The night was merciless as the cold breeze hit her like a slap in the morning while Lenka sat in front of the dock in front of the lake, waiting and anticipating that the same siren would come up and see her.

Rin and Lenka watched as the sun sink in the horizon, engulfing the forest in an orange hue where it was obvious that soon enough that autumn would approach and soon their favorite season: Winter.

Watching the change leaves, for Rin it was a painful thing to be immortal in her case. Probably worse for Len since it was more than a decade of pure sadness and emptiness.

“Loves me, loves me not.
Tried to get a rise out of
magnolia petals but
soon scattered them over you.
Watch me fall & drop away.” She sang and hummed the rest of the song and only after that did the siren she was looking for surfaced but only half of the girl’s head was visible.

“I was looking for you. You want to go back to the sea, right?” Rin asked with a charming and warm smile.

The siren’s eyes lit up but died as soon as it lit up and sang to talk to Rin.

“I don’t believe your words. How in world would you do that?” The siren asked, looking up hopefully at Lenka…er…Rin..

“Magic.” Rin reached out to close the girl’s eyes with her hand and stood up from her position and pulled the girl up with one hand to let her sit by the  dock on the same spot where she was.

The siren of course was shocked but she didn’t talk or open her eyes instead, she sat there and swung her legs to and fro above water and Rin noticed what were wrong with it: she’s got scales but she never had the chance to acquire her tail. It would have been a beautiful one she knows it would be a beautiful one with the greenish-blue hue of it—it would be breathtaking.

“Do you want to walk?” Rin asked and the siren nodded silently.

Lenka was silent. She had no more energy to even talk.

Rin smiled and placed her hand over the girl’s legs and gradually became a pair of flawless legs in a matter of minutes.

“There we go. It’s timed so be careful.” Rin warned and helped the girl stand up and the only cover she has was her hair that pooled at her feet.

With a flick of her hand, the siren was dressed in a dress of white, laces and a pair of platforms. Rin gathered the girl’s hair and placed it up in a manner that it would just avoid touching the ground.

“There~ Let’s go~” Rin smiled at her and took the girl’s hand. “I’ll take you back to salt water…” Rin didn’t know the girl’s name so her voice trailed off but was continued.

“Elisa.” She said and smiled.

“Beautiful name.” Rin smiled at her and in a blink of an eye, they were up in the evening skies flying.

Elisa was overwhelmed. To her, Rin was a good person—a vampire.

“Your wings are gorgeous.” She sang and Rin thanked her.

Elisa had a small pinkish tint at her cheeks until they landed on the beach. When her feet reached the sand, she kicked her shoes off and walked ever so slowly towards the sea while her eyes sparkled with glee.

“Welcome home.” Rin told her and watched as Eilsa moved towards the water and until such time, the water reached her hips.

“Thank you.” Elisa sang with tears of joy streaming down her eyes. A minute or two later, she was underwater, smiling in joy and swimming in glee around as she sang.

Lenka and Rin listened by the beach and looked out to the sea while waves crashed along the shore making such a calming and soothing sounds that they both loved.

“For so long, I haven’t been able to stare out of the beach like this under the evening sky. I almost forgot how beautiful it is.” Rin said and took in a deep breath before she felt their eye lids become heavy.

”Rin, let’s go home. I’m sleepy.” Lenka remarked in her head and Rin agreed. The switch was taking a toll on both of them.

After a minute or so, Rin stood up and dusted herself off and looked at the overjoyed siren by the water.

“I hope you found home.” She said and started walking off and eventually flew off to the Kagamine mansion through her window and crashed on her bed to sleep.

Len, on the other hand, have been pacing around the parlor of the mansion, worried that Lenka might be in some kind of trouble.

“God! Where in hell is that girl?” He yelled out in frustration.

Nikki and Kano watched as he paced back and forth, Kano more amused than ever.

“Well, why are you pacing like that? Besides from being worried about Lenka that is.” He asked and grinned, trailing Len with his eyes.

“As much as I want to stop, I’m just worried about Lenka. She’s a new breed and Rin is residing in her which makes it worse.” Len explained.

Nikki let out a yawn and flipped her hair out of her face before grabbing Len’s shirt and forced him to sit down.

“Stop pacing. I’m already dizzy and sleepy. I’m sure Lenka-nee would come home.” Nikki said and let out another yawn before leaning on the shoulder of Kano.

Nikki and Kano have grown closer to each other at one point or another causing them to be more comfortable around one another thus strengthening the bond between them. No one complained. They were a match made in heaven, metaphorically speaking…

“What is she got into some trouble like before and she has no other means of communication? What would you do? Sit and cuddle?” Len bursted out and stood up but Nikki pulled him at the couch to sit down once more.

Kano and Nikki looked at him and glared with gleaming red eyes. “Do you think we’re not worried about Lenka?” Kano asked and gripped Nikki’s hand.

Len’s mouth was zipped. He was being selfish and such a brat. Something that no ladies liked about him.

He stayed quite until he couldn’t take the silence anymore.

“I’ll go up and check her room.” Len had a hunch but it was something that was a total guess.

“Better do that than talk and talk like a broken record.” Kano told him and yawned with Nikki before they both disappeared from the couch in a blink of an eye.

Len turned to face the door and walked to Lenka’s room only to find the girl sleeping on her bed without bothering to change her clothes.

This made Len sigh in relief and kissed the top of Lenka’s forehead before he left her room.

“Good night, Lenka.” He smiled and closed the girl’s door upon his exit.
