'Two days, just two days Sid' requested Avu! Sid sighed, hugging her! He knew this was coming!

'Avu, come on, cheer up! We are going to be together again after 2 years of your masters, hmm!', He tried cheering her up.

Avu: Yeah, but I am scared that if this long-distance relationship doesn't work out well, then what we will do?

She said while standing up. They are at the beach as Avu wanted to talk with him!

Sid sighed heavily before giving one more lecture on this same topic for the past 2 hours.

'For the past 2 hours, this idiot has been asking me the same question, huh?' He thought!

'Don't worry, we will make it out, ok?', he said with a smile. Even if he is irritated, he will answer her questions calmly!

'Hmm, bye! I will meet you at dinner today!' Avu said and left towards her car.

'OK, bye! And don't work your little brain too much!' He shouted practically on which she chuckled!

He smiled hearing her small laugh! He too left from there!

'Will this long-distance relationship work or not? Huh? Ahhh.... come on, Sid, if you can answer her same question for 2 hours, then you can handle her for 2 years through calls, yeah bro you can!' He thought and sat in his car thinking about the next two years!

'So, first point to note; Not to get angry if she can't take out time to call me some days! It's OK, as she will be busy because she has to do everything. Wait, my girl doesn't know how to cook! Yah, how she is going to survive without food for 2 years!!!! Ooooo my gosh, how? HOW? HOW?

After some minutes of tense air in the car

Sid: Yah, man youtube is there! Wait, her mom told me that she taught her some cooking! Thank god, I can't get a call to pick one dead body! Huff, I got scared; like here I learned cooking as she doesn't like cooking, but what she can do without me? Yahhh.... I have to be serious; even if she doesn't like me; I have to teach her some things, always I am not gonna be with her! Oh no, wait she can't wake up on time! Damn, there are a lot of things, I need to teach her before leaving, damn!' Sid thought even many more crazy thoughts were coming up in his mind!

Next Day

Early morning, Avneet was sleeping peacefully but suddenly

BOOM BOOMMMM

Avneet woke up with a jerk, she looked around and saw Sid standing at her room door!

'What?' She asked annoyed

'Okay, so my plan succeeded!' He proudly grinned at her

'What plan?' She asked confused

'Look avu, in the USA you are gonna use this trick to wake up on time, okay kiddo?' Saying this he walked away!

'WHAT', Avu shouted in horror looking around her room.

'Yeah and now get ready for shopping' he shouted from outside.

She looked at the door in disbelief! A weird alarm sound made her somewhat annoyed but she smiled thinking they would work this long-distance relationship out.

After a few minutes, she got ready for shopping but Sid entered her room just to witness the bed being as messy as he expected it to be!

' Look Avu, you are going to be alone there ok? So learn to keep things in their place after using them, so the room doesn't get messy more, okay?' He said calmly

'I know what you are trying to do, I love you', she said and started making the bed. Sid smiled at her behavior before leaving!

After a few minutes, avu entered the living room to see Sid wearing shoes!

'I made my bed, now let's go shopping Sid!' Avu said getting excited to spend some time with him.

'Sure, let's go kiddo!' He said while grabbing the car keys. They left towards the mall while listening to some music.

'Avneet buy limited things, as you can buy clothes there too if you need, though you are gonna need them for sure!' Sid said while lowering the volume of music.

Giving him two thumbs up, she turned up the volume. Sid smiled seeing her cute antics!

In Mall

In the beginning, Avneet brought a lot of clothes to buy but Sid stopped her and she put some back while sulking! That's how Sid kept reminding her to buy limited items!

After like 1 hour, Avneet stomach made some little voice which made Sid chuckle at her! She smiled shyly looking down!

'OK, as my kiddo is hungry let's go to the restaurant', he said while side-hugging her. She smiled lining towards him!

They walked towards a restaurant present in the mall like that! They ordered while taking a sit on one empty table.

'As I told you, I booked tomorrow's flight! It's in the evening, so I arranged today's dinner at your parent's house', Sid said while looking at her. She nodded hugging his arm and resting her head on it!

Her parents are in Pune for a wedding, so Sid planned to take her there for dinner.

They had food and started their shopping! They went home and had lunch in silence. At noon they packed her bags checking the list of items needed. They were not talking much, both were sad but Sid tried to cheer her up with some silly jokes in between which worked out for sure.

In the evening they went to Pune for dinner with her parents as they will have lunch with Sid's mom tomorrow!

The next Day around 3!

They are standing at the airport, as her flight is around 6:15!

