Narrator's POV

Mahir shouts bela's name and bela who was running behind nurse with an injection in her hand,stops running. Nurse goes and hide behind mahir being horrified. Bela glares at nurse.

Bela,"Bahar aawo. Ye kya meri pati ke peeche khadi ho?"

Nurse gets even more scared.

Mahir,"Bela, ye kya ho raha hai?"

Bela looks at mahir innocently.

Bela,"Mahir, mai kuch nahi kar rahi thi."

Nurse eyes pop out being shocked. She looks at bela and Bela was giving murderous glares to nurse from the corner of her eyes.

Nurse,"Sir, ma'am mujhe injection dene ki dhamki derahi hai. Tabse meri peeche bhaag rahi hai mujhe injection lagane."

Now mahir glares at bela and she looks at him with innocent face and puppy eyes. She then looks at nurse angrily.

Bela,"pehle tum mahir ke peeche se bahar aawo. Aur ye kya mahir ko meri shikayat kar rahi ho? Injection laga dungi, pehle hee batha rahi hoon."

Mahir is just chuckling inwardly. Bela continues.

Bela,"Badi aayi ' Ma'am aapko injection dene ka time hogaya ' ki bachi. Ab tujhe injection dene ka time hogaya. Lagwa le na, pain bilkul nahi hoga. Tumne hee tho kaha."

Nurse whispers to mahir,"Sir, please save me. Mujhe injection se bohot darr lagta hai. Ha mai maanti hoon ki mai nurse hoon aur sabko injection deti hoon par mujhe injection lene se bohot darr lagta hai. Ma'am tho mujhe aise dekh rahi hai jaise das(10) das injection lagayegi. Please save me."

Though mahir's insides are bubbling with laughter, he maintains a serious expression.

Mahir,"Bela, stop it. Ye kya bachpana hai? Injection dho mujhe."

Bela like an obedient child, handovers injection to mahir and sits on bed with hands crossed. Mahir chuckles and give injection to nurse. She leaves the room immediately. Mahir goes and sit beside bela.

Mahir,"Ye kya hai naak pe gussa?"

Bela ignores him.

Mahir,"Isme meri kya galti hai?"

Bela,"Aapne uss nurse ko support kiya."

Mahir gives icecream to her and she starts eating it still angry with him. Mahir cups her face but she continues eating.

Mahir,"Achaa I am sorry na. Please maaf kardo."

Bela melts on seeing his puppy face and smiles.

Bela,"Kal ghar jaane ke baad mujhe aur ek icecream chahiye."

Mahir nods and bela hugs him while eating icecream.

Bela,"Tum na best husband ho. I Love You."

Mahir feels super happy as this is the first time bela said 'I Love You' after he realised his love. He hugs her more tightly and mouths 'I Love You too'.

They back off after sometime and mahir gives her medicines. She takes them while cursing doctor for prescribing and shopkeeper for having stock of those tablets.

Bela,"Mahir, I am getting bored."

Mahir gives her a mischievous smile.

"Tho chalo thoda romance karte hai." He says by leaning on her but she stops him.

"Koi romance womance nahi chalega. Ye hospital hai." Bela shows her tongue and mahir glares at her being angry or I must say fake angry.

"Mahir, let's play something na." Now mahir thinks to tease her.

"Koi game wame nahi khelenge. Ye hospital hai." Mahir shows his tongue to bela and instead of getting sad, she glares at him.

Bela,"oh really?"

Mahir gets a bit scared.

Mahir,"Mai..mai.. ha mai tho mazak kar raha tha. Khelthe hai na game."

Bela,"Good for you."

Mahir,"Bolo kounsi game khelni hai tumhe."

Bela smiles brightly and says 'Pictionary'.

Mahir,"Like seriously,bela? Mai ab book aur pen kaha se lekar aawon?"

Bela,"Mujhe nahi patha. I want to play."

Bela looks at him with puppy eyes and says 'pleasee' sweetly. No no, over sweetly. Mahir smiles and nod.

Mahir,"Ok. Tum yahi raho. Mai jaake stationary se book aur pen laatha hoon." 

 Bela smiles brightly and hugs mahir. 

Bela,"You are the best."

They back off and mahir goes to buy book and pen. After some good 15 minutes, he returns and they both start playing. Bela starts drawing and mahir should guess. 

