It's been months..

Months of Blossom and Brick's Breakup.

He moved out and she stayed back. They had both decided they would move in together the moment they both realized Brick's stuff filled up her apartment and how he barely stayed at his place, but now that he left... Her room was half empty and her other half in her heart has disappeared. She didn't think falling for a guy like him would hurt so much, but they had been together since the beginning of High School and now they are adults meaning their relationship had been strong for years until now... 

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"who is it?" an annoyed voice yells out from the inside of their house. 

"It's us! Bubbles and Buttercup!" The voice behind the front door yells back, but Blossom could barely hear who was at the door so she just got up and started walking slowly to the door with her head low. When she open up the door both her sister's eyes widen and Buttercup jump back from the horror she was seeing in front of her.

"oh...it's you guys" Blossom says before rolling her eyes and turning around to walk away.

Both sisters walk inside her apartment to right away get slapped by the horrible smell inside. Buttercup almost gags and Bubbles pinches her nose to avoid the smell and look around what may be the cause. Bubbles first notices the pizza boxes on the floor and many Ben and Jerry's ice cream cups on the cafe table. Buttercup sees tissues everywhere and a few blankets too. "Holyshi-" Bubbles nudge Buttercup in the stomach to make her shut up.

"Why are you guys even here?" the redhead beauty asks with her still annoyed face on. Blossom lean over to grab the cup of ice cream to take a scoop. Bubbles and Buttercup finally turn to face Blossom getting a perfect view of how she's been doing which made them not surprise.

Her hair is in a messy bun, her clothes had food stains on it and her eyes are so red and puffy. She looks like a complete mess. "Blossom.. when was the last time you even took a shower?" Bubbles ask slowly hoping her sister response isn't so bad.

"3 months ago.."

Buttercup gave a disgusted look while Bubbles look shocked. Both sister's couldn't believe how a guy who used to be a villain, is always in trouble with the polices and who doesn't have a proper job could effect their sister this badly. Not even her ex boyfriend dexter with a degree and great career made her like this when they broke up. 

Then Blossom begins to laugh like a maniac from her sisters reactions, "I'm kidding! It was a month ago" she says and Buttercup yells at her, "That doesn't make it any better!" Blossom laugh dies down, "Yeah you're right" she said and continues to eat her ice cream before it melts. Bubbles sighs heavily and waits for her sister to stop eating. 

"Why are you guys even here?" she asks again with the spoon in her mouth.

"we came here to see how your doing" Buttercup says before crossing her arms and whispering, "Which obviously isn't good" 

"well you already did, can you guys leave now please?"

Bubbles let's out another sigh before moving away the pizza boxes that were placed next to her older sister so she could sit down next to her on the couch "Why don't we go to McDonald's? We can get chicken nuggets and-" Bubbles got interrupted by a crying.

"McDonald's was me and Brick first date" she said before screaming out cries. 'This is going to be harder than I thought' Bubbles thought.

"McDonald's though?..." Bubbles cringes and raises her left brow, "Hey! Don't judge. McDonald's is good and their fries are the bomb." Buttercup tells her and Bubbles shrugs her shoulder, "True" 

"Anyways, let's go out somewhere and have fun! it will take things off your mind, right Buttercup?" Bubbles asks, and Buttercup nods her head in agreement with Bubbles.

"No, I don't want too. I need more time." Blossom sadly whispers in response and instead of her sister's understanding, she hears Buttercup burst.

"Blossom it's been 5 freaking month's already! Just get up already and go out! your our big sister, the leader and commander" Buttercup yells out frustrated. Blossom knew they were right, but she just couldn't find that energy or strength to do so.

"Please..." she begs to them. Buttercup let out a heavy sigh "Okay fine, but Bubbles staying with you til you finally decide to go out" she tells Blossom and Blossom nods her head.

~A week later~

'Incoming Call'

"Hello?"

"Buttercup! Let's meet up at Starbucks today, Blossom is feeling much better."

"Great, what time?"

