The next day, Genos and Kaito went to a rocky wasteland for their first sparring session. Genos' arms were now black, most likely special accessories to increase his power.

(Kaito)"Now Genos, do you remember what the end goal for your training is?"

(Genos)"Yes, you want be to get a Stand of my own, like your...Victim of...Reality, was it?"

(Kaito)"Correct. I want you to get a Stand, like me and Victim of Reality, and Doppio with his Epitaph."

He went into his pink form.

(Kaito)"And one way that it can be done, is to put you into a situation where one can be be created. We're going to fight for real, so make sure that you don't hold back in the slightest. Because I sure as hell won't."

Without even moving, Kaito was now in front of the cyborg, and he punched him in the face. He was knocked back 8 feet, and as he stopped, he fired an energy blast at the Class-A Hero, who swatted it away.

Kaito then jumped around the battlefield, and brought his fist into the ground, causing several chunks of stone to come flying out of the ground. His right hand became larger, and he slapped each stone at the cyborg. He managed to blow up a few, but most of them hit their target, ripping his shirt, and cracking his face.

Genos put both his hands together, and fired a humongous energy blast at Kaito, creating a huge explosion.

(Genos)"That definitely did some damage to him."

(Kaito)"You focus on giant beams too much!"

Kaito walked out of the fire. His shirt was mostly burned, and there were a few burns on his face.

(Kaito)"Using your strongest attacks from the beginning will just get you killed! You should fight using hand-to-hand if you can. Then, when you're up close and personal with your opponent, blast 'em!"

He demonstrated by rushing at Genos, throwing a flurry of punches, while Genos blocked as many as he can, but a few hit him in the torso.

(Genos)"Take this!"

He found an opening, placed a hand on Kaito's stomach, and fired an energy beam straight through him. He was launched, and he laughed as he fell to the ground.

(Genos)"Teacher!"

He rushed towards Kaito, and inspected his wound. He didn't expect the beam to be THAT powerful.

(Genos)"Teacher, are you alright?!"

(Kaito)"Genos? What the actual f*ck are you doing?"

(Genos)"You're injured! We can't fight anymor-"

Kaito punched Genos in the face, knocking out one of his eyes.

(Kaito)"YOU CAN'T STOP FOR ANYTHING, GENOS! YOU CANNOT KILL ME, YOU CAN'T EVEN HURT ME! IF YOU MAKE THAT MISTAKE ONE MORE TIME, I WILL F*CKING KILL YOU!!!"

(Genos)"This is insane! He has a hole in his stomach, but he's still standing strong!"

Kaito enlarged his right hand, grabbed Genos, and  slammed him around the place. In order to escape, the cyborg blew a hole in Kaito's hand. He then body slammed Kaito deep into the ground, and several beams of energy erupted, before creating a large crater.

(Kaito)"NOW we're talking!"

About three hours went by. The wasteland was torn to Hell and back. Huge craters littered the battlefield, and a mountain in the distance was now a pile of stones. Kaito was now sitting on the ground, taking deep breaths.

Instead of tears, there were several, deep cracks on his body, blood oozing out of a few. He was missing three teeth, and the most noticable point of damage, was his missing left arm. He held it in his right hand.

For Genos, it was almost worse. Both of his eyes were now gone. He was missing his right arm, and one of his knees were broken.

(Genos)"Te-Teacher...I think we should stop...."

(Kaito)"Hmmm..."

He felt something moving around in his mouth, and he spat out another bloody, sharp tooth. It was embedded in the ground from the force.

(Kaito)"Although we didn't unlock your Stand yet, I got pretty good workout. We're done for the day."

He reattached his arm, and all the cracks disappeared. New teeth replaced the lost ones, and his skin returned to normal.

(Kaito)"Here, this'll fix you up."

Kaito placed a hand on Genos' chest, and he was in one piece again.

(Genos)"Huh?! How did you-"

(Kaito)"I'm hungry, let's go get something to eat!"

(Genos)"Uh...yeah, let's go."

He walked away as if the two man war didn't even happen.

(Genos)"This...this makes no sense. How is he so full of energy after our fight? Teacher...no matter how strong I become in the future, I'll NEVER, match your strength..."
