Robin sobbed in his cell.Slade had taken him not to long ago,beaten him,sexually and physically.Mentally and tragically.It all went down hill for the team.Once a mission turned into a tragdy.Robin had been captured and taken.

Never to see the light of day again.

He was alone.Left to rot in the dark that it was.Left to suffer through all the pain he's been in for the last...how long had it been?He couldn't remember.He didn't even know if it was day or night.

Robin sat up with red tear tracks beaming down his face once he heard grunting and yelling outside the cell walls.He went over and tried to get as close to the wall as possible,the restraints on his arm made it so it was hard.

He got close to the wall and could hear screaming.He winced once the man screamed in pure AGONY.He recognized the voice.The voice he had been hearing in his ear for the last pure days of torture.

Slade.

Robin's heart started beating faster.Had his teammates come to rescue him?He looked down at the ground wide eyed,breathing hard.He looked to the cell metal bars and prayed with all his might that this wasn't another illusion.

(Slade had put fake rescue attempts in his mind for torture)

Robin's eye's closed and he prayed,trying to put his hands together he mumbled."Please...PLEASE lord...please...let them come and save me..."He kept saying that sentence over and over again until he heard panting and saw a streak of red and yellow in the center of his room.

Wally.

He wanted to scream in joy as the rest of his teammates entered the room.He felt the hot tears he had remembered so clearly build up in his eye's again.He tried putting a hand over his mouth but the restraints made him unable to do so.

"DICK!"Wally rushed over and pulled his friend into a hug and scooped him up.

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!! WE FOUND YOU!"Robin felt wet tears on his shoulder where Wally sobbed.His legs started shaking,he doubted this was real,it was to much like the other illusions.

Little did he know,that he was saved.

Robin pushed Wally off of him slowly and Wally looked at him,puzzled."Whats wrong!?I'm so happy we found you!"He realized the rest of the team was just staring.

This wasn't real.

Robin started crying again.

Wally tried hugging him again but Robin shook his head pushed him back gently."NO!NO!NO! STOP SLADE! I'M SICK OF ILLUSIONS!"Wally's eyes widened.

"Rob...do you think this is all...fake..?"

"IT IS FAKE!"

Robin's tears dropped to the floor and he pulled Wally in for another hug."GOD KF! I WISH YOU WERE REAL! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!I MISS ROY! I MISS CONNER! I MISS AQUALAD! I MISS MEGAN! I MISS ZATANNA! I MISS YOU ALL!! PLEASE JUST COME AND SAVE ME! I CAN'T LIVE IN THIS HELL ANY LONGER!"He sobbed louder and Wally hugged him tightly.

"Rob..were real..."

"NO YOUR NOT! STOP! I'LL BE GOOD SLADE! PLEASE! I'LL-I'LL USE MY MOUTH! I'LL BE GOOD! YOU LIKE IT WHEN I USE MY MOUTH!"

His screams could almost break the glass if there were any in the room,meanwhile,Wally and the rest of the team stared at him in disbelief.What had Slade done to him?

Wally clenched around Robin,making the younger boy gasp.Wally took one of his hands in his own and guided them to his chest,where his heart beat loudly.

He was going to PROVE to him that this was real.

Wally put Robin's hand on his chest.Robin's eye's instantly shot wide when he felt a beating heart.Wally smiled.

"Y'see Rob?I'm real...Aqualad's real...Artemis is real...Conner's real..Megan's real...Roy's real...Zatanna's real..."He looked at his eye's that shone bright blue in the darkness that surrounded them.

"I'm real..."

Robin burst into tears once more and fell to the floor,only to be caught by Wally.They laid there,crying and sobbing,while Robin's sobs echoed around the room,Wally's tears went down his cheeks quietly.

Wally turned his head around to face the rest of the team."Let's head home..Radio Bats and tell him we found him.."

Batman rushed over to the cave's entrance.They found him.They REALLY found him.He ran to where the bio-ship normally rested and he waited.Not even 3 minutes until the ship landed peacefully.He couldn't wait to see his Robin again.

The team walked out and Wally ran over to him,holding Robin's sleeping form in his arms.Batman's eye's widened behind the mask.He looked TERRIBLE.Okay,that was an understatement. 

He looked like SHIT.

Wally nudged Robin a bit."Rob..wake up...look..."Robin's blue eye's opened and widened once he saw his mentor,his father,his friend.His life.

Robin jumped out of Wally's arms and into his mentor's.Batman and him fell to the floor in tears.They were reunited once more.

Robin cried loudly and tried to grasp anything he could of his mentor.His cape,his cowl,his symbol.He wanted everything.He NEEDED everything.So that he could be reminded of the happiness that had left him so long ago.

The team smiled at the two.They looked so HAPPY again.A the while Robin had been gone,Batman was meaner than usual.He wouldn't talk to any of them without yelling.He didn't go easy on them during training,he was a down right BRAT.But now...they could mend the bridges that had been knocked down.

They could start over.
