Personality|

Peter is a quiet, calm soul and not just because he is mute. Peter has never been a  very emotional or expressive child. He loves playing simple, old games like scrabble and monopoly instead of video games or going to the movies. He doesn't smile a lot and normally will keep his emotions to himself until his sister talks it out of him. The only thing that is different about Peter is his temper. It became an issue as a child when his parents tried to get him to talk or express himself more and weren't able to. Peter would have a violent outburst and hurt other kids which meant he had to be homeschooled. Peter is creative, funny, and gentle when people get to know him and understand how he works. He is emotional, sensitive, and protective of his sister. Some of his favorite things are - skateboarding, listening to music, learning new things, spending time with his sister, herbal tea, and playing board games.

Peter was born into a beautiful, happy family early. He wasn't expected to survive because he was so small and was born with a condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, which turns all his body fat into muscle - also making him three times stronger than average kids his age and extremely flexible. He was the youngest in the family, only having an older sister who took great care of him. Peter has never spoken a word in his life. Growing up parents would try and bribe him with toys and treats if he would speak, but he never did. Peter was born without vocal cords and is incapable of making sound with his mouth. His parents and sister started to teach him to sign language to communicate,  but Peter never really liked using his hands and would usually only point or use facial expressions.  

Peter's life was forever changed on August 17th. Peter's sister took him to spend time at the park since it was a calming, cloudy day. While on the playground he noticed a child on the other side of the playset that other kids were avoiding. Trying to make a friend Peter walked over to her and tried to introduce himself, holding out a hand to shake. When she turned around Peter realized his mistake. Her skin was sickly pale, eyes grey, and teeth rotting. He tried to run but fell over his own untied shoelaces, her small hands reached for him frantically, she was on the brink of starvation. He tried to scream, but nothing came out. Her hands gripped onto him trying to climb on top of him. The screams of the other children are what grabbed his sister's attention, sending her to help him. His eyes were full of fear as his sister grabbed him and yanked him away from the rotting girl, with a final reach her fingers sliced his skin across his side leaving deep gashes. Those four deep wounds on his left ribcage have scarred his skin and future.
