Five days later, not much happened. Genos came by again, with a giant bag.

(Genos)"Can I live here?"

(Kaito)"Well, the apartment is kinda small, and-"

He threw some money on the table.

(Genos)"I'll pay the rent."

(Kaito)"You sleep in the bathroom from now on."

A little while later, Genos was drawing in a notebook. He drew a picture of Kaito and Doppio in the position they were in, with Doppio laying on Kaito's stomach, both of them reading manga.

(Kaito)"What's that drawing for?"

(Genos)"I'm writing a diary. I decided to write down everything you teach me, Teacher."

Doppio chuckled at the unintentional joke Genos made.

Then, the clock on the wall made a beeping sound, just as it hit 10 o'clock.

(Kaito)"Well, time for my daily patrol."

(Genos)"We're going on patrol today?"

(Doppio)"No, it's just going to be him, it's his thing."

(Genos)"Why is that?"

(Kaito)"Well, since you're an S-Class, and I'm an A-Class, I won't get the credit for any bad guys I beat. If I wanna become a Class-S Hero, I need to take on any situation I find alone, get what I'm saying?"

(Genos)"I think so."

(Kaito)"And when I become an S-Class, let's see who can become the number 1 first."

(Genos)"Alright, I'll try that!"

Kaito then got into his Hero Outfit, and began his patrol of City-Z. Although he doesn't need to, Kaito patrolled the city from 10, to 5 o'clock, every day, exept on weekends. On his patrol, he usually met with, and had a short conversation with one of his good friends, Mumen Rider.

Normally, high ranked Heroes didn't socialize at all with lower ranking ones, but Kaito had actually made friends with a few C and B-Class Heroes during his first year as a Hero himself. Mumen Rider was a bit of a mystery to him. He just seemed like some normal guy with a bike, but no matter what attacked the cities, if he was there, he would fight till the bitter end, no matter who it is.

Two days, and there was still no sign of any monsters or terrorist. It was a peaceful little city for a change. When he was about to go on his lunch break, he was almost hit by a Kunai.

(Kaito)"It's you again."

(Sonic)"Kaito...this time, I will finally kill-"

(Kaito)"Later, I'm going on lunch break, we can fight later."

He walked away.

(Sonic)"You really think...that you can run away from me?!"

He took out his sword, and ran towards Kaito. Just before he shoved his sword into his head, Kaito stopped, and the sword broke without him even touching it.

(I bet you know who did it.)

(Kaito)"Did you not hear me? Fine, I'll fight you right no-"

(???)"Hey!"

The two turned around, and saw one of the Class-C Heroes, Tanktop Tiger.

(Tanktop Tiger)"Tanktop Tiger enters the scene!"

There's a lot of tanktop themed Heroes in the Association.

(Kaito)"Tanktop Tiger? What are you doing here?"

(Tanktop Tiger)"You can stand back, Pink Patroller, I'll take care of this one!"

Kaito knew that Tiger was no match, but he also knew how stubborn he was, so he let him fight Sonic first. Before he could make a move, he got hit with an explosive Shuriken.

(Kaito)"You didn't kill him, did you?"

(Sonic)"I just put him to sleep. He got in the way, that's all."

Sonic made his creepy face again.

(Sonic)"Now...let's begin our fig-"

(Kaito)"Time to go to jail, I'm f*cking hungry!"
