"So baby pull me closer in the back seat of your rover, that I know you can't afford..."

"I can afford anything, Cherry Blossom." Jimin wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist from the back, resting his chin on his shoulder. His voice low and teasing, breathing him in.

Jungkook rolled his eyes playfully with a soft snort. "It's a song, hyung."

"So? Change it," Jimin demanded. "I'll pull you anywhere you want." He bit into his neck. The warmth of his breath, making the omega shiver lightly. "And I'll buy you every damn mattress in this world."

The omega blushed, fighting the heat creeping onto his cheeks as he laughed. "You're so shameless," he muttered as he bit back a laugh.

"You're my mate. Why would I be ashamed to show my love to you?" The alpha was so smooth when he wanted to be.

Jungkook shook his head with a smile. "I can't win you in a debate. So what do you want?" he asked, redirecting the conversation.

"Nothing..." Jimin sang. However, his tone betrayed him and his expression told him there was something in his mind.

"You've been pacing like a recently birthed cat since you got home." Jungkook scoffed, moving over to grab a bowl to put all the chopped onions inside. "Is it the Korean Times articles about us?"

The alpha exhaled. "Why don't you move in permanently? I don't like you going back and forth to your dorm," he said instead of answering directly.

The omega smiled at the alpha's complaining voice as he chopped vegetables for dinner. "It's close to my college."

"So?" The alpha pressed leaned against the counter, staring at him. "You spend most of the days here though."

"Yeah and I go there once in a while for our study sessions. Sometimes my friends stop by too." Jungkook turned around. "Besides, your dad paid for the entire duration of my course in advance. It'd be a waste if we don't use it."

"We can afford it."

"Doesn't mean we should waste it," Jungkook countered, tugging at Jimin's shirt gently. He knew his alpha could afford that but that didn't excuse wasting it. "Speak, alpha. Is it those articles?"

Jimin let out a defeated sigh. "I'm sorry that I wasn't careful enough. I know you aren't ready to go public yet but—"

"Who said I don't want to go public?" Jungkook intervened, seemingly surprising the alpha.

The alpha glanced at him. "You said you didn't wanna be in the tabloids."

"I did." Jungkook shrugged. "We weren't dating then. But now things are different."

"The other day..." Jimin drawled. A frown tugged at his lips. "Are you sure you're ready for this? They're already saying things."

Jungkook turned around and continued to work. "Can you get me some kimchi?" he asked gently as he continued to chop the veggies. "Hyung, things are only gonna get worse once they figure out I'm a regular omega. When the Samsung Campaign is out, either they all will be against me or I'll start this wave of mixed reactions no one can predict now. All this excitement and enthusiasm would drain away and I'll become the black mark in Samsung history. They will say I landed the campaign because I'm a whore."

A growl rippled from Jimin's chest. He grabbed Jungkook and turned him around. "Never say that word," he growled. "Ever." His eyes blazed red and Jungkook smiled.

"I'm not one, but I landed this campaign because of my hyung's connections. They wouldn't have seen me if not for him and wouldn't have offered this if they didn't know I have you and hyung to back me up," Jungkook explained. He put a hand to stop Jimin from responding immediately. "Even if I'm a purebred, there will always be people who will say bad things about me. I don't care about them. I only care about you."

Jimin kissed his palm and pulled him into a tight hug. "Get Gyeong on chat," his voice carried a thick growl. "I have something for her."

Jungkook pulled back with a curious tilt of his head. "Gyeong?"

The alpha pushed a strand of hair behind his ear. "You said she won't accept help for her mother. I've already arranged for the best team of doctors from the US for her treatment. As for money, she can use Korean Daily just like they're trying to use her."

Jungkook blinked once again. "Oh."

"Don't worry, Cherry Blossom. Your alpha got this." Jimin smiled a knowing smile and Jungkook knew he already had a plan.

Jungkook chuckled softly. "I'm not worried." His eyes softened with the love he felt for the alpha. "I have you."

And he knew Jimin would fight the world for him.