Though mahir understands which movie it is, he starts acting as he didn't understand. 

Mahir,"Ye kya hai, bela? Kya sochkar draw kiya tumne?" 

Bela,"Arey bohot easy hai, mahir. Itne ache se draw kiya maine." 

Mahir,"Ye achaa hai? Don't tell me ok." 

Bela,"Guess karo na. Aajayega. You love this movie." 

Mahir,"Yaar, bela. Answer batado." 

I must say that mahir is a very good actor. Do you guys think the same? 

Bela,"Pakka? Agar mai answer kari tho, I will win and you will loose." 

Mahir smiles inwardly as his plan of making her win works. He nods and bela smiles. 

Bela,"Kabir Singh"

Mahir acts as he got shock. 

  Mahir,"Kya kabir singh? Kis angle se wo movie hai?" 

Bela,"Pehle maine 'Kha' likhi, phir beer bottle draw karke uske andar 'Beer' bhi likha maine. Ab dono ko spell karo." 

Mahir,"Kha-beer, oh ya kabir." 

Bela,"Exactly. Ab last mai wo insaan kya kar raha hai?" 

Mahir maintains a confused expression and answers after 3 seconds.

Mahir,"Gana ga raha hai." 

Bela,"Correct. Gana gane ko english mai kya bolte hai?" 

Mahir,"Singing. Oh god! sing." 

Bela,"Very good. Aa gayi na movie name. Itni simple thi. Mai jeet gayi." 

Mahir smiles inwardly as his plan of making her win gets success. He maintains a irritating face. 

Mahir,"Aise kaise? Mai nahi khelunga. jaawo tum. Itni ghatiya sa drawing aur uss drawing ki explaination. Huh!" 

Mahir folds his hands and pouts. Bela back hugs him and kiss on his cheek. Mahir smiles but hides it immediately, so that he will get some more kisses. Naughty mahir. Bela continues kissing for 5-6 times. 

Bela,"Ab tho maanjawo." 

Mahir smiles and makes her face him. 

mahir,"Tumse koi itni dher tak naraz reh sakta hai kya?" 

He kisses her forehead. 

Mahir,"Yaar mai thak gaya hoon. I want to sleep for sometime." 

Bela gets worried and she starts bombarding him with questions.

Bela,"Kya hua,mahir? Are you not ok? Chalo doctor ke paas chalte hai."

Mahir hugs her to make her calm.

Mahir,"Kuch nahi hua,bacha. I am just a bit tired. That's it."

Bela back off from hug and sits at a corner of bed with her legs crossed. She extends her both hands towards mahir and signals him to come. Mahir happily goes and sleep on her lap. Suddenly something strikes his mind and he lifts his head making bela confused.

Mahir,"Bacha, tumhare legs..."

Before mahir could complete his sentence, bela shushes him.

Bela,"Chup chap sojawo, warna tumhe injection laga dungi."

Mahir quickly closes his eyes and bela starts stroking his hair with a satisfactory smile and happy tears.

"Never in my life I thought that a day will come where the love of my life will be sleeping in my lap. I am so happy. Thank you god. Thank you so much. I love you mahir, till the last breath of my life." Bela thinks.

Bela gets discharged and mahir takes her home.

In room

Bela was about to fill vermillion in her hairline, but mahir stops her and throws vermillion box. Bela looks at him being in shock.

Mahir,"You don't deserve to put vermillion of my name."

Bela,"What? But you said.."

Before bela could complete her sentence, mahir starts laughing like a devil.

Mahir,"Tch Tch Tch... Tho tumne meri acting ko sach samajliya?"

Bela,"Acting?"

Mahir,"Yes babes. Tumhe kya laga? Mai tumse pyaar karne laga hoon? Then let me tell you, I don't love you. I hate you forever. Wo tho mai bas meri aur tumhari family ke saamne acting kar raha tha. I wanted them to believe me and guess what? They did believe me and the fun fact is you too believed me. I am proud of my acting skills. I fooled you."

Mahir's words shattered bela and she fell on floor with a loud thud. She felt like killing herself. She started crying vigorously and mahir started laughing on seeing her in that state.

Bela,"Mahir ji, please don't do like this. I beg you. Please don't. I really love..."

Before bela could complete her sentence...
