Jangie
Janus x Angie (Beth where you be 😉) (Ship name- Jangie)
Angie walked down the street towards her newest tinder date. She pretended it didn't get to her that everyone else seemed to have found love while she was still alone. She had had a few flings in high school, one long term girlfriend in 11th grade after she came out as bi, but nothing has stuck like she had wanted it to. She looked down at her outfit. Damn it Beth, why didn't you let me wear the blue shirt! She thought to herself. But all the same, she loved her friend dearly, and had listened to her. So what was this guys name again? Adam? Henry? Oh that's right, Benjamin. Lived on Avenue A or something. What ever. She finally arrived at the bar and sat down, noticing a boy with longish brown hair in the corner chatting with the bartender. And brown eyes. Holy hell he was cute! She smiled and waved and went back to her own world, waiting for her date to show.
Three hours and four virgin margaritas later she was still alone.
"Angie?" She heard a familiar voice call.
"Aaron. It's you." She gritted her teeth and grinned. The tall man sneered.
"Haven't seen you since the wedding. You were without a date I believe?" Aaron was talking about Angie's cousin Mika. She had been the only adult cousin without anyone.
"I'm actually here on a date Aaron so if you could just leave." Angie spat.
"Really? Who's the lucky girl? Or are you straight again?"
Angie's cheeks flushed a bright red. "I'm Bisexual Aaron."
Across the bar, the brown haired boy looked over at the pixie haired girl. The boy, Janus, stood up silently and walked into the bathroom then walked back out, but not before listening a little longer to find out the girls name, he hadn't heard it.
"Angie, we both know this is all just for attention." Aaron said in a serious tone.
"Angie I'm so sorry I took so long," Janus said as he sat down. Angie looked at him confused.
"Yeah what took you so long?" Angie asked in a barely believable voice. And in her head she thought, what took you so long to make your way into my life? She studied his eyes, she'd always been good at reading people. His face was kind, and so she went along with it.
"I slipped on the wet floor," He obviously lied. He planted a small kiss on her forehead. It was tender and short, but it left a buzzing feeling Angie couldn't ignore. Janus stood to shake Aaron's hand. "I'm Janus, Angie's boyfriend. I over heard you talking to her? Don't talk to my girlfriend like that. Or anyone like that. Get out." Janus pointed at the door and Aaron scurried out.
"Thanks Janus." Angie said through giggles.
"Anytime."
