One Shot 1: I Came For You (1)
💥ONE SHOT 1: I CAME FOR YOU.
🔹️Part 1: A Vision of Tony's Universe.
Summary: In a universe far away from Peter's universe, Tony lost his Peter, now Tony is in the middle of a tireless search in different universes to find the right Peter who will fill the void in his heart left by the death of his Peter.
So Peter finds himself in a bind when Tony ends up in his universe because he is the right Peter that Tony wants and has been searching for so long, why is he in a bind? Peter had also lost Tony and it would be wonderful to get him back in his life, it was just a matter of them agreeing on which universe they would live in but it wasn't going to be like that because the problem for Peter was that this Tony Stark wasn't like his Tony Stark, he wasn't Iron Man, he was Superior Iron Man.
Yes, Peter was definitely in trouble and he was going to need the help of Peter 2 and 3 to try to get out of this big mess, if only he wasn't the Peter/target of this stubborn and possessive Tony Stark... everything would be easier.
Damn Parker luck! Peter would think over and over again.
WARNINGS for this One Shot:
⚠️Kidnapping.
⚠️Forced adoption.
⚠️Use of drugs without consent.
⚠️Use of power-suppressing devices.
⚠️Emotional/psychological damage.
⚠️Panic attacks.
⚠️Stockholm Syndrome.
CLARIFICATIONS: in this One Shot whenever I talk about Peter it is Tom Holland's Peter, I refer to the other Peters in the following way: Peter (Tobey) and Peter (Andrew), and when they talk to each other they call each other Peter 1, Peter 2 and Peter 3.
This One Shot is set from the end of the movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home", I wanted to tell you that I altered the order of events and also other things like Strange calling Peter "son" instead of "boy" at the end of their conversation before getting ready to cast the spell that would make everyone forget who Peter Parker is, I did it so I could write this One Shot and make it make sense haha.
I also let you know that I transcribed the dialogues from that conversation, it's the only thing I used from the movie, the rest (everything) is an AU.
This One Shot is going to have more than 1 part but I don't know how many yet, however it is still a One Shot, it is not a long story, maybe it will end as a long One Shot.
Another clarification: I'm from Argentina, my native language is Spanish, so I originally wrote this One Shot in Spanish (and I'm still writing it), however I wanted to share it in English so I'm translating it but since English is not my language (I only studied it in school haha) I apologize if there are any typos, thank you very much! 😃😘
Without further clarification... enjoy reading 😘

💥I CAME FOR YOU.
🔹️Part 1: A Vision of Tony's Universe.
The fingers of a calloused hand caught the frame of a picture frame that rested on a very thin wooden countertop, the picture frame moved in the air due to the movement of the hand that held it, so that the white reflection coming from the sunlight that was on the glass vanished, revealing the tender image of Peter Parker and Tony Stark.
In the photo the duo smiled for the camera, Peter more effusively than Tony but that was normal, the teenager held with one hand a picture of the internship at Stark Industries he was doing and with the other he made bunny ears behind Tony's head, as a mockery, Tony also held the picture with Peter.
They both looked really happy.
Tony Stark let out a heavy sigh and put the picture frame back on the piece of furniture it had been leaning against in the first place, that piece of furniture was part of the room that Peter had or rather once had, the room was in the attic of Stark Tower.
Tony was currently standing there, his hands hidden inside the front pockets of his expensive suit pants, looking nostalgically around every corner of the boy's old room, until his electric blue eyes landed again on the photograph of him and Peter.
Yes, the truth is that they both looked happy in the photo but they had been even happier, much happier.
Tony let out another heavy sigh and thought back to his relationship with Peter Parker...
They met when the boy was 14 years old, three years ago, Peter would now be 17 if he had lived...
At that time Peter was on a high school trip to Stark Industries, due to fate Tony did not go to the company that day and came face to face with the teenager, both felt an undeniable connection, they began to chat about scientific topics and quickly became friends.
Peter's intelligence seemed promising and he really liked the boy so Tony offered him an internship 5 days a week, Peter gladly accepted after asking his aunt May for permission, in this way Tony and Peter became even closer.
They both worked for hours in the workshop, building inventions, perfecting pieces of Iron Man's red and gold suit, fixing the occasional fault in Tony's latest model cars, among other things they found fun to entertain themselves.
