The whole place was full of strobes and loud music; the place was packed. Laff was wondering through the club, he had come to drink and nothing else but to get out of his mind. Peggy had come to have a good time; she was sitting at the bar ordering a drink. Laff saw her, but he didn't truly see her, he walked over and ordered a drink when the girl he didn't know turned to her. She didn't look drunk.
"Hello, you here alone," she asked.
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"You look lonely, would you do me the pleasure and dance with me?"
Laff didn't see why not, he didn't think it would cause any harm, so he agreed and they stepped out on the floor. Once they started to dance laff felt a weight come off his shoulders, he felt happy something he hadn't had in a long time. The night continued, they kept drinking, Peggy was much drunker than he was, she ran out of the place and laff knew that she was going to throw up, he ran after her. The feelings he was having was too much to let her go. He found her outside throwing up, he steped forward and gently held her hair and rubbed her back. After a little bit she turned to him and smiled. She hadn't had this much fun in a long time, and with another person not in a very long time. Her face lit up the dark road, he looked at her and without hesitation pulled her closer to his chest. He didn't want to let her go, she wanted him to stay with her and come back to her place with her. He agreed but only to make sure she slept, laff couldn't image his life without her now, he felt like he had known her all his life. They made sure that they stayed in contact, every time he read a text or heard her voice he fell more in love with her. He had loved her from the beginning, everything was stronger, his love, her smile. He didn't tell her that until two years later, he didn't want to mess up the best thing he had ever had. He couldn't keep it inside anymore. Peggy had fallen for him a little after he had, she loved his personality, his humor, his smile.

"Peggy, I can't keep it from you anymore, I love you I have since the day we met, it didn't matter that I was drunk, you made me feel something I had never had before, I feel that every day I think about you, I didn't want to let you go that's why I didn't tell you earlier , I didn't want to give it a change for fear it wouldn't work out, but I can't keep this up, I love you I want to be with you," Laff spoke with raw passion. Peggy didn't say anything she just kissed him and in the next year they got married. In laff's vows he promised to never let her go, he would always be there for her like she was for him, nothing would never get him to leave, no fight or problem. He told her that nothing could top her, not even the most expensive thing in the world because their love was priceless They walked away from the wedding and they didn't go on a honeymoon, they didn't need it they just needed each other.

A year later

Peggy came into the kitchen where laff was making a breakfast to surprise her.

"Lafayette, we are going to have a kid," She smiled and he turned and picked her up, they danced around the room. Laff was so happy with her he didn't need anything else. Peggy knew this was the best thing she had, she couldn't wait to share her wonderful life with a little child. 23 years later as they pulled into the collage and dropped off their now young man. Everything moved so quick but they wouldn't change it for the world. Laff he held Peggy close to him.

"Just don't let me go,"peggy spoke to him and the son they had raised togeather waved one last time before he walked in. peggy broke down in tears, she could bare the fact that her son was leaving. Laff held her close, whispering to her, that he wont let go of her, ever. Many more years later they both were getting older, they both spent that year living in the time they had left. They slowly faded out, walking into the sunset at dawn with their hands in eachother. They spent the rest of there lifes together in a world that was free of pain
