So before I was telling you about how I was going to Winter Jam and was so excited about it. Well... OH MY GOODNESS! It was so AWEmazing! I was thankfully able to bring my wonderful boyfriend along with me and my youth group, and let me tell you, if you're struggling with a relationship, take them to a concert like this! Being able to go together to a God related event really brought us closer together as a Christian couple! I'm not even kidding, we say I love you to each other every 5 minutes , and I can tell that he really means it. I thank God so much for him every day!

Anyways... Not only did going to the concert bring us closer, it brought me closer with God. Yeah, the concert was loud and there were a lot of people, but I still got a lot from it. Every day now I have been singing Christian songs from when I wake up in the morning to when I go to sleep at night, and I also feel like... I dunno. I just feel different, you know how it is, I hope anyway.

So my point in telling you all of this is...
Gathering with a group of believers and doing stuff like going to Christian band concerts, youth conventions, church camps, or even just watching a Christian movie with all of your believing friends... They are all major life changers. You get to meet knew people and have fun while doing what you love most, worshiping God. Every time my youth group gets back from doing these kinds of things, we always come back feeling so blessed, like the first day you let God into your life all over again.
So...if you ever have the chance to go to one of these events, do it! It will change your life for the better and will bring you closer to God and your friends. If your church doesn't go to these things, try talking to your youth leader or pastor about it. It is all worth it!