Tony also helped Peter with his schoolwork, mostly because he saw it as a nice pastime for both of them, in reality it wasn't necessary for him to do it, Peter was very intelligent and could solve them perfectly by himself but Peter wanted Tony's help and Tony wanted to help him, he wanted to give him that help that the teenager asked for with those big brown puppy eyes, with that buying look.
Tony couldn't deny Peter anything when he asked him for things with that look, it was his weak point.
They both liked to spend as much time together as possible, they were becoming more and more inseparable as the days, weeks, and months went by.
Usually after working in Tony's lab or doing Peter's homework at the desk in his bedroom in the Tower's attic, they would both sit in the comfortable loveseat in the living room and watch marathons of movies of Peter's liking with a large bowl of popcorn that they shared and plenty of soda.
Peter's favorite was regular Coke and Tony already knew it, he always had it prepared nice and cold but without ice, exactly how the boy liked it, whereas he preferred it with ice and he liked Coke Zero better.
Another thing the duo did apart from watching movies was chatting late into the night about any subject, the hours flew by, there was always something to talk about that interested both of them, there were no tense and uncomfortable silences, there was too much mutual trust.
They trusted each other completely.
Sometimes Peter would stay overnight in the room Tony had prepared especially for him in the attic of the Tower, especially when it was the weekend and he didn't have to attend school the next day.
Other times Tony would personally drive him to his apartment in Queens, either carrying him in his arms bridal style dressed in his Iron Man suit, which Peter loved since he was a huge Iron Man fan, or driving him around in one of his latest model luxury cars.
But on the days when Peter had classes, Tony used to pick him up and take him to school himself instead of asking Happy to do it.
Tony left Peter in the parking lot in full view of many curious students who couldn't take their eyes off them because they couldn't believe Tony Stark was there and wanted to take the opportunity to see him, they admired him for being Iron Man and an expert scientist and engineer.
Tony ignored them, advised Peter to ignore them, and then went to work at the company.
One night after a Star Wars movie marathon, Peter worked up the courage to tell Tony his biggest secret: that he was Spider-Man.
Tony seemed very surprised and grateful that he confided something so important about his personal life, however he asked Peter why, why he was telling him now and not continuing to keep the secret as he had been doing all those months, Peter replied "because I don't want to keep any secrets from my dad."
Yes, that was when Peter had said "dad" to Tony for the first time, then there were many occasions when he called him "dad", totally replacing "Mr. Stark" with "dad".
But that first time he said it, they both became a sea of tears after Peter's words and gave each other a warm, long and affectionate hug full of emotions.
They grew even closer, if that was possible, they spent more hours working in the workshop but now perfecting a multimillion-dollar Spider-Man suit that Tony had made for Peter based on his spider abilities.
But it seemed that all good things had to end, or change.
Shortly after this closer union they had, there was a sudden and great threat that endangered all the inhabitants of the Earth.
Tony, Peter and the Avengers: Steve, Bruce, Clint, Natasha and Thor joined forces and took charge, eliminating the threat but unfortunately there were significant casualties, such as Pepper, Happy, Ned, MJ, Harley and Peter's beloved aunt May, the only close relative of his family he had left, as if losing his best friends who were Ned, MJ and Harley, and MJ his love interest as well, and people he cared for like Pepper and Happy wasn't enough damage already.
Peter thought life was really shit, complete and utter crap, it hit you where it hurt the most and laughed in your face when you tried to get up, only to hit you harder and throw you back into the depths of misery.
Peter was devastated after that, he entered a state of deep depression that made Tony's hair stand on end and began to awaken something dark that was deep inside him, in his heart, began to awaken, something that could be translated as an abnormal, possessive and twisted affection towards his son.
Tony was lost, stunned, he didn't know how to feel about this, it was all new, a totally new experience, terrifying, unexpected and brutal, he had never seen Peter like this before, so desperate, so hopeless, so sad, so miserable, and those destructive feelings of his son were affecting Tony too much, too much.
The truth was that he didn't know how to help him on the psychological side but when it came to giving him a new home, something that Peter needed now that he was alone and still a minor, he did help him, or tried to help him.
Tony begged Peter to let him adopt him but he refused, Peter was so destroyed that he didn't want to know anything about anyone or the world, he preferred to be dead, he didn't want to continue living, he isolated himself completely, he didn't go anywhere, not even to patrol like Spider-Man, he even stopped going to school.
