After the destruction of the meteor, Kaito was now a S-Class Hero. For all new S-Class Heroes, they were allowed to have something made for them. He wanted two things, a new Hero name, and a new, bigger house.

The new house looked like a smaller version of the Hero Association HQ, as requested by Kaito. There were two bedrooms, one kitchen, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a dining room.

(Kaito)"My new Hero name is Last Stand."

(I was getting to that.)

(Kaito)"I wanted to say it first."

(Whatever, let's get on with the story.)

On this day, a giant octopus monster wearing a toga appeared in the middle of the residential area of City-Z.

Kaito killed it with more ease than he expected from such a giant monster.

Hours later, a massive wave hit the beach of City-J, and dozens of Sea Folk started to attack the civilians, with one being in the tentacle of another octopus.

Suddenly, the tentacle blew up. The one who did that, was an A-Class Hero, Stinger.

(Stinger)"I'm glad I ran into you guys, I was getting a little bored!"

At the Stand Cave

(Victim of Reality)"That's what Kaito named the new house. AND FINALLY! I GOT SOME LINES!"

(Sorry, dude. I nearly forgot about you.)

(Kaito)"So, I haven't met any other S-Class Heroes other than Bang yet, have you?"

He asked this to Genos, who was washing the dishes.

(Genos)"Not yet, I just know their names."

He used a vent in his palm to dry the plates before putting them into the cabinet.

(Kaito)"I looked at their profiles on the Hero Association website, and it made me wonder about how they got the job in the first place."

On his cellphone, he looked at a picture of a young man with a bat, a child with a lollipop, a man with a scar on his left eye, who seemed familiar to him for some reason, and a little girl with green hair.

(Genos)"It's true that some of them don't really look the part, but they must have-"

Both of their cellphones rang, and they were told by the Association that the Sea Folk were attacking City-J.

(Kaito)"You got the same call too?"

(Genos)"Yes, these, 'Sea Folk', sound dangerous."

(Kaito)"Alright, let's get going."

(I'll give Doppio his own chapter at some point.)

Stinger was bloody and bruised, but could still fight. He had already taken care of six of the fish behemoths, and there were four left.

(Stinger)"Now that all my fans are gone, I can go all out!"

He drove his spear through one of their heads, and in one swift motion, they dropped dead.

(Stinger)"I...I did it! HAHAHAHAHA! I took down several monsters, probably on level God all by myself! I'M SO F*CKING AWESOME!!!"

His victory was short-lived, as a more humanoid fish man knocked him out in one hit.
