His heart was pounding, I'll never talk!" Jonathan shouted as he saw Tom draw nearer to him, Until he spat a mixture of saliva, blood, mucus, bile, and some weird blue, sticky kind of liquid onto Tom's foot, which stopped him in his tracks.

Yuck.....

The demon shuddered at the disgusting liquid on his boots,
"Hm... I see lots of determination in this man, not that it matters," whispered the Lizard monster beside him to Tom.

"Why not you just finish him?"
Toffee shrugged the demon and Tom pulled out a small wand, very similar to Star's, except the wings were made out of bones, the big star in the center was now a large ball of fire, the decal of pink was now black, and a small crown with a small ruby on the holes of it.

He pointed the wand at his neck and said words from an ancient language not even the King would understand.

A ball of black light came out of the wand. Jonathan exploded into dust, and was gone...

The King was shocked, he wanted to slice Tom to pieces, but couldn't, a large piece of debris broke his foot, he couldn't walk, he was trapped.

"Well, Well, Well...... If it isn't the heroic 'King Of Mewni,'! Not so heroic now, are you?" Tom said proudly towards the King, "You'll..... Never....... Get...... Her......" River's response, " I don't think so...." Interrupted Toffee, "You see," Toffee continued, " Me and Tom made an agreement, I help him get Your Daughter, He helps me Take over your Kingdom, so it's a win-win." "Don't think it'll be so easy....... To take my daughter,the life of my wife, or my Kingdom." "What?" Tom now Interrupted, " Do you really think that 'Marco' boy can stop this?  That the 'Future King' will stop us? You, You naive old man... I could just!" He pulled out the wand from his left pocket and pointed it at River,

River was not afraid  of what he was facing, he was looking at Tom straight in the face.

His life was flashing in front of him, a black light was beaming in front of him, and just as it was about to fire.

"No," Toffee pushed the wand slightly, the large light nearly hit the king by a millimetre!

"What was that for?" Tom asked very loudly," We still have a use for this old fool,"

Toffee then took out a dart gun and shot out a tranquilizer dart at River.

"Rally the men, and send them to the cloning vats, we're running short. Lets pay a visit to earth,2 days tops." Was all That River heard, until he passed out.

Mewni has fallen.....

"Do you have any idea what the heck just happened?" Marco asked Star as they where walking home, talking about the incident at Stop&Slurp that had passed just minutes ago.

As they were discussing, Marco was met by his two best friends (Besides the girl right next to him).

Ferguson and Alfonso greeted them hello while they were also passing by the alley.

"So.... Marco? Who are you gonna go out with to the End Of Summer School  Dance?" Alfonso Asked Marco....

"WAIT WHAT?! " Marco asked, having no memory of what  he was  talking about.

"You don't remember? Principal Skeeves told us last week!" Alfonso questions.

*FLASHBACK*FLASHBACK*

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz......" Star was abruptly snoring during class, Marco looked at her, then at the teacher. She didn't notice Star sleeping at all!

Marco saw students who were resisting the urge to sleep.

"Star." Marco whispered towards the sleeping princess, "Star wake up!" He began whisper shouting. "Cmon Star wake up!" He continued, After a while, he sighed in defeat, and started to daze off as well. "Alright students, Tomorrow  is---" was all Marco had heard before completely dozing off.

*FLASHBACK*FLASHBACK*

"Oh yeah.... I......  was knocked out at that time so....... could you guys explain?" Marco asked Alfonso awkwardly, He sighs, faces Marco, walks away from Ferguson and Star   then begins, " You need to have a girl to accompany you, and I was guessing that Star was the lucky lady..." Marco heavily blushed at this and Star was busy talking to Ferguson about something related to Plates , "Um...... No..." Marco said this in a very noticeable sarcastic tone.

"Riiiiiiigggggghhhhhhtttt......." Alfonso replied with an eye brow raised up.

"Look, I know you have a crush on Star, You have to confess to her one way or another, we all know she has to go back to Mewni and be Queen," Alfonso stated.

Marco didn't want to say anything at this moment, Alfonso sighed, " Even if you say you don't like her, ask her as a friend and this is your last chance at getting love, remember Jackie? ," said Alfonso.

Marco remembered the girl he had been drooling over for ages , only to find out that she was actually a pretty nasty b*itch, " I guess your right, I mean, I can always ask her as a friend! Thanks dude!" Marco shouted as he rushed back to his house, "Wait! Do you even know when the dance is?" Alfonso shouted back, then Marco stopped in his tracks.

"Its Tomorrow!" Shouted Alfonso, And with that, Marco dashed back to his house.

Hmmmm...... Nah.. Star can handle by herself,  now I need to prepare,  Marco thought as he was running.

