Like all others who passed over the doors into Nezaryn Manor, Adalaide had no idea how drastically her life was about to turn. Before the manor, Adalaide was born into a successful family. Her mother was apart of the committee and Adalaide had aspirations herself to join one day. One afternoon she received a letter invitation into the manor. Thinking it would be a great way to gain information on what went on behind the doors, Adalaide accepted and entered. Originally she had planned to play this little game and return to town to reveal what secrets went on at the top of the hill. Shortly after arriving, she came to reality on what really happened there. Adalaide was marked as the third generation creation and unable to return home. She has now tried to come to terms with her new reality, seemingly unbothered by the fact that she cannot leave. Deep down Adalaide hates what she has become, but accepts that there is no going back to what she was and is making the most of it.

ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

TRUTHFULL - Adalaide doesn't keep secrets often. She will tell others the truth if they wish, but isn't referred to as blunt because she does not come across as rude. She is one of the more caring individuals of Nezaryn manor, causing others to forget she has killed people in the past to get where she is.

COMFORTING - Adalaide was left the responsibility as a mentor due to her inviting character and ability to calm others, even against their will. Her friends enjoy her company because she is someone they can feel relaxed around. 

EMOTIONAL - With the ability to turn anyone to stone leaves Adalaide terrified of turning her lover into stone. This also causes her to crave the comfort of another desperately, often causing her to fall for others easily even if they are the last person she should be interested in.

RESERVED - Although very opinionated, Adalaide will often keep to herself. She observes from a distance, commonly unnoticed by others due to her silence. She will happily speak to those who approach, but stays back until they do.

ᴀʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇꜱ

Adalaide was turned into a Gorgon, out of SOULLESS SUCKER'S interets in the humans' belief of greek mythology and reading about the creature called Medusa. He felt that she was a beautiful woman so he made her more impossibly beautiful with the curse of turning others to stone. Has retracting talon fingernails and wears sunglasses 24/7 to prevent from turning people.

• Super Strength and Speed - Similar to all inhabitants, Adalaide is faster and stronger than any human. These are not unique abilities so they are 'standard' in supernatural sense.

• Enhanced Sight and Hearing - Adalaide can hear sounds as quiet as a person's heartbeat or a whisper. She is also able to see far distances at increased detail. 'Above standard' sight compared to other beings.

• Charm Speak - Seductive tongue that can manipulate and persuade even the strongest minds to do as she says. The individual knows what they are doing but cannot stop themselves from giving in, voicing how they do not want to do it but their body moving anyway.

• Poisonous Blood - Deadly to anyone who tastes her blood. Acts as a tranquilizer to those who touch it, unable to move the part of their body that comes in contact with it for several hours. Comes from the right side of her body.

• Captivating Beauty - Adalaide's curse also gifted her with unmatchable beauty, to be near her is to be attracted to her. Even those who are not interested in women cannot deny her beauty. Often referred to the most 'dangerously beautiful woman' in Nezaryn Manor.

ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇꜱꜱ

• Fire - Bright flames of fire and heat stun Adalaide, making it difficult for her to think straight and defend herself in fights. She often avoids bright flames and keeps her distance even from fireplaces.

• Hand-to-Hand Combat - Although she is gifted with the same speed and strength as others of the manor, she is not well trained. She can fight decently, but does not match up to others who are gifted or trained.
