Photograph (Turkey x Reader) [Part 2]

2002

"Hey (Y/n)! Say cheese!" You looked at Sadik weirdly as you videoed him instead.

"You have no camera in front of you Sadik." You were now eleven. Sadik was sixteen.

"I do have a camera, in here." He pointed at his head. "Then they slowly travel down here." His finger pointed on his chest.

"Very cheesy." You stick your tongue at him and sighed.

"So, are you ever going to come back?" You asked the Turk as you both walked down the street together towards the playground you both first met at.

It was Sadik's last week in Toronto. He was moving back to Istanbul with his grandmother ever since his parents died in a car crash a few months ago. He wasn't legally an adult yet so he's being sent back to Istanbul.

Sadik seemed happy that he was moving back. He missed his old home, the smell of his grandmother's cooking, the lively household with his cousins, and the beautiful places in his home country. But he would miss one thing. A someone. (Y/n).

"Honestly I don't know sevgilim." He shrugged. "Büyükanne says that I need a break from Canada, warm up a bit back home you know." He smiled.

But he never noticed you about to cry. Of course you wanted him to live happily so you did let your best friend go. Go back to his home sweet home. A place where he grew up before he got here.

Present Day

It's been a long flight, but you were finally here. Istanbul... What do you have in store of (Y/n)?

"(Y/n)!" You looked to another direction to see Sadik.

"Sadik!" You jumped and dragged your suitcase with you.

Sadik gave you a hug by the time you were in front of him. You gave him a hug back and laughed. He broke the hug and gave you a smile. Up close he was taller and handsomer too.

"Look at you! You remind like my Icelandic friend who's all emo!" You rolled your eyes and punched his shoulder playfully. "Just kidding."

"Look at you, you're about to become a bachelor next year." You teased as he rolled his eyes.

"Very funny (Y/n)." You giggled. "Anyways, welcome to Istanbul!"

You smiled and laughed. He helped you with your bags and somehow got it strapped on his motorcycle.

The scenery of Istanbul was beautiful. You thank Sadik for teaching you how to avoid a jet lag. If he didn't then you wouldn't have seen this beautiful scene on your first day.

You couldn't help, but take a time-lapse video with your GoPro.

"You never changed haven't you?" He commented as you looked at him.

"It's a habit you know."

"Your habit when you're about to plan world domination." He chuckled as he made a turn. "Also be careful, you might let go of that precious camera of yours."

"That's why there's a strap around my wrist and why I'm holding on to your vehicle Mr. Adnan."

"Why don't you hold on to me then? You'd be safer." He whined.

"How can I fall when I'm sitting on my suitcase with my legs clipping on my suitcase and I'm holding on to the seat." You asked.

"Do you want to fall backwards?"

"Of course not-"

Then the motorcycle ran over a rock, or something, that almost made you lose your balance. You grabbed onto Sadik's torso with your free arm as he laughed.

"Shut up." You groaned hitting your forehead on his back.

The trip to his house wasn't that long. His house wasn't really extravagant, but it looked so cozy and it fitted his love for his culture.

"I swear that this is my aesthetic on Tumblr and Pinterest when I'm not on the dark side of the internet." You confessed as he led you inside.

The hanging glass lamps were colorful, the kilim and reagan rugs around had beautiful patterns, the air smelled like spices as if someone just had recently cooked here, the walls were creatively painted with patterns, and the dinning room had a canopy over it.

"Büyükanne over did the decorations when I moved in here a few years back." He chuckled. "She loves to overdecorate my house and came here last week to change the canopies."

"How is she anyways?" You asked as your eyes sparkled from the colors of the lights.

"Still strong for her age, she says that you sound wonderful and she would like to meet you."

"Aww, you told your grandma about me." You cooed as he ruffled your hair.

You laughed heartily and picked up your duffel bag. He led you to your room upstairs. You smiled at the simplistic design you've always loved. Nothing extravagant, but just something simple and spacious enough to move around. There was a canopy over the room too that had lots of different colors. The twin-sized bed had beautiful sheets, a small study area near a socket, a small vanity dresser that was made out of Cyprus tree, and a balcony that showed you a view of the Blue Mosque.

"I'll leave you to your things now, I have to get in contact with my boss first."

"Yeah, I'll fix up first."

He left you at your room as you dragged in your suitcase towards a corner and dropped your duffel bag there. You took your backpack off and grabbed your laptop, and began to work on the video you've made a while ago.

You wanted to kill your time with work if Sadik was ever going to work today.

Ironically he was a photographer for some travel magazine that seemed fine. Now you know the reason why he told you that he knew people and places. He worked for a big company who gives his budget for his travel expenses.

"Good news, I can show you around today!"

You swiveled your chair towards him and filmed his reaction.

"Where are we going then?" You asked him as he gave out a boisterous laughter.

"To the Grand Bazaar for a proper breakfast!"

"Yes!" You jumped out of your seat and raised your hands up in the sky with your camera on your right hand.

"FOOD!"

You cheered and zoomed in the camera at him more.

"Hello world and welcome to (Y/n)'s wonderful movie!"

You laughed and swung your arm over his shoulder.

"To the bazaar!"

"Forward march!"

Sorry if this was so short, but I guess that this will have more parts than any other one-shot xD
Auf Wiedershen for now!