There were no classes anyway because the city was being rebuilt but students still went there to keep each other company during these difficult times, which made things more bearable.
The problem was that Peter wasn't lucky enough to have company, he had lost all his friends, of the students his age with whom he could chat the only one left was Betty Brant, with whom he only got along up to there, they weren't close at all, they had a simple cordial relationship, it would be awkward to try to talk to her now and to be honest he didn't want to try either, he wasn't in the mood.
There was also Liz Allan, his former love interest, the girl he liked before he started liking MJ, Peter definitely didn't want to talk to her, she reminded him of MJ and thinking about her dead was a hard blow to his heart.
And finally there was Flash Thompson, who was better lost than found because he was his arch-enemy.
Peter had no one, no one!
Tony was very worried, sad and hurt because the boy began to distance himself, even pushing him away, he would lock himself in his room in the apartment he used to share with aunt May in Queens, sit on the floor with his back against the wooden edge of the bed, hug his legs and hide his face in his knees.
Then he would cry for hours at a time, refusing to move, to get up, to bathe, to eat, in other words to take care of himself, neglecting his appearance and his health.
Tony being the responsible adult that he was, wasn't going to let him hide and self-destruct so even though Peter didn't want to he climbed in through his bedroom window, which seemed polite to him since he was holding back with all his might from kicking the door down using his Iron Man suit.
Tony was only trying hard not to destroy the home that Peter had shared with his aunt May, he knew that the teenager would not be happy in that case and he did not want to earn his dislike.
Anyway, Tony would go into the boy's room and stand beside him, not wanting to leave him alone under any circumstances, it bothered him greatly that Peter refused to eat what he brought him on a tray.
It was always food that had been ordered because Tony didn't know how to cook and there was very little food left in May's pantry, she probably had planned to go to the supermarket before she died, but she never did.
Tony wanted Peter to eat but it was no use, he even threatened to inject him with serum if he continued without eating because due to his incredible metabolism accelerated by the bite of the radioactive spider he needed to ingest large quantities of food and more often otherwise he could suffer a hypoglycemic shock that would endanger his health.
Tony was very concerned about Peter's health, the most important thing for him was his well-being.
Peter allowed Tony to stay in his room but when he got annoying he would throw tantrums like a little kid, he stomped his feet while sitting on the floor and punched Tony's legs to get him to move away and give him his space, which hurt Tony emotionally but also physically because Peter had super strength so he had earned several bruises on his legs for refusing to move, for not wanting to leave his side.
Then Peter, fed up, would abandon his refuge on the floor, get up, grab pillows from the bed and throw them at Tony.
When he ran out of pillows to throw at him, he would go after other things like items on his desk, his backpack, his pencil case, his textbooks, his Star Wars action figures that he kept on a shelf on the wall, his Death Star Legos that he used to build with Ned, or anything else he could find that was in plain sight, so Tony would go away and leave him alone.
But that was not to happen.
No matter what Peter did, Tony wouldn't leave, which frustrated the boy because he couldn't get him away from him and he wanted him away, far away, as far away as possible but there was no way.
They both had a very strong and powerful connection, and Peter couldn't break it even if he wanted to, even if he tried hard.
There was no turning back, their father-son relationship was unbreakable and he was going to have to accept it, whether he liked it or not.
The thing is that Tony endured Peter's tantrums, staying totally quiet until they passed, the boy would breathe heavily for a while due to his embarrassing outburst, then he would enter a state of apparent calm and silence, then the first tears would begin to fall from his dark brown eyes, sliding down his cheeks, falling down his chin and leaving droplets on the floor because those were followed by many other tears.
Peter would sink into an intense and loud cry that tore at Tony's heart, he would throw himself back down to the floor and curl up against the edge of his bed, hugging his legs and hiding his face in his knees, while his back would shake from the small spasms caused by his sobs and labored breathing.
Peter remained in that pitiful state at Tony's feet, who stood in front of him and did not take his eyes off him, and so the self-destructive cycle that consumed Peter Parker repeated itself over and over again, without stopping.
Tony had had enough.
He had no patience for more.
He couldn't stand it anymore.
It was enough.
He had to take action to ensure his son's well-being.
It didn't matter the means to reach the end.
Not when it came to Peter, his son.
