He is the perfect image of a BlueRidge man to the Elders. He is respectful and walks with grace. He is strong, determined, and loyal to their pack till death. Lucius will always show respect to those above him and even those below him. He will remain respectful even when those seem to forget where they came from and how to act correctly. 
Lucius is a hard believer in customs and traditions, thinking that it shows respect to their ancestors and is the only way to live. He believes he was selected by the Elders for Calliope and that is what is to happen regardless to her own beliefs or wishes for the betterment of the pack.

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 ━━ Lucius was raised in the high belief that he should do everything in his power to bring respect to his family name as well as the pack. His father was strict on him to have this lifestyle, but it came naturally to him as well. His father was a warrior before home, head warrior of the last Alpha (Calliope's father) so it was only destined for him to be a warrior as well. Lucius was never considered for head warrior because he was instead dubbed the name 'future alpha mate of BlueRidge' from the young age of sixteen. He is highly respected because of this title and people seeing that he is worthy to be their alpha's mate. He is a strong warrior and will fight to death for his people.

𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 ━━ Father and mother are still in the pack. Both live a quite life now that his father is no longer a warrior, but are very prideful of their son.

When Calliope was marked, it didn't phase his opinion that he was the best for mate for her in the interest of the pack.
