Two days later, a guard came to retrieve Shin Na-Rae. However, this time Na-Rae didn't look as upset as she was before. In fact, she stopped being upset since the last time she was let out.

Na-Ra asked her multiple times about it but her sister had gone back to being mum and tested their patience with her silence after a severe outburst the other day.

"I'm the only one supporting you here, dammit!" Na-Ra had yelled but her sister didn't respond.

This time, however, before exiting the confinement cell, she turned to stare at Na-Ra. "You still have a chance," she said. "Leave when you still can." Then she glared at their mom. "We grew up together and you've always been the first person I came to. So I'll tell you this one thing. You have to choose a side, Na-Ra. My only advice is to choose yourself. If you choose to stick with this woman," she jabbed a finger in Myeong-suk's direction, "mark my words. She'll fucking drag you to the grave with her."

"What?" Myeong-suk growled. "It was just one innocent mistake! You don't have to treat me like a criminal for that."

Na-Rae growled back at her. "You, shut up!"

Na-Ra rushed to grab the bars. "Where are you going? You speak as if you're gonna leave. What happened the last time you left this cell? Who did you meet?"

"I'm leaving," Na-Rae confirmed. "I did what I had to do." She exhaled. "They cleared my charges because they found out I'm innocent."

"What did you do? What about us?" Na-Ra breathed heavily. "We had nothing to do with those drugs they found inside your apartment."

Na-Rae shrugged. "I don't understand the legal terms. See you on the other side, I guess." She smiled tightly. "Bye."

With a final wave, she left without another word.
