Falling Apart

"WHY DIDN'T YOU KEEP AN EYE ON HER?!"

Sabo's voice rang inside the room. His hands curled into fists as he clenched his jaw in seething rage.

The others fell silent and backed away from Kid. His orange eyes looked at him boredly, frowning at the accusations he was being given. Chopper tended to his wounds quietly, avoiding the cold glare of the furious man.

Zoro and Sanji looked at each other. If things were going to get brutally physical then they may need to step in.

Luffy was sitting at the foot of the bed watching you, waiting for you to open your eyes. One of the rare moments that he refused to smile, this meant it was serious. Usopp cowered behind Nami while the orange haired girl just stood there gazing blankly at the floor.

A couple of shouts were heard from the hall, Vivi and Koala came running in through the human sized hole in the door. Kid looked from Sabo to Koala, the brunette panting heavily from running up so many flights of stairs, tilting his head to the side as if silently asking her what happened.

Her gaze trailed from the blonde in front of her to the figure unconscious on the bed. She could hear Vivi gasp and whimper. Kureha finished bandaging the wounds on (Name)'s head and sighed, with annoyance clear in her breath.

"CAN'T YOU THINK ABOUT OTHERS FOR ONCE?!" Koala heard Sabo yell, his eyes never leaving Kid's.

"You're one to talk, considering that you even KISSED ANOTHER GIRL!!" Koala screamed.

Luffy's head shot up and stared in disbelief at his older brother. No, no way. Sabo would never do that.

"FOR YOUR INFORMATION, SHE WAS THE ONE WHO GOT ALL OVER ME!" He retorted, face inches away from the girl as they glared at each other.

Nami snapped, her hand slammed on to the table with a loud bang. Everyone flinched and looked at her as she openly glared at the people present in the room. "Could you guys stop shouting for a minute? We have more important things to do than playing the blame game!" Kaya spoke up, her voice small but audible.

Usopp peeked from behind Nami, his jelly legs shaking as he tried to walk, "Th-That's right! We have to find the one who did this to (Name)!"

"Agreed." Law confirmed.

"That'll be my job." A voice says from the doorway.

A man with tanned skin and dark hair stood at the doorway, a cigar in between his teeth as he blows out smoke. Kureha sighed and stood up, "Crocodile, where have you been?"

The man named Crocodile had a stitch across his face, how he got it no one dared to ask. He smirked upon seeing the old yet athletic hag taking a swig of liquor. "Dragon sent me on a mission the other day. I was called back here by the flamingo." He replies.

Crocodile was known as the Assassination teacher of The Academy, everyone was well aware of the rumors that hung around him. Nevertheless he was a great instructor, a little sadistic but pretty well educated with his lessons.

"Everyone return to your dorms. No one will be allowed to leave the area except the staff." He turns to Sanji and motions for him to leave the room. "The cook was looking for you."

Sanji nodded and left without a word, taking one last glance at his friends before leaving.

"We want to help find who did this." Luffy said in a low voice, his straw hat removed from his head and placing it on your bedside. The others nodded in agreement.

Kureha took another swig of her bottle before sighing and nodding to Chopper, "Make sure no one dies." She smiled at (Name). How lucky was she to have selfless friends like these.

"We'll leave at dawn." Crocodile informs them and heads out. He wasn't going to stop them if they wanted to charge at possible death, this was their choice.

Everyone returned to their dorms to get a good night's sleep before their search party begins the hunt. Even if there was an occupant, it felt lonely without (Name) there in the other half of the room. Koala frowned and slipped on her nightgown. "(Name), we'll get them back for you."

She turned off the light and sat on the bed, her eyes finally softening at the depressed man sleeping in your bed. "Good night, Sabo...." She whispered.

All students settled down once both Tom and Bartolomeo's barriers were activated. From the academy gates to the student dorms were caged in security. Doflamingo smiled in satisfaction and laughed.

"That girl (Name), she could either be a great asset or a great threat to both sides." He mused. "Fufufu~ Things are going to be fun."
