First Impressions
The clock rang 7:00 AM and made this annoying beeping sound that forced you to punch the snooze button.
A yawn escapes your mouth as you rub your sleepy eyes, trying to get them to wake up. The curtains were closed making the room dim but you could make out some shapes of the furniture and a sleeping Koala on the bed across from you.
You walk to the bathroom and got showered. The first day of classes meant the need to make a good first impressions. After taking a nice hot shower, you slip on some pants and a (F/C) shirt. You glance over Koala, who was still snoozing, before walking out the door with schedule in hand.
"Monday. First period, 8 AM, Power Control?" You read the schedule out loud to yourself. "What the heck is Power Control?"
The room was on the 4th floor and, since you did not want to be late on the first day, you took the elevator and pressed the button for the floor.
You could hear loud cries and banging noises as you neared the door. Peeking through the door window, you got a glance of the students inside. There were three of them and you recognized two.
"Nami! Zoro!" You chimed as you walked in. The redhead female and the green haired swordsman look to you and smiled.
"Morning." They said in unison.
There was another boy there that you did not recognize. He sat quietly beside the instructor, a tall man with blonde hair and tanned skin. He wore curved white sunglasses with red lenses and had a somewhat sadistic smile.
"Nami, try again." The instructor says.
Nami nods and closed her eyes in serious concentration. Zoro stands across from her. You noticed that they were standing on a large round mat with three other similar mats located on the other corners of the room.
Zoro bit down one wooden sword and twirled the other two on his hands. Is this guy for real?! You watched them, slowly walking to the other side of the instructor.
Nami opens her palms and a dark cloud soon forms above everyone's heads. "Forecast: Storm!" Zoro lunges forward just when she opens her eyes and points her fingers at Zoro like a handgun. Yellow lightning flashes down. You scream.
Zoro dodges easily and backs away a bit from the redhead. She commands another lightning to strike and it hits the ground before you. You scream again.
"That's enough." The instructor claps. The storm clouds dissipate and Nami sits down in frustration. "Why can't I get it right?!" She screams, punching the ground.
"Don't worry about it, Nami," The instructor says, kneeling down and putting a hand on her shoulder. "You'll get the hang of it soon." His eyes turned to you and he offers an amused grin. "Well, well. You must be (Name). Heard you'll be joining us today. I am Professor Donquixote Doflamingo."
He offers a hand to you and you shake it. "So...umm, what is this class about?" You look to Nami, Zoro, and the quiet guy. They seem to be discussing about something when the boy's reddish orange eyes suddenly locked with yours.
"Power Control is about learning to control your superhuman abilities," He informs you. "However I'm only a substitute teacher. The real instructor had some...business to attend to." Doffy' eyes averted from yours as he got a serious and distant look to them.
You didn't want to push it further since you didn't really need to know. Cracking your knuckles, you smirk at the three students with you. "So who do I beat first?" You joke. The boy smirks at your smugness. His wild red hair was held up over his head by a pair of square-shaped goggles.
Doflamingo laughs and pats your back like you had said the funniest thing ever. You scoff at him with the best frightening look you can give while trying to resist the urge to laugh with him. "First you'll need to learn how to control your powers. Kid come here." He motions the redhead guy forward to the mat.
The guy was quite tall and muscular. You could easily tell that he wouldn't hesitate to beat you into a bloody pulp from the way he looked at you. Compared to him, you were small and not exactly the most athletic looking girl.
"Let's see what you can do," Doflamingo muses.
"Wait, what if he kills me?!" You look at the calm teacher in horror. Who knows what could happen?
"Don't worry," He reassures you. "I'll intervene when it gets rough. Ready? GO!"
"Hold on a minu—" You were cut off by a loud thumping noise as Kid approaches in a run. His mechanical arm thrusts as he was about to strike.
You gasp and block his attack with your arms over your face. As his metal hand touches your arms, an invisible wave of energy pulsates before pushing him back and towards a pile of heavy weights.
Zoro furrows his brows and Nami pales instantly. This was obviously NOT a good sign. You sigh, mentally cursing yourself for unintentionally activating your powers. Things can not get—
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!"
Worse. It got worse.
Kid stands up from his position as heavy metal clanks down on the floor as he pushes the weights away with his foot. He glares at you, blood trickling down his lips. Not. Good. At. All.
Zoro stands between you and Kid with a wooden sword in his hand. "O-Kay, that's enough, Kid." He glares at the redhead who only scowls at him.