Not when he was self-destructing, when he could lose him.
Not in this painful and extreme case.
The darkness Tony felt in his heart since Peter entered this state of depression was expanding.
There was no turning back.
He was starting to move away from being Iron Man and into something else... something bigger and better.
Maybe what happened next was a little cruel on Tony's part but there was no other way, he crouched down in front of the teenager who was in tears, put his hand between his arms, holding his chin and forcing him to lift his head so Peter could look him in the eyes.
Tony's expression was very serious, his dark brown eyes not breaking eye contact with the boy's dark brown eyes.
Tony told Peter that if he continued like this, without being under anyone's guardianship, as soon as things calmed down in the destroyed city, the child services would go back to work, they would notice that he was an orphan who no longer had any living relatives to take care of him and that being a minor for being only 14 years old they would take him against his will to a foster home, to an orphanage, and that he would not be able to choose whether he wanted to go or not, that that was the normal procedure for orphaned children, that even if he grabbed the edge of the door to his room they would end up taking him out and taking him away, and that his Spider-Man powers would not save him because he would take care of suppressing his powers.
To prove it Tony suddenly pulled out of his pocket at the speed of light a black bracelet made of adamantium, the strongest and most indestructible metal on Earth, which he had been working on in secret for hours in his laboratory, and without asking Peter's permission, without even asking him, he grabbed his arm and with his free hand he fastened the bracelet, closing it until he wanted to open it.
Tony was the only one who could open the bracelet using an unlock code, Peter couldn't take it off, not with his null powers nor with his incredible intelligence.
That bracelet suppressed his spider powers, while Peter had it on he was a normal teenager, he was no longer Spider-Man, not until Tony allowed him to be, until he let him regain his powers, which was not about to happen due to Peter's stubbornness.
Tony didn't want his hypermetabolism to end up killing him, it was best for Peter to be a normal teenager with the normal hunger that a boy his age would feel and not the voracious hunger he felt as Spider-Man, in short Peter's body would suffer less damage from the lack of food if his spider powers were suppressed.
When Peter got over his whim and stopped his hunger strike, Tony would take off the power-suppressing bracelet, he was doing it for his own good, his son's well-being was the most important thing to him.
Peter let out a heavy gasp, he had felt strange when that bracelet closed around his wrist, the next thing he noticed was that he felt weak, that his vision was suddenly blurry, that he didn't hear as many noises as usual, Peter was used to hearing everything, even the slightest sound, nor did he have the wild hunger he always had.
Something wasn't right, he felt... normal, like before the spider bite.
Peter looked at Tony in terror, who in response to his look gave him a couple of explanations, first he told him that the bracelet he had just put on him took away his powers and that only he could take it off, and he clarified him that when he decided to eat again he would do it, he would let him be Spider-Man again.
Secondly Tony explained to Peter why he wouldn't help him when child services came to look for him but he made it clear that he was doing it exclusively for his own good, he told him that he preferred him to be in a foster home rather than alone in the world, that at least there he would be more cared for, it wasn't the ideal destination but it was better than nothing.
So yes, Tony wouldn't force Peter to go live with him, to be adopted by him but he wouldn't let him be alone either, he repeated him that if child services came looking for him, he wouldn't do anything to stop them from taking him, he wouldn't do anything to help him, on the contrary, he would leave the power-suppressing bracelet on him so he couldn't resist.
It was really for his own good even if Peter didn't see it that way.
Tony wasn't forcing him to move in with him.
Or so he wanted to believe.
The truth was that what he was doing seemed more like a forced adoption than anything else.
Peter felt a strong shudder attack his body because of what Tony was telling him was going to happen if he continued in that stubborn, childish and capricious position of remaining alone.
The shudder he felt was also due to the sensation of having that black bracelet tightly wrapped around his right wrist, he didn't like it, he wasn't used to being without his powers.
Peter knew it wasn't permanent, that if he took off that bracelet... or rather if Tony took it off since he couldn't do it on his own, it was precisely designed so that he couldn't do it, whetever, he knew that if he took it off he would get his powers back but it was still ugly not to have them at that moment, it gave him a horrible feeling of suffocation, he felt terrible, as if he had lost an important part of his personality.
Peter was on the verge of having a panic attack.
He didn't know if it was just because of the invasive feeling of the bracelet or also because Tony had made it behind his back, without consulting him.
