"Broken" Alarm Clock (LOZ: TP)
"Oh gosh... An invitation to Hyrule Castle... This is something BIG, King!" LilyBlizz panicked. "BIG!!!!"
The girl looked over and chuckled at her jittery friend as she continued to nervously play around with her fingers and rubbing her shirt together.
"Calm down... It's probably just a banquet or something," she replied giggling. "But it seems as though we're staying at the castle for more than a day this time. Maybe because of... That."
The girl with glasses gulped and nodded as she tookd a deep breath to calm herself down. She was never really good at formal invitations let alone an invitation to stay for at least three days at a castle from royal. When she first saw the letter, her brown eyes buldged out of her head from surprise and got her screaming through the tiny cottage in which she lived in at the quiet village of Ordon. She was probably as loud as Link was with his battle cries when he valiantly fought against enemies that decided to pay her and everyone else there a visit.
Due to the screaming, UnlikelyKing was notified that her friend had also gotten an invitation from Princess Zelda of Hyrule herself. Not that it was uncalled for if she got an invitation from the running mailman they always see.
They were now both on horses traveling down through Faron woods and Hyrule Field to get to the castle. Link wasn't with them this time around since he's been venturing around the land ever since he was deemed hero of the place. No shock there either. They were sure he was going to return to ranching after all the shenanigan and excitement was worn out. Well that was if he wasn't recruited by the princess.
"Even though Link passed by this area so many times... Chu jellies and plenty of goblins are still around," UnlikelyKing said as she pulled out a sword and made her way through.
Pulling out a bow, LilyBlizz sighed and nodded in agreement as she kept sky high enemies away from them in return of King ridding the ground enemies. It was going to take a while for them to get to their destination.
"I wish Link was hereeeee...." complained LilyBlizz as the two sped to safety.
"We'll get there in no time! Don't worry!"
That was completely a lie. The girls eventually made it to the castle town very late at night with their hairs and clothes disheveled from the long delayed travel. There were no more enemies following them anymore thank goodness.
"Okay.. To the castle now..." LilyBlizz said in a quiet tone.
They were both really tired at the moment and were hoping for some rest once they got to Hyrule Castle. Everyone there were probably already asleep though-- or so they believed to be.
"Man.. I need a bath.." commented UnlikelyKing.
"I do too actually..."
The two brought their steeds to a trot as they passed through the now quiet town for it has gotten really late for them to make a sound. The moon was hanging high in the dark night sky, acting as their only light source to find their way through the area safely and silently. Eventually, two guards standing at the castle gate were brought into view, awake and alerted as they approached.
"Do not fret. We're friends with Her Highness, Zelda," LilyBlizz said sleepily as she held up their signed invitations.
The guards were brought into the state of relaxation while the girls quietly entered the castle grounds to let their steed rest up during their stay. The giant doors to the hall of the castle were opened by two other guards working there, allowing both UnlikelyKing and LilyBlizz enter freely, but of course, not without watch and escort.
"Thank you," UnlikelyKing said with a smile.
The man nodded and left them be in the throne room with the princess seated gracefully and poised on her decorated giant throne in the spacious room. She was still in her white and purple dress that had beguiling gold patterns, only seen up close. The girls respectfully knelt down before her, their heads hanging down with calm smiles on their faces as they did so.
"You must be very tired from such a trip to the castle. My apologies.." she said.
Her soft voice complimented her stunning looks very well, completely fit for the appearance of a high and mighty princess.
"Do not worry. We can't say that we aren't, your highness, but we most certainly aren't going to complain about it," UnlikelyKing told her.
LilyBlizz was now nodding off into sleep as her eyes fluttered closed. Her will wasn't allowing her to sleep however.
"Your rooms have been setted up for the both of you," the princess told them, looking at the guard nearby.
With a quick salute, the man walked off and led the two off so that they could get ready and go sleep. She was going to head off to bed as well now that she was aware everyone was there.
"These will be your rooms for the stay. Please make yourself at home," said the guard.
