Dawn broke through the horizon, signaling a brand new day for everyone.

Cloudy skies and bed-ridden students were the only thing the other teachers had to worry about. (Name) slept peacefully unaware of the events unfurling themselves. Her skin glowed golden from the sunlight beaming from the glass of the closed windows in the infirmary.

Her warmth was what kept him convinced of the fact that she was still alive thanks to Kid, her chest slowly rose and fell as she breathed. Guilt plainly seen in his eyes, Sabo smiled to reassure her, however remembering that you couldn't see him doing so made him frown again.

"(Name)...I promise I'll get the ones who did this to you..." Sabo murmurs softly while stroking her cheek. He wished for her to open her eyes, praying silently that she would wake up and look at him again.

According to Kureha that blow to her head really hit the mark. She could be out cold for days...weeks even. That meant that their enemy was strong but there was no way he was living this down without a fight.

"Sabo, time to go!" Ace calls to him, despite the pleas of Luffy and the gang, he wasn't allowed to leave with the rest of them. So he decided to guard the sleeping beauty until they returned.

"Thanks for doing this, Ace." Sabo sighs and Ace pats him on the shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry about it. I may be small now but I still kick ass hard." He grins proudly at his strength.

Sabo chuckles and waves as he leaves. The group waited for him outside the dorm, eyes watching out for the same place: the city of Water 7.

"From Iceburg's reports, it seems that a group had been staying in the city for a while now, a little suspicious since no one new really arrives in this dimension." Franky scanned through the papers he held in his hands, reading and rereading every detail to make sure he gets nothing wrong, before handing them to Crocodile.

Crocodile growls and eyes Robin, silently telling her through mere eye contact to take the papers. She takes them and starts reading as soon as they left the school.

The city of Water 7 seemed normal when they arrived. Nothing new in the streets, people, or the events. With hundreds of citizens walking in the area, the group decided to split up and find anyone who looked suspicious.

Nami, Chopper, and Zoro went to check downtown. Luffy and Vivi headed to the higher ground of the city and look around the docks. Sabo and Koala were tasked to ask around the stores about anything out of the ordinary. Usopp and Law went to check the rocky cape just behind the city as well as Scrap Island.

"What about you guys?" Zoro inquires the two teachers.

Crocodile was looking around with his eyes cautiously. He nodded to Robin before stalking away, trailing a river of smoke beside him. "We'll check the places that are too dangerous." Robin whispers to Zoro as she walked passed him and following the Assassination teacher.

They've searched high and low for any vicious looking group of people but found none. Nami sighed in defeat, the city was big and she was getting tired from walking around. "Let's take a quick break..." She groans and leans against the wall while Chopper and Zoro continue to press forward.

Her feet were getting blisters and they've been searching for only two hours. "Curse the shoemaker!" Nami hissed as she rubbed her aching feet, jumping up when she finally realized that her two companions left her. "Those jerks—Mmph!!!" A large hand covered the lower half of her face tightly and she fell motionless in a few minutes. The man checked if anyone saw and, after confirming that no one did, dragged her to the shadows of the alleys.

Luffy and Vivi were of no luck. "What should we do now, Luffy?" Vivi sighs, she kept her blue hair worn in a ponytail to keep it from flying all over her face because of the wind.

A familiar "Nmaa!" caught their attention and they smiled upon seeing the mayor Iceburg. "Hey Icepops!" Luffy greeted casually, "Have you seen those suspicious people?"

Iceburg shook his head a No and looked around like he was searching for someone. "Have any of you seen my secretary Kalifa? She's been missing since last night."

Luffy and Vivi throw each other a glance and worried looks. "Disappearance and an attack in the same night. Luffy, do you know what this means?!" Vivi looks at him seriously. Kid had mentioned to them that the attacker was a woman, if this was true then—The rubber man nods, confirming, "We've got two people to worry about now!" He turns to Iceburg. "Icepops, your secretary might be in trouble!!"

Vivi sighs and facepalms, "Nevermind..."

Zoro stops, frowning slightly and looking over his shoulder. "Hey, Chopper, where's Nami?" He asked the little chibi reindeer ahead of him. The orange haired girl was no where to be found.

"Maybe she stopped to buy some clothes?" Chopper suggested.

"At a time like this?" Zoro scowls and walks back the path they had just taken. Chopper stayed close behind, knowing that the mosshead would eventually get lost without his nose to help find the way. He stopped walking all of a sudden, flinching at the sound of what seemed like an opening door, "Hm?"

Without a trace of the money-loving redhead, Zoro sighed in exasperation. "Let's go back and search for her—" He said, looking back but finding the reindeer gone. "Huh, where'd Chopper go? Did he and Nami get lost or something?"