Avneet hugged Sid tightly. She cried silently hiding her face in his chest. Sid too shed some tears! It's hard to say bye to your loved ones even temporarily.

They are gonna miss hugging each other in the morning, they are gonna miss teasing each other in class! They will miss each other as they were together for the past 2 years! Maybe 2 years of long-distance relationships bring them close!

Sid pulled out from the hug and wiped his tears while smiling at her! Her lips wobbled seeing him, sid wiped her tears and kissed her cheeks!

'Now don't cry. I am just thinking, the more you leave early, you will be back in my arms soon! So think this way and go kiddo', he said pecking her forehead!

'OK, I will call you during hold! Don't be sad after I leave, ok? I am just one call away Sid, just remember this!', she said hugging him one last time for the next 2 years.

'Yeah, I know! Now go or else you will be late and then later blame me', he playfully teased her on which she giggled giving him one hit on his chest!

'Alright, Now final bye ok?' He said pushing her towards the security door.

She smiled waving her hand! She went inside and sid left from there! Both were not able to sleep that night, their mind was not at peace!

After 1 year

In a year, both talk with each other every single day. They are more likely to wait to talk with each other. Starting a few days, Avneet would cry seeing him but Sid used to cheer her up with his crazy antics. After some days it got normal for them to talk like this.

Today, Avneet is going to get her result. She was sure that she would score well and Sid would be happy hearing it. She was waiting for the result which she got once she entered the class! She smiled seeing an A in 3 subjects and an A+ in the other two! She left towards the ground and called Sid!

'Heyaaaaa sidd, look I sent my result on WhatsApp', she said loudly getting excited!

Sid smiled hearing her voice, which already said that she scored well! He checked her grade sheet and smiled widely.

'Ooo my god, kiddo you got some crazy marks! I see and I am so proud of you. Keep it up, ok', he said in the same tone making her giggle loudly. He smiled listening to her giggles. He just wishes to keep her happy and appreciate her small achievements. They both are like this, they would complement each other without leaving a single chance.

'I know, and I will! You know, I am so happy! Now one more year and I would be back with you siddd!' She screamed excitedly making Sid grin like crazy.

' I know, even I can't wait for that day kiddo! Don't worry it's just one more year and then we will be back together like before, okay?' He said cheerfully making her happy. Like this, they talked with each other.

Time passed and now it's the day Sid is going to the States to surprise Avu on her graduation day! Here Sid is practically on Cloud 9 at the thought of meeting his kiddo after 2 years! And on the other side, Avneet is completely unaware of the surprise. She is getting ready for graduation while Sid is on the way to her college from the airport.

Skip to the graduation ceremony

Sid entered the hall and sat on his registered seat which he got after talking with her college as his guardian!

After a few minutes, all the students started coming inside and settled in the first two rows! Sid saw Avu and got emotional. She looked really beautiful and mature on her face. She walked and sat with her friends and talked with them while Sid kept on staring at her from afar.

Soon the ceremony started and everyone's attention went to the stage but Sid's eyes were fixed on Avu! His eyes shed some tears too while her lips were just grinning at her.

Now it's time for avneet. Her name was announced and she stood up to go on stage! Sid too stood up with his phone. He recorded her while waving at her.

Avu saw him from the stage and got frozen in her place. Sid raised his eyebrows looking into her eyes! Sid eyed her towards the sir! She came out from the trance and went to sir. She came down after collecting her certificate but her eyes were stuck on sid.

Her friends saw Sid and smiled seeing her happy. She surely talks about him a lot to them and they are happy that she has someone who loves her a lot.

Sid came towards avu while she was doing same. They both hugged each other tightly, avu cried burying her face in his chest. He tried to pull out from the hug but her grip got even tighter around him.

She doesn't want to leave him. She waited so long for this hug. Sid understood her and took her outside. He took her towards the parking area while hugging her from the side as she did not leave his arm for a second.

Till now, not even a word was exchanged between them but their hearts are directly interacting with each other.

They surely came closer in these 2 years, they understood each other without talking about their feelings. Now their hearts are completely together and in peace being in each other's arms.

After reaching the parking area! Avneet pulled Sid in for a long kiss which was filled with lots of emotions from both sides. They both missed each other's hugs, kisses, outings, and whatnot. No doubt through the phone, we can talk and see each other but it's not the same that we all know.

They both are lost in each other. Avneet hugged him and cried whispering, 'I love you!', Sid replied in the same way.

'I love you', he said hugging her tightly.

Some bonds are so strong that even distance can't break them.
