I know this is bad, there was a first draft that Alpaca and me worked on, then I couldn't sleep and started writing this. Enjoy!

Percy and Jason were complicated to say the least. At first glance it might seem that the two wouldn't like each other, as they were similar in many ways. They were well respected by those around them, got thrown around by the gods a lot, hid insecurities so they could lead, and also both were bisexual. Of course that last one was decently common amongst those at Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter with Annabeth and Piper, Jason and Percy's girlfriends, were also bi, along With Will Solace (and most of the apollo cabin with the rest being gay or being the one that was an asexual-aromatic) But it was another shared trait between the two none the less.

Sometimes they were rivals, other times saying "Bro" more times than should be considered normal, but behind closed doors was a different story.

Behind closed doors, usually in Cabin three, they were just two demigods. Behind closed doors they were just two demigods slowly falling in love with each other, and the others' smiles, and soft yet scarred skin. Behind closed doors they were just two demigods that kissed one minute and made fun of each other the next. Behind closed doors they were just two demigods that cuddled under blankets with flashlights and whispered stories from their childhoods to each other deep into the night.

But it couldn't stay that way. They both knew it. They both had girlfriends. Ones that they loved and that loved them back. They didn't know what to do-

"Percy! Jason! Come quick!" Another demigod in a orange shirt yelled running up towards the pair. "It's Piper and Annabeth." She said as she bend over to catch her breath.

"What about them?" Jason asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"They weren't able to make it back from New Rome."

According to the only surviving demigod from the group. A monster attacked the van on one of the roads they were on. They were a few miles away from New York when someone had seen a monster coming up on them. The van sped up in an attempt to outrun it but that didn't work. It knocked over the van. Piper, Annabeth, and one of the others on the trip went out of the van to fight it and got over powered. It didn't notice them and left, possibly assuming that the demigod smell remaining was just the bodies left over. The others were dead before they could do anything about it. They walked to New York and took some busses to get near Camp and walked the rest of the way. Camp Half-Blood sent a group to retrieve their bodies for a proper burial.

Now, behind closed doors, they were just two demigods mourning the loss of friends as now lovers. Although they never wanted to be together because of this.

Is this terrible and sad? Of course!
Am I proud of it? Of course not!
Is it something I've imagined since I heard Jercy was a ship? Yes!
