Jabari was born into a large family, the oldest child of five children. His family was never rich or had it easy. His father worked multiple jobs in order to meet ends meet. It was common for Jabari to not see his father for multiple days. Their father would sleep on the bus between jobs, not coming home in between. His mother picked up small jobs near their home while she cared for Jabari's younger siblings. As he turned fourteen, his father was killed in a case of mistaken identity. As he watched his family begin to fall apart, Jabari knew he had to do something. It started with petty theft to grand theft auto, eventually being asked to do the unthinkable. He made his first kill when he was fifteen. Jabari soon realized he was able to disconnect himself from his work, not feeling remorse for the people that were affected by his acts. His work brought money to his family, but also danger. Jabari had to make the choice to disappear from his family's life - only sending checks in the mail to help them get by. 

Slowly, over the years, killing became more than a job. It became a sport. As his targets became more 'high status' the more difficult it became. They would be able to fight back to even had bodyguards, which brought a sort of adrenaline to Jabari he quickly became addicted to. Jabari became known by his alias name 'king of death' or simply 'king'. He fought off admitting his love to kill, until he simply couldn't anymore. The person or the reason didn't matter to him - a paycheck was a paycheck. Jabari was caught after one murder for hire job that had his younger brother as the target. It wasn't until his gun was against his head that he saw his face. Instead of running, he took those few minutes embracing his brother before the cops arrived. He was arrested on a murder for hire charge. Time went by, but his court date never came. Instead, a letter came. A letter with a deal promising riches and most importantly... the opportunity to kill.

Jabari is a kind-hearted man who has become consumed by a darkness inside him. He cares greatly for his family; they were the reasons he started all of this. He never intended to love his work, it was only meant to be a temporary thing, but once he watched the life drain from someone's eyes he was hooked. He would try to go back to normal life, but that rush always swirled in the back of his head - drawing him back to the kill. With every life he took, Jabari became a darker person. He gave little thought on how others would be affected by his actions. He purely thought of feeding the burning hunger inside of him. He has a bright, kind smile and loves to make people laugh. On first glance, people would never assume what he has done before. He seems like someone who would help an old lady cross the street. When a contract is presented to him, he doesn't care what the age, gender, social status, or occupation the person is. Though he is respectful, he is reserved and will commonly observe others instead of striking up conversation with them. He notices things other wouldn't. He studies who they are as a person and how they act. He truly is a knight in blood-soaked armor.
