Request: the reader is Kylo's younger sister who joined the order with him and the reader and General Hux are secretly dating but Kylo finds out. So of course he loses his temper because he's a really protective older brother.

Kylo was a good brother a really good brother. You two shared quarters it was a two bedroom two bathroom, living room and kitchen so you both had your space. Your brother was quiet he didn't date he didn't party he didn't go to banquets or balls of any kind he just did his work, trained and went sleep. But you were a little more outgoing. You had been invited to dinners once a week sometimes twice and went to this royal party when the first order hosted guests and overall you were more approachable than Kylo was.

Yes Kylo Ren was your brother the Commander of the First Order. He was stern towards all of his colleagues but warmer towards you. He was kind to you, usually checking up on you daily. He always worried about how you were feeling since he was related to you it was much easier for him to read your emotions than anyone else. He knew you and could easily tell when you were upset or particularly when you his little sister were hiding something from him. It wasn't anything major like being pregnant or wanting to join the Resistance like your mother. No it was something much less drastic you hadn't told Kylo that you were dating General Hux.

General Hux who happened to be Kylo's least favourite person on daily basis. You didn't think this would be a good conversation to have now or to ever have with your brother because he wouldn't understand and he would probably make you break up with him. Hux was different with you though he was different when he was around you. Whenever you two were on the bridge at the same time it was less tense and Hux would lose his edge as his heart began to warm when seeing your hair flowing behind you and your smile he adored. Hux said that first time he looked into your eyes he forgot how to breathe because he had never seen something so beautiful.

Kylo sensed this from the first day you decided to work for the Order. He saw Hux grow more kind and he hoped it wasn't due to you or what he was doing with you. Kylo couldn't bear the thought of him touching you and as often as he could would walk you into the bridge himself so that you weren't alone with the General. Kylo saw Hux as an enemy out to take advantage of your innocence. Kylo hated Hux and he hated that Hux had feelings for you even more.

This morning Hux had asked you to attend breakfast with him in the higher rankings area. So of course you said yes because you hardly ever had time alone with him or without your brother standing behind you. So you woke up earlier than usual and dressed in your uniform but curled your hair and threw it into a pony tail so that it sat on your shoulders nicely. You flattened out your uniform once more taking one last glance in the mirror before heading out of the bathroom. Walking towards the front door you felt eyes behind you as you turned to face the brown eyes of your beloved brother.

"You're up early." He stated as though he knew you were going somewhere shirtless with black sweats low on his hips.

"I was invited to breakfast," you smiled gently turning around to the door as it slid open.

"I'll come with you," he said as he grabbed a shirt heading towards the open door but you turned blocking his path. He stopped looking down at you as he rose an eyebrow to your secrecy.

"No...you scare people away," he stood silently as he crossed his arms over his chest not buying anything that you were saying.

Eventually he gave in to your pleads.
"Fine but don't be home late tonight we're having dinner together," he emphasised on the word together to make sure you understood. Then you smiled happily as you stood on your toes giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you," you whispered as the door shut behind you. Once you were gone he chuckled to himself "she must be on a date," he spoke out loud as he slouched into a chair with coffee in his hand.

You quickly made your way down the hall to the eating area of higher ranking officials, walking in. Hux stood abruptly from his chair walking over to you. There was no one else in the room and he looked a little tense.

"I thought you weren't coming," he stated sadly. "I wouldn't miss it," you smiled as he took your hand and led you over to the table pulling out a chair across from him. You two were sitting have a nice meal but of course Kylo's curiosity got the best of him he couldn't take the mystery any longer who the hell were you spending 2-3 mornings with per week. He didn't want to disturb anything, he just had to see. So he walked out the door swiftly as he walked towards the eating chambers diagonally he looked in and the first thing he saw was your pony tail which was fine and then as he walked further he could finally see the opposing face across from yours. It looked like maybe only a few feet from you was the most distinguishable head of red hair laughing at something you had probably said. Kylo was shocked, baffled, furious, confused and terrified all at the same time.

