Its been forever since you've seen him. You missed him, he was so kind to you, even though when he first met you, he was kinda rude. It wasn't his fault though, he didn't know you were deaf. He must have been yelling "Hey" or something, but you didn't hear because, again, you were deaf. Then he grabbed your shoulder, making you jump, and he was talking to you about something, but you had no idea what he was saying. You signed, hoping he knew sign language, that you couldn't hear him and that you were deaf. To your surprise, he knew sign language and apologized. You smiled and introduced yourself. It was from that point, when you both became really close friends.

His brother, Alphonse, was also really sweet too. Although at a first glance, he can look very intimidating, but once you get to know him, he's super nice. It didn't take long for you all to become friends, but soon, they both had to leave. They were on a journey, and because of your hearing impairment, you stayed in your home town. They promised they'd return soon, so you waited, everyday for them. Specifically Edward because, well in all honesty, you can't lie to yourself, you really liked him. He was so nice to you and he treated you like a normal person, unlike most people who would act like you were a small child that was always in need of assistance.

After about a month, you were outside, just enjoying the sunlight, when you saw a giant suit of armor walking along side a shorter blonde male. Its him! You were so excited. You ran to them with a giant smile on your face, then crashed into Edward with a giant hug. You were so happy to see him, you couldn't help but cry. He must have noticed because he started to rub your back while carrying you back to your house. He set you down and signed 'Hello, (y/n)! How are you?' You smiled and wiped your tears away and replied with, 'I'm good! How are you guys? I missed you both so much!'

They both said that they were doing great and were glad to be back to see you. Hours passed and it was already almost 11:30 PM by the time you all settled down to go to bed. You had them stay at your place. Around 3 AM, you shot up from a nightmare, heart pumping. You dreamt that the brothers only returned to set fire to your house because they wanted to forget all about you. They told you that you were a waste and they would be glad if you were gone. You cried; from even just the small thought of that you would have cried. You saw Edward walk past your door towards the bathroom, but he stopped when he saw you.

'Are you okay?' He signed, with a worried expression on his face. He sat down next to you on your bed and brought you into a hug. You explained the nightmare. He sat there wide eyed. 'My brother and I would never do such a thing, (y/n). You know that right?' He asked. You nodded your head. 'Your incapability to hear is not a handicap, not a burden to us or to anyone for that matter. In fact, I believe, it makes you adorable to be honest.' He explained, making you blush.

'It makes you beautiful.' He signed one last time, before kissing you. Making you wide-eyed and blush even more. You were nervous at first, but then you started kissing back, making him smile. You separated and tightened the hug you both were already in. You both signed 'I love you' to each other before falling asleep in each others arms. The next morning, the brothers said they had to leave again, making you sad once again. But instead o having their usual stuff, they had an extra bag with them. 'But, you're coming with us, because I can't live without you.' Edward signed. You hugged him and kissed his lips. You took your backpack they packed for you from his hands and went with them on their continuous journey.