Oh, and if you're wondering, Star's conversation wasn't any different.

"Star, you need to realize that you have feelings for him..."
Ferguson said, making Star blush heavily.

"No! I just like him in a you know... Platonic way...●﹏●..."
Star awkwardly answered, Ferguson looked at her then to Marco, who seems like he and Alfonso were talking about somebody related to Math, and smirked back at Star, "I know you like him, I mean, why wouldn't you? " Ferguson stated.

Star had this in thought, then Ferguson said " Now about that School Dance Thing... You need to ask him... You remember what happened when you tried to ask Oskar out? He dumped you and went out with another girl," Star then said " I guess.. I'll ask him as a friend?" Ferguson slowly nodded, "Yeah, See if That will work.." Star then got a text from Mr. Diaz saying: "Star, could you please rush to the store and get some Milk, You have the money right?" "OK, I'll get the milk, BRB!😀." She texted back.

Ferguson and Alfonso saw Star and Marco rushed off.

Eventually they were left alone, Ferguson then began to talk to his friend.

"So... what do you think They'll  do?" Ferguson asked him.

"I don't know... but I'm pretty sure...", Alfonso stopped to check the time. 6:00p.m.
" Marco will probably make the first move."

"I'm proud of that guy, he's gonna be the first one of us to have a girlfriend!"

"Ha, we'll be the last guys to finish as always,"

"Nice one, （￣▽￣）～■□～（￣▽￣）"

I have a feeling Alfonso can sense the future.

"H-Hey Star, I was thinking about some stuff and, there's this uh, school dance tomorrow, and y-you, w-w-wanna g-go out w-w-with me?" Said Marco like a stuttering idiot, " How was that?" Asked Marco to the Laser Puppy #3 who was dressed up as the princess he so badly wanted to ask to the ball.

Two barks and a drooping tail, Marco wasn't surprised, he didn't understand what he wa s doing wrong, he did understand what the puppy just meant, which was whatever the hell he just said was absolute bull sh-

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Another thing he understood was three knocks meant that it was dinner time, " Coming down in a second Mama," said Marco to the door.

"Alright, let's try this again,"

Laser Puppy #3 barked twice, " Yes, I guess I should  stop being a stuttering idiot,"

"Bark! Bark!-----Bark!"

"Hey! Language, cmon let's start,"

"Hey Star, There's this school dance thing school tomorrow and i was asking if... You wanted t-to go o-out with me?
But, y-you know, as... a friend?"

"Mijo! Your soup is getting cold, hurry up," Said Marco's mother, who was tapping her feet by the stairs.

"Alright, Alright! I'm coming! Chillax," replied Marco as he was going down stairs.

While eating dinner, he had noticed that Star hadn't eaten yet, her food was already cold, so he decided to bring it to her room.

As soon as he knocked on her door, he heard rumbling sounds of stuff crashing to the floor, "Um, Star?" Marco spoke, there was nobody responding. The door was unlocked so he opened it and saw a completely trashed room, there was so much clutter you can count her room as a international dump site.

He saw Star sleeping and snoring quietly on her desk, she was writing something,  he didn't  want to get into trouble so he ignored it and just admired how adorkably Star slumber.

A few strands of her locks covered her eyes and mouth, so he moved them back to behind her ear, she then opened her eyes slightly,  "Feeeed Meeeeeee..." Star ushered as she opened her mouth and pointed towards it, Marco was drawn back at first then got a spoonful of soup and poured it into Star's mouth.

This process continued until Marco ran out of soup, Star 'apparently' got her energy back, Marco saw Laser Puppy #3 and was suddenly reminded of what he was practicing for the whole day.

"Hey , uh Star?" He began to become sweaty," There's this school dance tomorrow and uh, I've been thinking if..." Cmon Marco! MAN UP! "You wanted to go with me in a friendly kind of way you know?" WOOOO HE DID IT OMG HE FRICKIN DID IT HAHA-
"Marco?! I was actually just gonna ask you! And it's a yes."

Fireworks we're going off on Marco's head, "Great!  Remember we're still friends after this right?" Marco asked.

"Absolutely!" Star replied, "Hugs!" She shouted, and suddenly pounced him making him fall to the floor, Marco couldn't resist but to hug back.

They hugged for what felt like forever, and the Puppies were now playing with the two teenagers, Star picked Laser Puppy #3 and saw that he was dressed up as her, "Um, Marco?" She asked, while pointing at the puppy and giving Marco a quizzical look,
"Yeah, long story" they both laughed cheerfully, tomorrow was a big day...

The one thing I know was that, at this time, Star's beloved home was safe...
