METHODICAL - Unlike others who are quick to snap, Reign has enough control to think his plan out. He spends time calculating his attack and exploring all possible avenues before striking. This includes surveying, analyzing, figuring a plan, and then executing.

RUTHLESS - When Reign is hunting, for hunger or the kill, he is a ruthless predator. Thrilled by bloodlust and his natural instincts, he is skilled in showing no mercy and delivering misery. Skillfully trained by his ancient assassin mother and hired hitman of the vampires, he is a dangerous foe to have.

DEVOUTED - Depending on where his allegiance lies, Reign is as loyal as they come. He will fight until his death for what he believes in. He is not likely to betray anyone he swears loyalty to unless they use him or deceit him.

TEMPERED - The son of a weredragon and vampire would not be expected to be any different. With a blazing fire of his own and the bloodlust of a vampire, Reign has a snapping point that is quick to reach just like his parents.

POISED - Reign was truly raised by his father, gaining his gentleman nature. He was taught how to be proper and poised, as to be expected from the son of the oldest living vampire. He can be calm and level headed to a point.

RATIONAL - Likely one of the most prominent traits he gained from his mother, Reign is a rational person. Even though he loves chaos, he is composed enough to think of the possible future outcomes and what could result from it.

• Hibernation - when mortally harmed were-dragons can put themselves into a state of hibernation that allows them to recover when they would otherwise die.

Reign's childhood was somewhat unique. Born the son of the oldest living vampire and a weredragon - sister to the king of dragons - he was dealt a wild hand. While still within his mother's stomach, he was put into hibernation, forced by his father to protect her from being found during the slaughtering of weredragons. Hibernation slowed the development of Reign, taking longer for his mother to deliver as her body was put asleep and everything slowed. Once born he was absolutely adored by his parents, but kept secret from the outer world. His own father's fear of losing them drove him to keep them away.

At first this didn't bother Reign, following his father's wishes and mother's actions of sticking in hiding. As he grew older, Reign began to lose patience. With so many years passing, he didn't understand what the danger was of being out in the world. Unlike his mother who had a recognizable face to anyone over the age of 3,500, Reign wasn't known. He was known as the child of Raphael, but no one was aware of his connection to Lorna. After breaking out enough times, Raphael agreed to let his son come and go - even though he was not happy about it - since he could pass as a simple vampire.

One night, when arriving home late after a feeding in the town, Reign overheard the conversation of his mother and father. It was calm, a simple discussion instead of a heated passionate argument they were prone to having. Reign's parents were both passionate people with strong opinions, fighting was to be expected, but Reign never felt that it tarnished or weakened their relationship. In fact, they were the strongest pair Reign knew of. Fully expecting them to kill for each other, even if they refused to say I love you to one another. During this conversation, he heard discussion of a young weredragon. Reign assumed this was himself, but after ease dropping longer he heard of another. His cousin, son of Rhyths and Merikh.

Reign had to know for himself and travelled to the forbidden Erix Empire. At last, that's where he saw him. The young, red headed hybrid chained to the gates. Both were in shock to see another dragon, sensing it in each other just from a gaze. Over time Reign and Alaric got to know each other more, developing a strong bond of cousins. Reign had tried countless times to free Alaric but was unable to due to the iron chains, burning his flesh each time he tried to touch them. Reign has discussed the rise of weredragons with Alaric numerous times, it's a dream they both plan to see come true in due time.
