Synopsis: a lazy day in bed with the prince of darkness himself.

You had been sleeping for 15 hours straight and you didn't care about any obligations you had today. You were mentally and physically checked out. Today was a day to relax so you got a cup of hot chocolate and sat gazing out your window. The starship was just as busy as any other day as you saw stormtroopers walk past your room.
Your were tired from sleeping and finished your drink then cozying back under the covers. Kylo has gotten you this extremely soft blanket when he was on a mission in another system. This blanket had always been your favorite and you slept with it every night.
The one thing you could never understand was why the ship was always so cold. It felt like 60 degrees all the time so you bundled up. You were thinking about kylo and your training and the force. Life was constantly changing for you and you liked it that way but sometimes it could be quite chaotic. You were laying on your side with your head propped up on your elbow as you stared out at the vast galaxy ahead of you. You were focusing on a moon ahead when you felt a whisp of air and a click that followed.

You turned over looking at the door and saw Kylo Ren step into the room. You were squinting at him because you had kept the lights dimmed but could make out his slender figure. He closed the door and leaned against the wall breathing heavily. You just watched him closely as he slowly gathered his thoughts and took off his helmet. He looked up to you as he lowered his helmet to his side he looked so worn out maybe even worse than you. The you turned your gaze back to the window as your head fell back to its place. He slowly made his way over to the edge of your bed and leaned on the mattress. You were laying in the middle of the bed covered in blankets and he just watched you in your serenity for a few moments. He placed his helmet on the edge of the bed to the right of your feet and made his way around the bed over to where you were facing. Looking down at you he scanned your face for any emotions but you were a blank slate. He sat down focusing on you and placed his hand on your hip and your skin was slightly uncovered. His hand was cold and you shivered under his touch he rubbed your side a little as if he wanted to get your attention.

You looked up at him slightly wondering. As to what he could be thinking and saw something. You hadn't expected. He looked completely drained of life. You knew he had been busy lately with the building of the star killer base but you hadn't seen how much of a toll it had on him. He looked almost as tired as you and you already knew what he was thinking. You imagined that he was hoping to sleep for the next two days and practically leave all of his obligations behind him for a while.

He was looking into your eyes not saying anything just focusing on your facial features. You tore your eyes from his looking back to the window. He shifted his eyes to the ground and you looked back to him raising your hand up to graze his cheek. You wanted to look at him closer and he let you as he turned his face back towards you as he closed his eyes. You held his chin looking at the bags under his eyes, tracing his cheek with the back of your hand. You let him go and shifted over towards the middle of the bed a little more. He opened his eyes and saw the space you had made for him. You patted the space next to you and he was delighted to fill it. He fell back into the pillows next to you and pulled the blanket up on over you again making sure to keep you warm. He wrapped his arm around your back and pulled you closer to him. Your head was resting on his chest so that you could still look at the window and he could still watch you.

You were nestled into his side perfectly and you were warmer than before. You looked up at him and he smiled at you just knowing that his own responsibility was to keep you warm and comfy. He closed his eyes and you laid your head back against his chest .

"Who would have known that Kylo Ren was so warm" you mumbled.
"Only you" Kylo relied sleepily.
"Lucky me,"you smiled into his side.
He let out a chuckle and pulled you a little closer to him so that there was no space left between you. You both fell asleep within minutes continuing your lazy day.