Peter was hurt by that action, he felt betrayed by his dad, the person he had always trusted, well... that trust had just been broken, at least on his side.
Nothing was the same.
Peter had another tantrum, stronger than the ones he'd had before, and also an outburst of pure rage directed at Tony, all for putting that stupid power-suppressing bracelet on him and talking to him about the shitty orphanage but Tony handled the situation differently than the previous times, which outraged Peter.
Still crouching in front of him, he grabbed his arms with his hands, pulled him towards him and gave him a hug that was forced because Peter didn't want to be in it.
Furious he placed his fists on Tony's chest and threw himself back, trying to get away from the suffocating hug but he couldn't because one... he was a damn weak because of that bracelet and two... because Tony didn't let him get away, he kept him held firmly against him, bringing Peter closer and closer, until he had him completely pressed against his chest.
Tony gave him several kisses on the forehead and on the head over his brown curls despite Peter's thunderous cries that reached his ears, he whispered words of comfort in his ear every so often, especially when Peter's sobs became more audible, and he gave him tender caresses with his fingers on the back of his neck every so often, all this while continuing to hug him, also occasionally caressing his back with fatherly affection.
Peter felt overwhelmed after hours in which he continued to be hugged and pampered by Tony against his will, yes, hours, he didn't want his displays of affection, he didn't want him to continue hugging him, he didn't want anything.
He wanted him to go away for that damn day and leave him alone! He wanted to sink alone into his pit of depression until unconsciousness from exhaustion took him away and hopefully forever! So he wouldn't open his eyes again to live another day that he didn't want to live!
But Tony didn't understand, he was never going to understand, he was a selfish bastard.
Already very tired both physically and emotionally Peter decided to stop fighting, it's not that he was doing it all the time because he didn't have the strength to do it, he kept repeating that it was because of the black bracelet and also because he was weak from going so long without eating, although he didn't want to admit it because that would be giving Tony the reason, but he did fight every certain number of minutes, out of pure pride.
Anyway, feeling totally tired he relaxed his body, losing his last shreds of strength and collapsed into his dad's arms, closing his eyes and resting his face on his chest, smelling with his nose the scent of his expensive cologne mixed with motor oil, he also felt the rise and fall of Tony's chest with his breathing.
Peter stayed like that for a while, in that comfortable position, the white fabric of Tony's shirt felt soft on his face but also damp, he wouldn't deny that it gave him satisfaction to wet it with his tears, in his opinion he deserved it for behaving like a real bastard that day.
Then Peter gently tilted his face to the side, he opened his eyes lazily because he had gotten sleepy and left his cheek resting on his dad's chest instead of his face.
As the minutes passed Peter calmed down and began to think more clearly, reasoning properly for the first time in days, suddenly he didn't want to be away from Tony anymore, he really didn't.
It didn't matter if he pressured him for days by staying by his side without leaving when he asked him to, it didn't matter if he built him that stupid power-suppressing bracelet, it didn't matter if he scared him with the orphanage thing, it didn't matter if he hugged him and pampered him for hours when he didn't want him to, nothing mattered.
He just wanted to wipe the slate clean, stop fighting and have everything go back to the way it was, he wanted to overcome it psychologically to be on good terms with Tony, he wanted him in his life, he wanted his dad.
That was what Peter had wanted in the first place but because of the pain he couldn't understand it, however luckily now he understood it, now he had it very clear and it was all thanks to Tony Stark, his dad.
So yes, due to Tony's tremendous insistence on staying by his side, Peter finally gave in, let Tony drag him out of the apartment where he used to live with his aunt, crying in his arms like the heartbroken 14-year-old kid he was, with pathetic snot hanging from his nose, with his eyes red and swollen from crying and with recurring, uncontrollable hiccups.
Peter let himself be made into a rag doll that lost its strength, to be fair he still had the bracelet on his wrist, he didn't resist when Tony separated him from his chest, grabbed him by both arms with his strong hands and jumped him off the ground, getting up himself too.
Tony released one of Peter's arms and pressed a button on the super-advanced watch on his wrist, bright pieces of his red and gold Iron Man suit came out of the device and wrapped around his body, until it was entirely covered, except for his face because he didn't put on his mask.
Peter didn't do anything to stop that, then allowed Tony to put his arms behind his waist and hug him face to face against his chest covered by the Iron Man suit, being face to face, he let him surround him with his arms that felt cold to the touch because of the hard suit that covered them.
