Personality|
Life before the tragedy, Elijah was the more sought after doctor in his state. He was beautiful, kind, dedicated, and pure-hearted. He found the good in everyone and tried everything he could to make you smile. He has always been the shy guy, the quiet one. Elijah gave rides to those are homeless on the street and open his home to those who need a place when its cold outside. He never made assumptions about people or believed in the bad heard about them. But when his life was changed, Elijah changed. 

The once open, a pure heart was now closed off from the world and frozen in time. Losing, or believing to lose his daughter, made him dark. Elijah was no longer focused on saving lives, but on taking them. He enjoyed killing zombies or trapping them and studying them. His views on life changed as well, better them than I. He wants to end the virus one way or another. Elijah was caught off guard when he fell for a girl, a zombie-ish girl frozen in transition. His purpose changed, from killing for himself to killing for his group. He became the one responsible for killing those who needed to die - zombies, traitors, or food. Though he is still quiet and kept to himself, Elijah will speak when necessary.  The only people he refuses to kill are children since they remind him of his daughter. For those who can get through his tough skin realize there is still a part of him that is caring, protective, and will look out for those he considers family.

History|
Elijah's life was like one of a twisted fairytale. Elijah soared through high school, college, and medical school with ease - skipping four grades in total throughout his life. He got the perfect job as a doctor and surgeon and had his own house and car at the age of nineteen. The only part of his life that wasn't planned for was his daughter. While is medical school Elijah slept with a classmate who ended up getting pregnant with his child. Although the mother of the child was not with him, he made sure to be involved in his daughter's life. Just before his daughters first birthday, Elijah got his first taste of the zombie apocalypse. After getting off work he went to pick up his daughter from the daycare center. The place was a mess. Tables and chairs flipped upside down, toys, and papers scattered across the place, and blood was everywhere. He searched the place, trying to find his innocent daughter. Among the bodies, he never found his little girl. The mother of his child held onto hope that she was still alive, but he thought it was easier to believe she was dead and move on. His daughter would be ten if she is still alive.

Elijah then changed - his personality, his life, his purpose. He was set on either destroying this virus or killing every zombie he could. He studied combat, killing, medical studies, and failed programs for cures. He took only what he needed and began to travel the world, killing as he went and searching for answers. His name was spread from refugee groups to revolutionists of the man who kills without remorse. During his search, he found a group that was different. The leaders were zombies but not full zombies. Intrigued he chose to join them and found himself quickly falling for the second in command. Now he works alongside them, fighting for their cause and following their orders. He kills when they need, he hunts when they need. Elijah is no longer that sweet, humble man he once was. So much has changed and it has changed him. 

Part of Elijah likes killing, though he won't admit it. From everything he has studied and everything, he has seen he no longer saves lives but takes them. He does it without remorse, some even think his heart is as dead as those he kills.
