You round the corner and gasp in shock as you clutch your best friend's arm. Standing just a few meters away are (C/N) and his girlfriend kissing. You have liked (C/N) for two years, but you never had the courage to ask him out. You think that he would probably say no anyway. Now you will never know. (B/F/N) squeezes your hand; she knows how much you like him.  You feel like crying, but of course you can't cry in front of them. You and (C/N) used to be a great friend of yours until he got that bitch as a girlfriend. Now he barely even looks at you anymore. You miss the days when you and him would just hang out without a care in the world. That was over now. 

"Let's get some ice cream!" said (B/F/N) trying to cheer you up. 

You nod and quickly walk away from the couple tears in your eyes. You both arrive at the ice cream place and your favourite flavours. You eat them quietly as you imagine him kissing her. Your heart breaks every time they hold hands, or kiss, which is a lot. You wish with all your heart that he is your boyfriend.