He was shocked that he didn't know about this sooner.
He was baffled because how could you like him.
He was furious because Hux never asked permission.
He was confused because you never talked about Hux to him.
He was terrified that Hux had or would do something bad to you.

And that last thought got to Kylo the most. Kylo was your older brother he was your protecter against enemies and protection from disgusting people like Hux. Apparently he failed you because here you were sitting merely feet from the least appropriate boyfriend in the entire First Order.

Then Kylo imagined a family dinner having to sit at a table with you and Hux talking casually about you twos plans for the future. Hux would nor could ever be part of Kylo's family. You were Kylo's family and that's all he needed.

So after seeing this sight Kylo turned quickly and went back to your chambers. As breakfast finished you thanked Hux for the meal and he escorted you back to your chambers but Kylo was waiting. He could feel both of you approaching. Then you're voices were audible outside of the door as Kylo walked up to the door sliding it open quickly. As you stepped away from the doorway the look on Kylo's face as not good. He was prepared to kill, he was prepared to do something terrible like killing, like killing Hux specifically. You never thought he'd be capable of killing you but the look in his eyes told a different story. Kylo glared at Hux prompting him to take a step back as you stepped in past your brother silently standing behind him but back a few feet.

Kylo glared at Hux and then sent him soaring down the hall hitting the back wall. You gasped quietly hoping he hadn't died from impact as the door slid shut. Kylo still has his back to you as you stayed quiet afraid of what was going to happen next. You took a step back as he turned to face you.

He was angry but his face was emotionless. He walked closer to you taking more and more steps until he was inches from you glaring down at you breathing heavily. You looked up to his eyes afraid of what was gonna happen as Hux banged on the door loudly. He survived.

Kylo grabbed your forearms tightly as he shook you yelling in your face, "how could you do this!!!" You turned your face from him flinching at his closeness closing your eyes afraid to look at him. But he stopped yelling as he let go of you and you fell to your knees in front of him. As you brought your hands up to you face crying silently as your shoulders and back began to shake from the sobbing. Kylo just stared down at you afraid of what he'd just done, you were afraid of him he saw how you looked away. How you feared that he'd hurt you. He never wanted to hurt you, he thought Hux would be the one to do that. But he was actually the one who almost hurt you first.

Then Kylo after reliving the previous moment fell to his knees in front of you not touching you though giving you a moment to calm down.

"You thought I was gonna hit you," you nodded slowly with your face still covered with your hands. "You're afraid of me," he realised as tears came out of his eyes too speaking more to himself now. But you looked up to him through the tears and you knew he could never lay a hand on you. You slowly leaned forward laying your head on his knees needing his comfort. He let out a deep breath relieved you would still trust him enough to touch him. So he scooted closer to you picking you up and hugging your forehead to his chest rubbing your back with his palm and nuzzling his face into your shoulder. "I'm so sorry please don't be afraid of me, I love you sis I love you so much. You're all I have," he said quietly into you're shoulder.

But the touching moment was ended by the door sliding open as Hux barged in with a blaster almost falling on top of you two. Hux just stood there silently watching you two hugging. Kylo lifted his head from your shoulder to look Hux in the eyes still holding you protectively.

"She's my sister," Hux nodded silently to Kylo's rather calm remarks.

"If you don't treat her well I'll kill you."

Hux tried to agree but Kylo kept speaking.

"If you hurt her I'll kill you and if you try anything I mean anything that she doesn't like and I find out about it you will be dealing with much bigger problems than the resistance Hux," Kylo finished as he looked back down at you adoringly.

"Yes sir," Hux replied as he walked out of your chambers. You and your brother sat there for about an hour just holding onto each other and eventually Kylo picked you up and brought you to the couch to take a nap for the rest of the day because Hux didn't expect either of you two at work today.
