Though it's true that the betrayal she had experienced had come to pass in this very home just when she thought she had it all. So maybe she had a good reason to act like this was not her home maybe this was her way of trying to cope maybe. Maybe this is a way of showing us that nothing is perfect and bad things happen. But maybe it's not Maybe this is a way of showing that pain truly is more powerful than love because this same women went on to do some incredible things and she lives on in our hearts as the woman that was horribly betrayed but chose to remain classy, keep her calm and change the world. This woman's name was Elizabeth Schuyler. She had every right to go and scream at Hamilton but instead she chose to not say anything, forgave Hamilton. She helped his and the people he fought with live on. She started orphanages in New York. She helped fund the Washington monument. Eliza chose to forgive and move on. She let her pain and Grief inspire exquisite ideas that changed our country for the better
