Second Date 1/2
(A/N)
I was debating whether or not I should discontinue this story. I mean, I really suck at writing. Don't you agree?
*Perona's negative ghost passes through me* I AM SO SORRY THAT I WAS BORN!!! OTL
So, yeah, every oneshot I read with Doffy in it he always seems to be some crazy bipolar sadistic wackjob. I thought "Hey why not use this personality? It'll be fun :D"
By the way, I made two new stories for all the Luffy and Ace worshipers out there. Check it out if you want~!

*Sabo's POV*
Sabo was in his room, lying down on his perfectly messy bed, and running a hand through his perfectly messy blonde hair. He had been spacing out since yesterday and it was just now that he realized that maybe it might have irked you a bit.
*flashback*
"What do you mean?" He asks, backing away from the girl a bit. "You're possessed or something?"
You shook your head and looked at him sadly after seeing his reaction, you had a feeling that even Sabo would react this way. People can handle Devil Fruit users, but no one ever tried to deal with a girl with two minds. You sighed.
"I'm not possessed exactly," You mutter under your breath, fumbling with the bottom of your blouse uneasily. "I-I was kinda, umm, born with two abilities... sorta."
"Sorta?" He echoes, eye brow raising inquisitively. You swallowed and took a deep breath before continuing.
"Well, not exactly. You see, no one can really be born with two abilities because it was never done before. So basically I was a pretty rare case when they found out. And I was born with a twin and, uhh, he sorta didn't make it but he sorta did in a way." You rambled on, gesturing your hands to make it more—understandable to him.
Sabo stood silent as he watched you pace the ground nervously. You were rubbing your hands together and biting your lip, this was obviously not easy to explain, so he listened as hard as he could without interrupting. He really, truly cared about you. So much that he was stubborn for once in his life and wouldn't allow you to keep this information from him.
"—So what I am saying is that my dead twin brother turned into a demon and is now living in my brain," You point to your temple with a frown. "and he's the one controlling my Negation powers."
Sabo blinked, he didn't quite catch most of what you said. "Umm, how exactly did he turn into a demon...?"
"Sea Devil," You reply, anxiously chewing on your lower lip as you kick the dirt with your foot. "He sold his soul to the Sea Devil so that I can live a longer life."
"And what was wrong with your, umm, previous life?" He blinks, still confused as he mentally tried to remember what you had told him. You said things in such a nervous rush that he had a bit of trouble keeping up, it was a lot of information to kick in 30 seconds.
"Like I said, I was a really weak baby. So Mr. Sea Devil thought it would be a good idea to ask my brother's soul if he would be willing to sacrifice himself for me." You huffed, angrily kicking a pebble into the crystal waters.
"Uh-huh, right..." Sabo murmurs, eyes lowered and lips frowning.
*end of flashback*
The rest of the day had been awkward for the both of you, Sabo was so deep into thought about what you just told him while you were sulking most of the time. By the time the sun set, you looked really depressed and Sabo silently cursed at himself for making you upset. Again.
"Maybe I should—" He sighs. Covering his eyes with his arm, he thought about what to do to make it up to you. "Or maybe she already hates me."
"Who does?" someone asks.
"(Name)." Sabo replies. From the sound of the voice, it was probably Ace since this was partly his room and all. "Hey, Ace, what do you think I—"
He lifted his arm off his face and sat upright, staring at the little boy who was crossing his arms over his chest and glaring at him. He had freckles, raven black hair, and an all too familiar cowboy hat perched on his head.
He. Looked. Pissed.
"Ace?" Sabo smiled.
Ace tch-ed at him and jumped angrily on the bed. "Don't you dare laugh!"
Sabo quickly covered his mouth to hold in his laughter, tears were starting to drip from the corner of his eyes as he hid his smile behind his hands. Ace glowered at him threateningly, but his small appearance made him looked so... well, cute.
"What happened?" He inquires, removing his hands away but still had a broad grin plastered on his face.
"It's my punishment." Ace pouts, sitting across from his brother and sighing. "Stupid Flamingo bastard and his stupid detention." He muttered through gritted teeth.
Sabo couldn't contain it and started laughing, rolling off his bed and unto the floor, "ACE! THIS IS JUST TOO AWESOME!" He laughed.
Ace scowled at him and jumped on to his brother's stomach, fists pounding at the older—for now at least—brother's chest as he shouted at him to shut up. Sabo only grinned wider and picked him up by the back of his shirt collar. Ace wiggled around, like a naughty kid caught doing a prank, and Sabo poked his cheek.
"Aww~" Sabo coos, "Who's a bad little boy~?"
