namjoon looking around your room.

"Hey, Emily, look at this."

You turn to the side of the room he is looking at—the side where your hermit crabs used to live.

The little light is still on, and you notice movement. Rushing to the habitat with Namjoon, you both stare in wonder. There are three little hermit crabs. One has Em painted on its shell, the other Joon, and the third has two hearts joined together.

"Would you look at that, Emily? It's our names." At that moment, the three little hermit crabs lined up close to the glass, and their shells read Joon 'hearts' Em.

Namjoon takes your hand and says, "It's true, I do 'heart' you." He kisses you and then asks, "Who did this? It was very sweet of them."

"Yuna did it. She said she was so sorry about my hermit crabs being killed. She bought these for us."

You hand Namjoon the note, and he reads it. "Wow, she did that for us? J Hope has found him one in a million love."

You tap your foot with your hands on your hip.

"Oh, uh, I mean, you know you are my sweetheart, my one in a million."

You grin at him and tip-toe up to kiss him."

"What are we going to do about Kooki? I'm sure the others miss him." With sad eyes, you watch for Namjoon's reaction.

He takes your hand, smiling, exposing his gorgeous dimples. "We are going to the beach tomorrow and will find us a new Kooki."

You forgot all about what you wanted to get from your apartment and readily follow him back out to the waiting car to go to his place. He holds your hand all the way out to the car and inside he asks, "Emily, will you stay with me?"

All you can do is nod. Not sure if there was any other place you wanted to go to before heading back to Namjoon's he asks, "Mr. Kim is there anywhere else you two would like to stop along the way?"

Smiling at you, Namjoon replies to the driver, "Only our place." You smile back and become lost in each others eyes.