"We'll be there at 2:10pm so be there at 2:00pm"

"Okay" Buttercup hangs up the phone and starts getting ready to meet up her two sisters

//2 Hours Later//

"It's 2:28, Where the hell are they?" Buttercup mumbles underneath her breath and tries to  look around the mall, "Fuck it" Buttercup says and starts to walk away from the cafe shop until she sees a redhead with a red bow and another with blonde pigtails. Bubbles starts waving excitedly while Blossom smiles brightly.

Blossom was all cleaned up. She was wearing light blue jeans with a pink crop trop and white Jordans and finally a half ponytail style with her signature red bow on. She look a bit different, but her smell smelt like strawberries and white vanilla. She has been healed.

"Sorry we're late " Bubbles said awkwardly laughing when noticing Buttercup's pissed off face.

"It's my fault!" Blossom confessed as she held up a plastic bag. "I wanted to get a video game." Buttercup thought it was a bit strange for her to buy a video game, but she shrugged her shoulders and gave her sister a smile to show it was no problem and, in unison, they turned on their heals, ready to walk in the furniture store to buy some new things for the house when suddenly, Blossom froze.

Brick looked up as he almost collided with Blossom and instantly stood still.

Both Bubble's and Buttercup's jaws dropped to the ground. Bubbles try to snap out of the scene in front of her and opened her mouth to speak, moving a bit closer to Brick in an attempt to make things less awkward which wasn't really working, but Buttercup's hand suddenly grabbed on to her jacket sleeve telling her it was the wrong idea.

"uh.. H-Hey, Brick!" Blossom suddenly perked up, a genuine smile on her face as Brick looks  flustered, unsure of what to say.

"um, How was your Christmas and New Years?" Blossom asked in a sweet tone, rocking back and forth from her shoes to her toes with her hands behind her back, clutching onto her bag.

"It was..good" Brick mumbles, confused, as Bubbles and Buttercup. He tries his best to not meet her Bubble gum eyes, but it was too hard. Her eyes has always been pretty to him.

Blossom was handling it so well.

Brick tried to break the silence and change the subject when he notice Blossom was holding a white plastic bag. "W-What's in the bag?" Brick asks curious as he forced a smile on his face. Blossom excitedly peeped a little "Ah! Yeah" before shoving her hand inside the plastic bag, pulling out the video game that made Brick eyes light up bright.

"You got Fornite!" Brick said excitedly as Blossom giggled softly. "That's my favorite video game of all time!"

"I know!" Blossom smirked before bitting the inside of her cheeks. "You always spoke about it when we were together at my house so.. I don't know, I wanted to play it so I know how good it is."

It become silent. Blossom and Brick stood smiling at each other like everything around them wasn't even happening and they were the only people in the world.

"Well, I'm gonna go!" Blossom said suddenly nudging Buttercup and Bubbles slightly. "I got a lot of stuff to do and things to buy!"

Brick put on one final smile on his face, forcing it to not show he's still heartbroken. The fight that cause the break up had so many misunderstandings and anger. 

Brick had noticed on the day of their break up that they were so attached to each other since freshman year and have never experienced being a part from the other and trying other things without the other thinking badly. So when he walked out and she didn't go after him it showed that he was right and that they needed time a part or they'll continue hurting the other. 

He's happy to see her doing well and moving forward without him holding her back. But if only he knew she wasn't able to go after him because of her trembling legs and how much she's hurting inside right now. 

Brick takes a deep breathe and before he leaves just like her, he says his last two words to her.

"Goodbye... Blossom"

Brick passed by them quickly not wanting to be around any longer and Blossom's smile faded away.

She couldn't take it anymore, even as hard as she try to look happy and forget him, she just couldn't. 

She burst into tears, shooting away before Buttercup or Bubbles could grab on to her to stop her...

Stop her from chasing after Brick.

But after four more steps Blossom froze and stops her body to just see Brick walk farther and farther away, she closes her eyes tight and her lips turn to a line before she whispers it back. 

"Goodbye Brick"
