After the alien invasion, The Hero Association HQ was reconstructed.

Today, Doppio was patrolling City-Z for a change. He didn't need to, but he has been inactive for a few months. Not much happened, but he did kill this monster.

"How did he do it?" I hear you ask? Why, with the Victim's Crystal of course. It's a pink, heart-shaped jewel, about as small as quarter. While holding one, it will create a unique version of Victim of Reality, taking the key features of the holder. For Doppio, his VoR has his eyes, and, his Epitaph on its forehead. It cannot speak, but it is sentient. Also, it cannot alter reality, but has incredible strength and speed.

On his way back to the house, Doppio noticed that there was nobody else around. The buildings were empty, the parks were silent, there wasn't even any cars in the road. The only thing that seemed to exist, was a very bad smell, like a mixture of gasoline and rotten fruit.

After a few minutes, he spotted two Class-A Heroes, Spring Mustachio, and Golden Ball.

They were putting some unconscious people into a large ambulance, and they were both wearing gas mask. When they saw Doppio approaching, they seemed shocked.

(SM)"Stumbling Seer?! What are you doing here!?"

(Doppio)"I was just-"

Golden Ball put a gas mask on his face.

(GB)"That was close! The air around this part of City-Z is polluted, that's what happened to all these people!"

(Doppio)"Why? Is it a monster or something?"

(SP)"We don't know yet, but we've just been gathering everyone we come across. If we can't find the source of this bad air soon, the whole city will become uninhabitable!"

(???)"Just the way I like it..."

They all heard a voice from above. They looked up, and there was a black mist in the vague shape of a human. It had a single row of unmoving teeth, and its eyes had X's instead of pupils.

(SM)"A monster! So you're the one behind this mess?"

(TL)"Correct. You may call me, Toxic Love!"

Golden Ball took out his slingshot, and fired at the monster.

It went straight through the creature.

(TL)"Hehehe...weak."

It floated towards Golden Ball, and he started to feel dizzy. Whatever was affecting him, it was somehow getting through the gas mask.

(GB)"Wh-What's...happening...?"

(TL)"My marvelous, horrid stench can cause people to lose consciousness within seconds. Now die!"

One of its arms became less clear, and it dripped with an acidic, black liquid. It threw this sludge at him, but Spring Mustachio pushed him out of the way in time.

(SM)"You won't kill an A-Class that easily! Stumbling Seer, I feel that I may aquire your assistance."

(Doppio)"Uh, okay!"

Spring Mustachio took out a handkerchief from his shirt pocket, and it transformed into a rapier. No matter how many times he stabbed and slashed, Toxic Love easily reformed, it was as if he was fighting a ghost.

(TL)"Ha! That little toothpick won't work on me!"

It punched him in the face, and he fell to the ground unconscious.

(TL)"Just one more left. Thus is all too e-"

The monster stopped as he saw Doppio's VoR.

(TL)"Y-You have one too?"

(Doppio)"Wait...you can see that?"

(TL)"You were chosen too, weren't you!?"

(Doppio)"I don't know what you're talking about! What do you mean,'chosen'?"

(TL)"It doesn't matter, I have a mission, and I refuse to leave one person alive!"

(Toxic Love) Disaster Level: Tiger

To figure out a plan, Doppio ran away for a place to hide. As soon as the black mist was out of sight, one of the unconscious people...started to laugh. He was a homeless, old man, wearing a brown, dirty jacket, a red shirt underneath, torn jeans, muddy boots, and a red beanie.

(Razy)"Hehehe! Oh, Crazy Razy, this is the biggest discovery you made yet! That guy has one of those things like me. It doesn't matter how strong it is, my Toxic Love is untouchable! I remember how I got it like it was yesterday!"

Flashback

Razy just got done with his daily dumpster diving for food, managing to find a half-eaten sandwich, and a cup of coffee that was still warm. He happily ran to his home, which was in a garbage dump, got in his makeshift hammock, and ate the first thing he found in three days.

(Razy)"Ah, this is the life! No job to worry about, no taxes to pay, just me, and the joy that is freedom!"

He took a bite out of the sandwich.

(Razy)"And sure, it may be difficult to get food, but I've been living like this for 30 years!"

He then noticed a dark object in the sky. It was a black orb, with a single, blue eye.

(Razy)"What the heck is that? A crow or something?"

(Orb)"...You are worthy..."

(Razy)"Huh? Worthy of wha-"

The black orb phased into Razy's chest, and he went unconscious.

When he awoke, it was already night.

(Razy)"Uhh...what the f*ck happened?"

(???)"Beats me."

He saw a humanoid black mist, and he stumbled backwards in fear.

(Razy)"Wh-Wh-What the hell are you?! A ghost?!"

(???)"No...I don't think so."

Before he could ask anymore questions, a monster inside of a trash can showed up.

(Trash Man) Disaster Level: Wolf

(Trash Man)"I am Trash Man! I was created by a scientist who put toxic waste in his garbage by accident! Now all Humans will be thrown away like the trash they are!"

(Razy)"A monster! H-Help me, ghost dude!"

He hid behind the black mist.

(Trash Man)"What the heck is that thing?"

The mist solidified one his arms, and threw black sludge at the monster, and it melted in seconds.

(Razy)"You...you killed it already?"

(???)"Of course, if it killed you, I would die as well."

(Razy)"Wait...so you need me to survive?"

(???)"Guess so."

(Razy)"Well, guess that makes us business partners!"

Flashback End

After a while of thinking, Doppio had finally came up with an idea. He found a bucket, and a car. His VoR punched the car, causing it to leak gasoline into the bucket, just as Toxic Love caught up with him.

(Doppio)"Hey, follow me!"

He ran towards a nearby park.

(TL)"He's too fast for me, I'll need to borrow this for a minute."

He went into another car through the exhaust pipe, and it came to life, speeding towards the B-Class Hero.

Doppio poured the gasoline on a tree, and heard the car.

(TL)"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME!"

Toxic Love flew out of the car. Just as he was about to reach Doppio, he threw a lit lighter down, and the tree ignited, causing the mist to get sucked into the flames, ending his life.

(Doppio)"There's no doubt about it, that was a Stand. He could could see mine...I need to tell Kaito about this."

The air around City-Z returned to normal, and everyone was okay, exept for one man who somehow burned to death.
