During the first monster attack, the son of an executive, and sponsor, was kidnapped. The Hero Association sent most of the S-Class, and a few A and B-Class Heroes to rescue him. The only ones who weren't there were Genos, Kaito, Bang, King, Watchdog Man, and Drive Knight.

Genos and Kaito had just gotten finished with 20 Tiger level monsters.

(Kaito)"You'd think we've killed them all, but with every 10 we kill, 100 more pop up!"

He threw a penguin monster into a ruined building.

(Genos)"Even with this new body, it's like they're getting stronger as well."

(Kaito)"I think that was the last of them for now. Maybe we can relax for the rest of the da-"

(???)"Hey!"

(Kaito)"MOTHERF*CKER!!! WHAT NOW??!"

In the middle of the road, a monster with shiny, pitch black skin, one eye, horns, and white pants pointed at the two Heroes.

(Eternal) Disaster Level: Dragon

(Genos)"Another monster?"

(Eternal)"Not just any monster! You may have mowed down all those normal monsters, but I, Eternal, won't be the same!"

(Kaito)"What? You gotta army or something?"

(Eternal)"Hehehe, funny you should ask."

He snapped his fingers, and dozens of monsters the same color as him came out of the shadows behind him.

(Kaito)"Oh...you do have an army."

(Eternal)"Now, attack!"

The strange monsters charge at Genos and Kaito. They cut though the smaller ones, and each one they killed exploded into a puddle the that black substance. The three-eyed ones were more of a threat, however. They even have Kaito a bit of trouble for once in this life. To end this, Kaito shoved both his fist into the ground, and each monster was dragged under, then the black liquid gushed out of the holes.

(Eternal)"Oh well, we can always make more of them anyway."

(Genos)"Hmm, he's blind in his left eye, so I'll focus my attacks there!"

Genos went for a kick to Eternal's left side, but the strange monsters blocked it, and threw the cyborg into some rubble.

(Eternal)"I can see out of both eyes, moron! And my left eye is my best one!"

Kaito appeared right in front of Eternal, and punched straight through his stomach.

(Kaito)"I'm getting tired, so just die already."

(Eternal)"...Hehe, too bad!"

He took Kaito's hand out of his stomach, and the hole regenerated.

(Eternal)"I CAN'T DIE!"

He dove into the black liquid, and a giant version of himself emerged with no legs, and he now had one eye, but with the X in it.

(Kaito)"This reminds me of one of those games Reo showed me for some reason!"

They fought for hours, not being able to permanently damage Eternal. He was able to hurt them, however. Genos was reduced to his torso, and cracks went up and down Kaito's body, and he was getting light-headed from the blood loss. Although he could heal himself, he was not in any way immortal.

(Eternal)"Hahaha! It's useless to fight me, Heroes! Me and the rest of the Association will cause destruction like this every day!"

(Kaito)"We...we'll see about that! Starlight Platinum Overdrive!"

He repeatedly punched Eternal's body, causing his torso to melt, and he fell onto an apartment complex.

(Eternal)"...Hehehe, I see. You have one, a very powerful one, I should say."

He returned to his smaller form.

(Eternal)"I'll let you live, I have to report to my boss, see ya later!"

He hopped into the black liquid. Kaito healed himself, and picked up the damaged cyborg.

(Kaito)"Genos, are you alright!?"

(Genos)"Y-Yes...Teacher..."

(Kaito)"Oh, thank God! Genos, I feel like things are going to be getting more difficult from now on."