"Move it."
"She didn't mean to do it—" Nami covers her mouth when Kid turns bloodthirsty eyes on her.
"Shut it." He snarls at her before turning back to Zoro. The green haired swordsman puts an arm around you and hides you behind him. "(Name), now would be a good time for you to run..." He whispers.
As Kid runs and leaps forward, Zoro's wooden sword clashes with Kid's metal arm. Both were struggling to push the other away. "ZORO!" You gasp and turned to Doflamingo. "Do something! He'll get killed!"
"Which one, I wonder?" He replies with a curious smile, his eyes never leaving the two fighting boys. Your blood ran cold. The teachers here are obviously CRAZY!
Zoro falls back when Kid punches him in the gut with his free hand. "Nononononono!!!" You run forward and cover Zoro with your body.
"(Name) what the hell are you doing?!" He shouts.
"(Name)!" Nami screams.
A loud clanking sound reverberated throughout the room as Kid's arm collided with your back. You couldn't feel any pain but the impact surprised you nonetheless. Your entire body went numb until you felt a prickling feeling in your skin.
You heard Nami's scream,
Zoro's cries,
and Kid's shouts.
Then a sudden air wave blasts out from your body and knocks Kid back and straight through the wall passing several classrooms on the way. Students peer inside through the holes where he had come from and widen eyes as they saw your petite and (possibly) fragile body hovering over Zoro protectively.
The young swordsman was under a crater made from the same wave you had released. He seemed okay, at least.
"(Name)! Are you alright?" Nami rushed over to the small crater on the ground and helped you up.
"That certainly was interesting," Doflamingo chuckles lightly to himself. This girl was truly admirable to be able to deflect an attack with such force. He smiles, tapping his cheek with a finger as he watches Kid under a pile of concrete rubble.
Zoro gets up and coughs dry air. He looks at (Name) and shakes his head disapprovingly. You frown. "What?"
"Nothing," He huffs. "Just thinking how much of an idiot you are."
"Excuse you?!" You retort, jabbing an accusing finger on his chest. "This idiot just saved your life!"
"Yeah, but," His eyes trail over to the rubble where Kid lay. Cries of students could be heard as they anxiously waited for him to get up. Everyone in The Academy knew who he was and how he is. All except one. One very oblivious girl who probably might die after today.
"(Name), who's gonna save you?"

*Sabo's POV*
Sabo was in the middle of History class with Luffy, Kaya, Chopper, and a boy named Marco.
Ms. Nico was discussing about the connected history between the city of Jaya and Skypeia. Luffy was snoring away with Marco in the back seat. Chopper and Kaya were studiously scribbling down notes while he daydreamed about a certain (H/C) haired girl with beautiful (E/C) eyes. A smile graced his lips as he thought of her.
He couldn't stop thinking about what she had said the other night. Oddly enough, he was so curious into finding out what she had meant that it was driving him mad!
Had you gotten a boyfriend before and it didn't work out?
Were you married off to some wealthy nobleman's son but hated the idea of it?
Or was it something else?
Sabo tapped his pencil idly on the notebook full of unfinished notes. What does she mean by "Almost"?
A loud crash followed by a small building quake made him jump in his seat. It woke up Luffy and Marco too.
"What was that?" Ms. Nico asked, warily eyeing the ceiling where dust fell as a sudden thud sounded on top of them.
Muffled cries from students were heard as an angry growl caused more screams around the upper part of the building. "Everyone, stay here." Ms. Nico ordered and cautiously headed outside.
"What was that sound?" Chopper asked while hiding behind his desk, only his body was sticking out and part of his face was hidden away.
"It sounds like it was coming from the fourth floor of the building-yoi." Marco said.
"Hey Sabo." Sabo's head snapped to his brother's direction. His dark eyes were filled with worry for some reason. "Didn't (Name) say that she was going to have first period in Room 411 today?"
Sabo thought for a moment. Did you really say that?
But then that would mean that the crashes were—
"Oh shit." He jumps out of his seat and headed for the door, Luffy close behind him in pursuit.
"(NAME)!!"

(A/N)
Just in case ya'll don't get it.
Nami has the power to create storm clouds (inspired by her clima tact weapon thingy), it's an ability called Forecast. A person who uses Forecast can summon a specific type of cloud, Nami's being storm clouds so it's called Forecast: Storm.
Also, about your Negation ability, think of yourself as a human Impact Dial. OKay?
'Kay.
Bye~