"I WILL SMOTHER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP, SABO!!" Ace threatens, fists swinging wildly into the air as he does.
An idea popped into his head and his eyes glint mischievously. Ace gulped and narrowed his eyes at him, "What's with that look?"

*Your POV*
"I knew I shouldn't have told him." You sighed, fingers tapping on the desk as you waited for Sabo to call you like he had promised. "He probably hates me now."
"It's only been half past eight in the morning. I'm sure he's just sleeping or something." Azazel rumbles.
Okay, maybe you were getting a little too paranoid about the whole thing and maybe you had a small crush on Sabo.
You blinked.
No, scratch that. A HUGE crush on Sabo.
"Love sucks." You mutter under your breath, Koala patting your back comforting you.
"He'll call. Don't worry so much." She reassures you.
A loud knocking from the door made you both jump and you groan at the door. "If this is just Luffy complaining again about those cherry pies—" You trudged to the door and opening it, coming face to face with the one person you were desperately wanting to see.
"Sabo?!" You shrieked. He quickly clamped your mouth shut with his hand and shushes you, glancing at the corridor to see if anyone heard. You were muffling something in his hand and you gave him a look as he pushes you inside.
"Aaaand this is my cue to leave," Koala chimes, picking up her room key and skipping out the door. "Later!"
The door closes with a bang and both of you just kinda stood there not saying anything to each other. Ashamed, you rub the back of your neck at the awkward silence that hung in the air.
Sabo opened and closed his mouth like he was going to say something, but refused at the last second. A hard stomp on his foot made him yowl in pain and glare at the little boy behind him.
You blinked and inspected him from head to toe. He looked so familiar— "Ace?!" You gasped.
"Yeah?" He answers, glancing over to you and sweat drops at the sparkle in your eyes. "Uh-oh."
Sabo laughs as his brother squirms in your arms and yelling for you to put him down. You only hug him tighter and started nuzzling his cheek affectionately like he was your own kid.
"Hey!" Sabo pouts with a hint of jealousy in his voice.
Ace sticks his tongue out at Sabo as his plan to cheer you up sort of backfired on him a bit, returning his frown to you as you pestered him on by baby talking to him. He widens his eyes as you started rubbing your nose with his, making him blush uncontrollably at the close distance.
"Damn it (Name)!!" Ace groans and goes limp in your arms, finally having given up the struggle and just let you treat him as the little boy he currently is. "This punishment sucks." He grumbles grumpily and crosses his arms, scowling at Sabo's smiling face.
"This punishment rocks!" You cheered as you held Ace in your arms like a stuffed teddy bear and started rocking him playfully side to side, making his legs swing. "I'm starting to love our school owner!"
Sabo chuckles at how adorable the both of you look and how much he was enjoying Ace's punishment. He walks to the door and opens it, turning back to you and noticing you frowning at him. "Is something wrong?" He asks, viewing your face.
Ace rolls his head back and sees your frown. "(Name)?" He calls when you didn't answer.
You shifted a bit and set Ace down before looking straight into Sabo's eyes, "Do you hate me?"
Sabo blinks. "No."
"Even after knowing how.. not normal I am?" You whisper.
"No one in this school is normal." He points out with a smirk.
"I'm probably dangerous to be around with. The government won't let anyone get in their way—" You were cut off by a soft press to your lips, suddenly realizing that Sabo had walked across the room, cupping your cheeks with his palms and just let his feelings pour out into the kiss.
You didn't exactly expected that so you just kinda stood there with your eyes widened in shock as he pulls away. You touch your lips and blush, ignoring the gagging sound Ace was making from being grossed out at the two of you.
"U-Umm—you—" You stammered, shyly covering your scorched red cheeks as Sabo pulls you forward into him, placing his chin on top of your head and humming contentedly.
"It's official." He murmurs to himself, "I think I really do love you."
Your blush darkens as he says this. He didn't mean for you to catch that but you did, and now you don't know what to reply. You glance to the side where Ace stood, he gave you a 'say something or forever regret it' look. You sigh. As a cute little kid, he sure is pushy.
Ace cleared his throat to gain your attention as he motions to his brother with his head, encouraging you to break the silence. You thought about what to say and slowly opened your mouth to speak.
"(Name)?" Sabo speaks up, you close your mouth impulsively at hearing his voice.
"Hm?" You hum in response.
"I really like you, (Name). I want to talk with you more... I want us to be together." He confessed, head still resting on top of yours, his face in the same shade of scarlet yours was. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
There was a brief pause.
A slow smile crept to your lips, "Yes."
