"Star!"

Shouted Marco. "Star where are you?!". Nobody came.

Marco kept shouting. Trying to catch Star's attention. He kept burrowing into the crowds of people until he spotted a glimpse of the girl he was thinking about the past hour.

"Star!" He turned the person around and saw a dude in a princess costume.

"Ah! Sorry, I thought you were someone else."

Marco quickly sped away from the person and shuddered lightly. He continued to shout, but still no Star in sight.

The slow music began to play, Marco was slowly becoming devoid of hope. So he slowly walked towards the exit door.

"Marco!" Star called out from behind him.

"Star! Its you! I need to tell you something!" Marco ushered, but Star pushed him into the large crowd of dancing people.

"What do we do now?" Star asked, Marco answered, "Isn't it obvious?".

Marco took Stars hand and put it in his right shoulder. He took his other hand and put it to Star's waist.

Then they waltzed to the slow music that was playing. Star's eyes began to turn into... well... Stars...
And they were both dancing at perfect sync.

Flashes of memories came into Star's head. The Bouncy House Kingdom, where they danced the night away. The Diaz's Shed, where Marco told her that she was the coolest girl he knew. And the Blood Moon, where the light of the moon shined upon them and bonded their souls together for eternity.

All the time she was wasting trying to find the perfect suitor. She was right in front of her the whole time.

"Marco... I....".They stopped dancing. "I-I....", Star began to hesitate.

"I think I--" Star got cut of by Marcos finger to her lips.

"I already know." Then they leaned towards each other, they leaned so close their foreheads touched, their lips were inches away from each other.

It felt like it was just them floating deep in space, nobody else could be heard the two gazing into each others.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake rapidly, "EARTHQUAKE!" Screamed one of the teachers.

"STOP HIM!" Shouted a voice familiar to Marco, "Matt?" He shouted back.

Then the lights were cut off.
Everybody started to panick.

"Marco! Help!" Shouted Star, to his dismay, He couldn't see anything, not even Star.

"Let go!"

"Star! Where are you?!" He shouted once again. But nobody responded back.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a blow came from the left, hitting Marco. He tried to fight back against whatever was hitting him, but all he was punching was air.

Another blow came, and another, and even more, Marco's face began to bleed heavily, until a upper cut in the chin knocked him off,

"St-Star..." he spoke before passing out.

"Is everybody safe?!" Shouted Matt to the rest of the building, He heard groaning on the left side of the building, he quickly ran towards the sound.

He saw Marco on the floor, with many cuts and bruises on his face and arms.

Matt looked around if anybody was looking at him, he took out his wand and started casting a healing spell on him. After the spell all his injuries slowly faded away.

Marco stood upright, and yawned, until bursting out, "Matt! Someone took her! Someone took Star! Wait... How come I don't feel any sort of pain?"

Matt thought for a second, then just went with his gut.

"Look, I need to tell you something."

Matt then explained his life story, the word 'mother****er does seem to be said a lot in his story.

He also explained about the staff, and how he left his dimension.

Marco then explained the story of how he and Star met, and how important she is to her.

"Wow, Princess Star Butterfly fell in love with you! I'm impressed!"

"T-thanks,"

"We need to get supplies before we get to her."

"Before that... Favorite Video game Character!" Marco shouted.

"Sans the Skeleton!" they both shouted in unison.

"Favorite Line!" Matt shouted back.

"Hodor!" They shouted in unison again.

"Favorite Ringtone!" Marco began,

"Space Unicorns! JOURNEY through the stars!" They both shouted in unison... again.

"Did we just become best friends?"

"Heck Yeah!"

"Speaking of Stars, We gotta go!"

Marco looked through Star's closet, nothing there, under her bed, where was it?

He finally found it in her... pantie drawer... it took a lot of guts but found it, her dimensional scissors.

"A lot of adventures happened with these bad boys." Marco thought as he looked oddly into them, he noticed something, the reflection pointed to Stars wand, it was glowing lightly, Marco decided to take them with him.

The wand began glowing brighter by Marco's touch, so he quickly put it inside a bag he had in his back.

All in all, Marco brought, Star's Wand, Dimensional Scissors, Miniature Miniature knot Tying book, and a bottle of water.

Matt had brought other items, a camera, his own pair of dimensional scissors, the staff, and his plastic figurine.

"You ready?" Marco asked, Matt said, "Ready as I'll ever be." Marco nodded, and they both cut a portal to Mewni, neither Matt, Nor Marco have any idea what Mewni had looked like nowadays.

As soon as they entered, they saw chaos, the kingdom was destroyed, everything torn to rubble.

Marco looked at the destroyed castle in awe, everything was destroyed, even the town was crushed to pieces.

Matt began with, "I-its, it's all gone."

"Star is SO gonna be pissed when she sees this." Marco said with a flinch of doubt that nobody else may be here.

Matt started walking towards the castle gates, as Marco followed him, he noticed the armor pieces of the Royal Guard scattered among different areas, It was a disturbing sight to see that his home was completely destroyed.

"Who could have done this." Marco asked, Matt looked at the floor of the throne room, and picked a burning piece of cloth, he said, "Only Fire Demons could have cloth that could withstand burning this long."

"Tom." The brunette had realized, that demon really couldn't have gotten over his and her break-up.

"Who is Tom exactly?"

"He's a Star's demon ex-boyfriend that she dumped because he wanted to use her to rule over Mewni."

They walked down a corridor and heard a ladies voice from the left corner.

"Hello? Is anyone else here?"

Matt quickly told Marco to stay behind the corridor, he nodded. While Matt took out his staff pointed it in front of him.

"Hello? I can help you!"

He saw the lady go inside one of the rooms, He quickly folowed her there.

Matt had noticed what she was wearing, a long puffy dress, tightened waistband, and the pulled up Mewnian hair style.

"Queen?" He said, the lady looked back and was jumped back a bit, Matt lowered his weapon and bowed.

"Oh my, you must one of the citizens, you should have rallied with the others, dear me, is anybody you know need help? I can assist you." The queen answered, trying to look as dignified as possible.

Matt then stated, "No my queen, but I think we may be able to help you."

Just then, Marco scooted to Matt's side, he noticed the queen was standing right in front of her and was not showing any type of concern, "Woops!" he scoffed, then bowed as well.

"Marco! Thank goodness your here! Have you taken care of my daughter well?" The queen said while hugging Marco tightly.

"I'm sorry, Tom kidnapped her away last night, I couldn't do anything else."

The queen let go, and Matt contacted Elizabeth, she said that she would take great care of the queen like royalty.

The queen cut a small portal to earth, and stepped inside, he looked at Marco again and said,

"Marco, wait..." the queen stepped out of the portal, "Please kneel, you too Matt,"

They both kneeled, Marco handed Stars wand, she pointed it to the sky and it became a long blade.

She took the blade and rested it on Matt's shoulder, " I, Queen Moon Butterfly, Dub thee," Marco looked at Matt and he smiled deeply to him, "Sir, Matthew Damien, And Sir Marco Diaz," as she rested it on Marco's shoulder, the sword turned back into the wand.

"You boys are now Knights of official Royal Guard Of Mewni. You are to protect and serve the Kingdom of Mewni , and the Royal Family."

"Thank you Madam."

"Its an honor." Said Marco.

"Oh and Marco, Go get her." She finished with a bright smile, she stepped back inside and the portal closed.

"You got it."

Gotta say, one of the best chapters I've done so far, Marco and Matt are now Knights of Mewni, And Star will now be spoken about in the next chapter...