So Peter was held tightly by Tony, with his arms trapped under the grip of his dad's arms and with the feeling of said arms supporting his back, and he also had his feet dangling over the ground because Tony was taller than him, meaning Peter was being lifted.
With his son firmly secured in his arms and finally protected as he should be, Tony walked to the bedroom door and kicked it down, just as he had wanted to do days ago but now he didn't care that he had broken it anymore, the boy wouldn't go back to that place anyway, he wouldn't allow it because it was too painful for him, he was doing it for his own good.
There were too many reminders of his aunt May in every corner that were self-destructive for his son, they did not help him at all, yep, it was best that Peter never went back there again.
Once Tony was on the roof of Peter's building in that complex of buildings, he put on his iron mask, turned on his suit's yellow repulsors and took flight towards the Tower, his son's new home.
Throughout the journey Peter stared at Tony's face covered by the armor's mask, trying to contain his tears and the hiccups caused by his sobs.
Peter allowed Tony to adopt him, accepted it, officially becoming his son and made an effort to be well for Tony, because he deserved it, he tried to get over the loss of his aunt and his best friends by spending more time with his mentor, his now real "dad", discovering that being by Tony's side was the only thing that made him feel good, what kept him wanting to live, and that it had been a stupid mistake on his part to lock himself away in his self-destructive thoughts while grieving for his loved ones.
But seriously that now everything was clear to him, he had to be with Tony and that was what he wanted to do, Peter didn't want to leave his side, he went from distancing himself to behaving like a tick, always stuck to his father's side, even going to sleep with him in his room so he could hug him, kiss his forehead, caress his brown, wavy hair and whisper sweet words of encouragement in his ear, especially on those fateful nights when he was afraid and had nightmares.
Peter desperately wanted Tony to treat him like a spoiled little son.
And Tony couldn't be more delighted.
But despite this renewed closeness, the dark feeling that Tony had experienced when Peter put himself in danger grew with the passing of the days, taking over his heart, leading him to want to be stronger, to be stronger to protect his son, from everything and everyone.
So Tony began to seriously consider creating a powerful substance called Extremis.
Of course he would lie to Peter saying it was to protect the world from another threat because otherwise the boy would accuse him of being overprotective but the truth was that it was only to protect him.
And part of Tony's plan was to inject Peter with Extremis as well so that it wouldn't be one-sided the feeling, Tony wanted Peter to want to protect him too, for them to protect each other, not because Tony actually needed protection, but because he wanted to be in tune with Peter, for their father-son bond to be stronger than ever.
Lately Tony felt that Peter did not reciprocate the same way, that things were not as before, that their bond was on the ropes, that pure affection went only one way, Tony's, and Peter had more than demonstrated it to him by refusing to go live with him, Tony had to use the dark side inside him, the one he refused to acknowledge he had, to get it.
What was the dark thing that Tony was showing up to this point? Well, pushing Peter when he was very depressed, being in his presence when he didn't want to, making a bracelet to suppress his powers, scaring him with the orphanage thing, hugging him and pampering him against his will, trapping him and dragging him out of his room, practically adopting him by force.
But all of that was for a reason that justified the means to reach the end, Tony did it to protect his son.
But despite that their father-son relationship was definitely on the ropes, even though Peter clung to him like a tick later, their relationship was still on the ropes and could be again, Tony didn't want it to be again.
Tony didn't know if this was because of the hormonal and mood swings typical of teenagers or because of what happened, because of the death of the boy's loved ones that led him to that depressive state that awakened dark feelings of protection in Tony, forcing Peter to be by his side until the teenager gave in and then made a kind of mental click, really wanting to be by his side.
It was all very complicated but whatever it was, Tony didn't like it and it was making him desperate.
He wanted to fix it and the way to do that was to inject Peter with Extremis.
Tony cleverly prepared the ground, one day in the laboratory he approached Peter and told him about a project he had to prevent another catastrophe like the one that killed his aunt May and his friends from happening again, to prevent another threat from endangering them both and the other beings on the planet.
Tony told him that his project was the creation of a very powerful substance called Extremis that would give them more strength, enhanced abilities, speed, super hearing, enhanced eyesight, advanced healing and reflexes, well... Peter already had all that for being Spider-Man but his abilities would be enhanced and in Tony's case he would get them from 0 since without the Iron Man suit on he was an ordinary human.