With a smile, he walked off back to his position with both UnlikelyKing and LilyBlizz waving him off.
"Good night, sir..!" they called.
"I'm beat.... I'll go wash up and just go to sleep.." yawned the girl with black hair.
Giggling, UnlikelyKing ruffled up her friend's hair and nodded.
"I'll see you tomorrow then. Good night, Lily."
"G'nightttttttt...."

Crash! Was it already the morning? LilyBlizz groaned as she got up to check for the sun. It was certainly dark outside and the moon was still there. It's too early to get up! She silently sighed as she got herself comfortable in bed again and closed her eyes to fall aslee-
"HAH!"
Now what?!
"Dear lord in the heavens- LINK!" the girl screamed in a whispering tone.
The young man look over at her blankly, guilty of holding a brown pot in his hands and above his head.
"Put that down, right now!" she hissed again.
Link, doing what he was told to do, gently set the pot down which allowed her to relax a little. But as soon as he did so, he decided to do something a little extra.
"No, no, no, no, no! NOT THE SWORD EI-"
"HIYAH!"
"-ther..." LilyBlizz said, slapping her own forehead with a "SMACK". "I swear how does one deal with a person like you..? I don't need a hylian alarm clock to wake me up this early...!"
The teen shrugged as he collected the rupees and other contents that spilled out the broken pots before walking out her room for a brief moment.
"Hragh!"
Another scream was heard.
"Oh dear.."
LilyBlizz got out of bed to check on UnlikelyKing who was also not in such a good mood that fine.... Night? Early morning? They couldn't even tell at the moment.
"I said no swords!" she called quietly as she walked over.
"Link! We're trying to sleep!" UnlikelyKing told him.
Smiling apologetically, the hero tried to do it a little quieter.
"Hm...!"
Oh his love for pots... His worst enemies...
LilyBlizz decided to go back to bed, knowing it wasn't going to end anytime soon. In fact, the pots that were broken in her room earlier were suddenly back to normal again. Respawning pots. Great! Very great.
Link returned back to her room again to break the pots once more, much to her dismay. A few days spending time with the hero in Hyrule Castle always meant pot breaking time nearly all night long. Why the nighttime? Because they are busy with Zelda with whatever she had in hand for the town when the sun is up.
"Hiyah..!"
"Yelling quietly isn't going to do you any good!"

Morning decided to kick in hours later, but it really did feel like a full day. The two didn't get more than a wink of sleep and were still very tired. Link yawned a little, but he still seemed energetic surprisingly enough. Heck, LilyBlizz had to call UnlikelyKing over to her room to pounce and wrestle the teen down for him to go quiet, but of course, that didn't work.
"How was.. your night, King...?" LilyBlizz asked in a slurred tone.
"Oh just dandy..." she yawned. "And you..?"
"Stupendous.."
The two then moaned when they realized they needed to spend a few more days here. Maybe that was the point for the princess to offer them. Good thinking.
That very night was no different to the last.
"HIYAH!"
A bunch of loud crashes.
"..."
"Hmph!"
There goes another pot.
"Link...."
And the very next night...
"HRAGH!"
"For gods' sake...!"
Eventually their time there was finally up. No way are they going to spend another night with the Hylian hero no matter how cool or good looking he possibly could be in a single month or more. Just no more pots!
"Thank you for having us over, your highness. We shall be going now," UnlikelyKing said.
They really wanted to go. Zelda smiled and nodded a little as she waved them off.
"Have a safe trip back," she excused them.
The two girls walked off and once they were out of sight, took off to get on their horses. They looked like zombies from the lack of sleep there.
"I don't need a malfunctioning alarm clock in my room...!" LilyBlizz claimed as she got on her horse and sped off.
"Question is.. HOW DID NO ONE HEAR HIM YELL BATTLE CRIES AND BREAK THINGS?!" UnlikelyKing asked.
In all truth, they all had earplugs to begin with, a lesson well learned, and not them.
