WHAT IS IRONWOOD?
Ironwood is an original, fantasy/supernatural role-play by Artemis--. The role-play revolves around a supernatural world that is constantly at war. Faes, Elves, Demons, Humans, and Alchemists. Right now, a cold war wages in the shadows for its control. Elf fights human, human fights demon, demon fights fae, fae fights all. For the time being, it will not easily fall into the clutches of another army, but, with hordes of demons, lithe Elves, and an army of human Alchemists waiting in the wings, what is a cold war might become the War that Determines the Fate of Us All. Abilities | Illusion Manipulation - The power to manipulate and create illusions. Azar has the ability to make people see things that do not actually exist or manipulate what someone actually sees. Azar's preference is making multiple copies of himself to cause his target to become confused and hysterical in fear and confusion.

Telepathy - The ability to communicate, transfer information, or gain information without verbal communication. Azar is able to communicate with others through their minds without speaking a word or needing to be within their eye-sight. Azar tends to use this ability instead of communicating verbally with those who he speak with. Limitations - Azar is only able to preform this ability if he is able to see the target. Some targets with mind shields will be immune from this power. Those with differing strong, mental abilities will be more difficult for Azar to communicate with and will not be able to hold a connection with for as long

Pain Illusion - The ability to trick ones mind into they are experiencing a burning, body crippling pain, although this does not cause any harm to their body. The power leaves the victim defenseless and easily targeted. Azar will use this tactic to get information out of his victims.Limitations - Those with physic shields will be unaffected by this ability. Alike his other power the target must be in eye-sight of Azar for him to preform this ability. Taking so much focus to use this ability, Azar is unable to use his other abilities during the duration he is using his pain illusion. Azar is also at his most vulnerable for attack from others due to the amount of focus this requires. If hit or taken out of trance then the link will sever and the target will be able to function again.

Semi Immortality - The power not to age. Azar, with this ability, will never age and will stay young forever, never suffering the ravages of aging. Because of this ability, Azar is immune to abilities that affect aging. Azar is immune to human diseases that can affect his aging or body functions.Limitations - Azar is still vulnerable to mortal wounds or injuries. He is still able to experience pain and will take time to recover from these, but at a faster rate than mortals. Azar stopped aging at the age of 23.

Supernatural Combat - The power to have better fighting skills than naturally possible. Azar is skilled in both attack and defensive combat skills. This possesses all from speed, strength, precision, reflexes, technique, analysis, and control. Most are unable to understand what is happening, only he being able to comprehend one move to the next. Limitations - Azar is not immune to other attacks or damage. Azar only is able to keep these abilities through training and constant use of these physical abilities. Azar is weaker than those who are fully immortal with a higher range of speed and strength without the constant practice of the abilities.

History/Personality| Along with his sister, Azar was born in the darkest parts of Hell. A terrain too dark and vicious for even the most experience and skilled demons of hell. Azar never knew his parents by their demonic names, but father was known as Aridam and mother as Adina. Having his parents and Lucifer grow up together in Hell, being born he, along with his sister, became a shadow of Lucifer himself. Azar did not get to experience a pleasant, memory filled childhood. If he was to fail at a given task he would commonly be severely beaten and left to die.

Azar inherited an uncontrollable rage from birth, some say it was a side-effect of being born in the heart of Hell. He grew beside his sister idolizing Lucifer for his lack of sympathy for others and ruthless rein over his citizens. Training from his parents and Lucifer himself, especially on pain illusion being a loved power of Lucifer himself, Azar gained a quick understanding on his abilities and what limits they had. Azar went with his sister, being the youngest fighters in the wars of Ironwood. Normally with being so young they wouldn't have been considered as fighters. But with their natural, ruthless demonic nature it was no doubt for them to take part in the wars. They became poster-children to Lucifer. Neither having a care for mortality or mercy to their victims. Azar himself gained happiness from seeing others beg for mercy from the siblings on the blink of death. Azar gave no emotion to the death of his parents, to him they were just another corpse among the piles.

After the war Azar followed with his sister to be under the wing of Lucifer. Azar became a hitman for Lucifer. He would be sent to kill any enemies or wanted people of Lucifer. Always returning successful and covered in their blood.Azar also used his ability to torture any of Lucifer's enemies for information or purely out of his request. Azar brought suffering and mayhem onto thousands beside his sister. Having no care for who he killed no matter what age, life experience, or begs was loved by the king. Many fell in fear of the two children commonly seen at the side of the king. Azar became known by name to all Faes, elves, humans, and others to what him and his sister were capable without hesitation. Azar loved seeing what him and his sister could do when they combined their powers and how much more powerful/ruthless they were together. Although seen as the perfect children of Lucifer himself, he still suffered under the kings wrath for the times he failed. He would be separated from his sister on the other side of hell and kept in darkness from any other. His tortures would have shields to prevent any communication from him and keep him in the dark, causing him to slowly go insane. Azar did as he was told even in the darkest moments. Lucifer commonly used dark magic on him that would shatter his body from the inside out and slowly let is rebuild before pushing Azar to his limit, not caring if he went too far. Even when released, some of his insanity stayed with him. When left alone or kept out for too long Azar goes on a rampage, killing as many as he can. Hearing their screams and begs reminded him that he wasn't alone and was still alive. Azar is still a shadow of the king and only listens to his orders when spoken.

Even through constant exhibit of his commitment to the king, many think that he and his sibling gained the position through manipulation to the king and the king being fearful himself of what the kids could do together when powers combined if they turned against the king. Being matured and experienced through years of torture and training, Azar sees the King as a brother or child-hood friend, an equal to himself. Part of Azar knows that if his sister and himself put it on themselves to destroy Lucifer it would be possible, but from what he had done for them it wasn't up for discussion. Also, part of him felt that his sister say the king on a deeper level, his sister being the only person he had ever developed a wicked, dark love relationship with - he respected that.

Other| Side-effect from when he was spelled and tortured from Lucifer his skin carries black cracks like on glass when he uses his powers. (one from ear to mouth, one over each eye, across his forehead, and one along his neck - just like picture). His demon form also has pitch black eyes, which he commonly will show just for the fun of it, and he likes how they look. Lastly he does not bleed red blood, but black. Some say it's because of where he was born.