Peter accepted without hesitation, mostly because he was excited about the idea of working on something new with his dad, he already had powers, Tony had taken off the suppressor bracelet a while ago and had never put it back on, so Peter didn't really feel like he needed his powers to be stronger.
Father and son worked side by side for 3 months to finish the Extremis concoction, and once it was ready, after late nights and maximum effort, they injected it.
The effect of Extremis running through their veins was immediate, in addition to everything Tony had told Peter would happen, things also happened that were not in the calculations, for example both of their eyes changed from dark brown to electric blue, but that was nothing, it was not the most significant change.
The most significant change was in their personality, which became possessive and twisted.
Tony already had darkness in his heart, after Extremis that darkness was incredibly enhanced, and Peter, who had always been such a pure and noble boy, transformed into a totally different and opposite person to what he had been.
But the father-son bond they had grew stronger than ever, which Tony had foreseen and wanted to happen, also the feeling of protection for the other increased considerably, to the point of being abnormal, their relationship was very possessive and twisted.
In general Extremis caused serious side effects, well, serious for others at least.
Tony and Peter went from being heroes to villains, they became ruthless, they no longer cared about protecting the Earth, but rather taking it over, they had become the threat they had wanted to avoid.
Well... in Tony's case he had only wanted to avoid the first one, the one that killed Pepper, Happy and Peter's loved ones, the second one had been an excuse in order to trick Peter into injecting himself with Extremis along with him.
Peter revealed his secret identity to the world, he said he was Spider-Man, just as Tony had done years before when he announced at a press conference that he was Iron Man.
Peter did it because he wanted to rule the world with his father and for that people needed to know who he really was, this new him, the improved Peter Parker.
The Avengers opposed the tyranny of father and son so they were eliminated, Tony and Peter devised a plan together, they ambushed them, Tony killed Steve, Bruce and Clint, and Peter killed Natasha and Thor, then, with no one else powerful enough to confront them, they became the highest authority on the planet, they transformed into a kind of kings or rather gods.
The inhabitants of the Earth venerated them, others feared them but did not dare to say anything to them and obeyed them in everything to save their lives, the brave ones who dared to go against them were killed as happened with the Avengers.
Peter sought revenge for his past life so he approached Flash, gave him a beating that he thought was discreet and then made it clear that he had to obey him in everything if he wanted to live, he made him his personal slave just to annoy him because he didn't really need him.
Flash was useless in Peter's opinion but if he wanted to keep breathing to do something he liked like his stupid and pathetic influencer videos to gain followers on Instagram, he had to run all the errands he asked him to, period.
And Peter's increasingly ridiculous errands such as picking up a delivery for him on foot across town in Manhattan never ended, Flash no longer knew whether it was better to stay alive or let his former classmate kill him.
Former because Peter never went back to school, it seemed like a waste of time to him.
Now Flash realized that Peter had been a very good person and he regretted having bullied him for so many years, not only because of the torment he was going through now but because Peter truly did not deserve it, he had not deserved such cruel treatment from him.
In other words Flash redeemed himself but it was too late, he would have to continue obeying Peter in everything to see the light of a new day, which is what he really wanted to do even if it was painful, he was too cowardly to die.
The father-son bond that Tony and Peter had forged was exponentially strengthened after Extremis, both needed each other like air to breathe, they could not live without the other.
Their relationship became possessive and twistedly needy of affection and love, meaning that they couldn't be away from each other for long periods of time and needed to show each other the affection of a father and son through hugs, pats on the shoulder, ruffling hair, kisses on the forehead, etc.
Just as Tony had worked with Peter in Extremis, he worked on improvements for his Iron Man suit and on improvements for his son's Spider-Man suit because he didn't want them to go back to using their old suits, they had become obsolete, now they both needed a new suit for their new person, they were improved, superior.
Tony created two endo-symbiotic armors that were based on the biology of the symbiotes, the armors were composed of a liquid and intelligent silver metal that hardened instantly after having covered their entire body.
Finally with the Iron Man and Spider-Man suits created, Tony named himself in the eyes of the world under his power as Superior Iron Man and his son Peter Parker as Superior Spider-Man.
