For the next few weeks, things were a bit quiet. There was a single monster, a collosal, mutant human who has the subject of a new muscle growth serum. He destroyed City-B, and heavily damaged City-D. Before any other Heroes could go after him, he was killed by Kaito.

A week after that, Kaito and Doppio enjoyed the peace and quiet. There was a slight mosquito problem, but Kaito put up his bug zapper...which was Victim of Reality vaporizing any mosquitoes that got 10 feet near the apartment.

The apartment was just big enough for two or three people, but they didn't mind. They were both on the floor, with Doppio laying on Kaito's stomach, reading a manga, while Kaito watched the news for any monsters or bad guys to deal with.

(News Reporter)"Breaking news! A large swarm of mosquitoes is currently headed towards City-Z! The emergency level is Demon! Everyone, stay in homes!"

With all the monsters, robots, and terrorist, the Hero Association created a system to determine how dangerous anyone, or anything is to humanity.

Wolf: Barely a threat to a small amount of people. C-Class, and B-Class, and probably normal civilians can take care of the problem.

Tiger: A threat to a large amount of people.

Demon: A threat to an entire city

Dragon: A threat to multiple cities.

God: A threat to Humanity itself.

(Doppio)"Hmm, that doesn't sound good."

(Kaito)"Yeah, I'll take care of the little bug problem. I'll be back in a few minutes."

He got into his Hero Outfit, and made his way to the mosquito swarm.

The entire city was quite. The ominous silence creeped Kaito out a little. After a few minutes of searching, he saw a large ball of mosquitoes in the air, and a strange boy missing a mechanical arm looked up at it.

(Kaito)"Huh? Who are you?"

(???)"You. Leave this area, it's not safe."

(Kaito)"Oh, you don't have to worry about me, I'm a Hero."

The mass of mosquitoes fell on them, and the cyborg held his remaining hand up.

(???)"Incinerate."

He fired a massive energy blast at the mosquitoes, vaporizing them.

(Kaito)"Woah! That was badass! I know a cyborg at the Hero Association, but he's not THAT strong!"

The young man was surprised that Kaito was able to survive one of his strongest attacks. His clothes were on fire in some places, but he didn't seem to acknowledge it.

(???)"Hohohohohoho~"

They looked up, and there was a red, mosquito girl.

She suddenly appeared behind the cyborg, and nearly cut him in two.

(Mosquito Girl)"Because I'm this strong now!"

He tried to punch her, but then his right eye was cut out, as well as both of his legs. The mosquito girl was about to go for the final blow, but then Kaito intervened.

She was reduced to a red smear on a nearby building.

(Kaito)"That takes care of that!"

He was about to leave, but the cyborg stopped him.

(Genos)"Wait! I'm a cyborg, I've been fighting for justice by myself! They call me Genos! What is your name?!"

(Kaito)"Kaito."

(Genos)"Kaito, please allow me to become your disciple!"

(Kaito)"...Uhhh."
