[Don't kill me]
Travis and Conner Stoll, the pranksters of Camp Half-Blood, were on guard duty. That entailed sitting in one spot, and watching for monsters. If they did see monsters, they would either kill them if they could handle it by themselves or they would have to call for backup.
They had been out there for hours, and they were board. Which was never a good thing for the Stolls to be.
Suddenly, Travis's eyes lit up and he came up with a hilarious prank. He leaned over and whispered it in his brother's ear. Conner laughed quietly and nodded.
Then they both stood up and, in unison, yelled at the top of their lungs. "Monster! Monster! Someone help! Monster!" They pulled out their weapons and hit them together or swung at a tree trunk, making grunting noises and roaring, as well as crying out and altogether doing their best to make it sound like there was an actual battle.
Percy and Annabeth were the first ones up the hill, the rest of the seven except Frank and Hazel, Nico, and Chiron close behind. They all had their weapons drawn and grim looks of determination on their faces. The moment the Stoll brothers saw the look on Percy's face though, they came really close to regretting the prank. He was scary.
His sea-green eyes swirled with shades of dark blue and gleamed with a feral light. His mouth was set in a haunting snear and he rocketed up the hill as fast as his long legs could carry him.
Annabeth, running right beside was nearly as scary. Her stormy eyes had turned so dark a grey that they almost appeared black, and her mouth was twisted down in a grimace. Her eyes swept the hillside for danger as she propelled herself alongside her boyfriend.
They reached the top of the hill, stopping when they saw the Stolls standing there, no monsters in sight.
Not even a speck of golden dust.
Percy narrowed his eyes, glaring suspiciously at the Stolls. "It was a prank?" He said.
Travis and Conner nodded shamefully.
Percy snarled and turned around, waving his arm in a dismissive manner toward the people still rushing toward them.
"False alarm!" He called, "Just the Stolls pulling a prank!" He started to walk away.
Annabeth glared at the Stolls. "You shouldn't pull a prank like that.