Everything seemed to be going perfectly in those times until one fateful night Tony felt his heart tear with pain like he had never felt before, he blamed himself and to this day he still blames himself, it turns out that it had only taken him to neglect Peter for half an hour, for a half damn hour! to lose him.
Tony found his son's corpse on the floor of the laboratory where they had worked so many hours and shared beautiful moments together, Tony felt like he was going to die at that moment.
When he was able to handle the shock to some extent, he performed an autopsy on his deceased son, in deep pain, and came to the explanation that Peter had injected himself with another dose of Extremis, who knows why, and that combined with his mutant spider DNA it caused a very serious adverse effect on him, it gave him a fatal reaction, evidently he couldn't inject himself with Extremis twice.
So that's when Tony came to the conclusion that injecting Peter with Extremis in the first place was a serious mistake, perhaps his son had been intoxicated by having more power than what being Spider-Man gave him, he became addicted, he wanted to be stronger and that led to his death.
And again... it was all Tony's fault, he shouldn't have injected him with Extremis, he shouldn't have left him alone, he was supposed to protect him but he had failed him! He had failed his son and now he was dead!
But Tony would fix it, he would make amends, he refused to lose his son forever, he would invent time travel and travel to every possible universe to find Peter, his Peter, a Peter like the one he had lost, and he would bring him home with him.
He really would do it, it was just a matter of perseverance, time and patience.
So this led to the present moment, after three years and multiple trips through different universes... Tony had not been lucky, in some universes Peter did not even exist, in others he did find Peter Parker but none of those Peters were his Peter, they did not physically look like his Peter, and besides Tony did not feel the immediate connection with them as he had felt that day with Peter on the excursion to Stark Industries, the day they met.
No, none of those pathetic, good-for-nothing Peter Parkers filled the void in his heart, the void left by the death of his Peter, of his son.
But Tony was not going to give up even when he was defeated.
Tony scanned his late son's room with his electric blue eyes once more, his heart filling with pain but also with perseverance, it was time to take a trip to another universe until he could find his Peter, the right Peter who would fill the void left by the previous Peter, the Peter who would become his son, whether he wanted to or not.
But this time Tony wouldn't give Extremis to Peter, he wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
With that firm purpose in mind, Tony turned around and left Peter's room, went up to the roof of his Tower and put on his silver liquid Superior Iron Man suit that hardened instantly when it came into contact with his body, then his blue eyes emitted an intense glow.
Tony was about to travel to another universe in search of Peter but something unexpected and abrupt happened that stopped him.
Long, wide, bright and purple streaks had appeared in the sky, Tony narrowed his electric blue eyes in that direction, suddenly he felt a strong and inexplicable pulling sensation, something drawing him there, a need to get closer.
Despite what Tony felt, he hesitated, he didn't consider himself a coward but the truth was that he was uncertain, he didn't know if going through one of those cracks was dangerous, he didn't know if he would die if he did it but he insisted that something was calling him, even more so now that he was looking in that direction, with his developed hearing he heard something like "Peter Parker" in the air.
Tony felt his stomach turn, his heart pounding in his throat, his hands shaking and sweaty and he was slightly short of breath, all due to the shock of hearing a "Peter Parker", the same name his son had had, something like that had never happened to him until now.
Yes, something definitely attracted him strongly to go there, to that unknown place instead of the universe he intended to visit.
Tony was puzzled because that wasn't the way he traveled between universes, he seriously didn't know if it was dangerous to go through one of the violet cracks that shone brightly in the sky but he decided to try it.
And soon Tony would discover that he did well because he would find Peter and he wouldn't want to let him go, he would discover that he was evidently the only Peter he would be able to access for a long time because until now, after three years, he never reached the Peter he searched tirelessly in the way he knew how to travel through universes, he didn't say that he would never find him like that but it could take him a long time.
And it was already taking him a long time, 3 damn years! He had been away from his son for 3 damn years! It was a torture!
Tony couldn't waste this magnificent opportunity that was about to be presented to him as a gift from heaven to finally obtain "his" son, which would lead Tony to be more stubborn than he would have been, he wanted Peter but this apparently limited edition Peter that he was about to find he would want him even more, desperately.
There would be no escape for Peter Parker after Tony Stark saw him, he would not be able to escape from him, from Superior Iron Man, he would not be able to evade his new destiny.
Everything was about to change forever.
