Her name was (Y/N) and She walked around camp silently as though she were meant to be there. She was the queen of thieves as everyone- minus the Stoll brothers- called her. She was the best thief in the entire camp. She stole everything from everyone at least once, including my affections. I sighed softly as I watched her get into trouble again, she hadn't been claimed yet we all knew she had to be the daughter of Hermes. I quietly followed her through camp, using shadows to hide myself.

"Yo. Quit following me punk. Either that or get out of the shadows." She said crossing her arms as she turned and looked directly at me. I held my breath for a second before I shadow traveled to my cabin.

"Dam...." I mumbled. "She saw me..." I said as I laid back on my bed. I don't know what it was about her but I liked her a lot. Maybe it was because she was beautiful? Maybe it was because she's smart. Maybe it's cause I'm an idiot.

"You are an idiot." She said as she stood in my doorway, making me jump about ten feet.

"Wait what?" I asked. She smiled softly before she shook her head.

"You were thinking out loud, plus you failed to realize that I was heading to your cabin." She laughed.

"Oh." I said I could feel the blush on my face as I looked down. It had been a long time since I had felt like this and I couldn't tell if it was embarrassment or I was just an idiot. She walked over to me and lifted up my chin, her sparkling (e/c) eyes looking directly into my own. She moved my face from one side to the other before she smiled.

"Though, I'll admit. You're not that bad looking, but you should at least take a girl on a date before you start following her." She said. She leaned back slightly and before I even knew what I was doing, I kissed her. She hesitantly kissed back, although it seemed as though neither one of us exactly knew what we were doing. Eventually we pulled away, both blushing hard until I heard Percy yell.

"LOOK DEATH BOYS GOTTA GIRLFRIEND!"

Then there were lots of people trying to get into my cabin.

"Told you he'd get with the Queen of thieves!"

"Still though. He isn't that cute, she could find someone so much better." That's when she punched the poor guy in the face. I heard a crack as the guys nose was probably broken.

"Say that again I dare you." She said. I had never seen her so angry before, then it happened. She was claimed and not by the God we thought would claim her. She was a child of Ares. "What's the matter?" She asked after she calmed down, then she looked above her.

"Oh... Cool. Now get out! It's almost time for dinner and I wanna eat!" She yelled before she smiled back at me. "Come on Death boy, that means you too." I smiled and followed her quietly, she dragged me over to her new table, all of which were happily giving her pats on the back and giving me looks,almost like they didn't trust me with their newfound sister. I frowned slightly. Of course they didn't like me, I was a son of Hades, why would they like.

"Hey Nico...." She said. She was looking down and blushing slightly, I was slightly surprised she even knew my name.

"Yeah (Y/N)?" I asked.

"Sorry about earlier. I just.... I used to have a crush on you when you first came and then when you left and I noticed you following me every now and again, well... I didn't know how to react. I noticed between some of the Aphrodite girls and Clarise how they acted and some of them were flirty by batting their eyelashes but that was weird and oh God's I'm rambling. I'm sorry." She said blushing more and hiding her face in her hands. Maybe she wasn't as tough as everyone led her out to be. I let out a small smile and reached over, taking one of her surprisingly soft hands into mine.

"It's alright. I didn't even know how to act." I said. She looked over at me for a second before I leaned over and kissed her cheek.

"GET SOME DEATH BOY!!!" I frowned and glared daggers at Leo and Jason who just had to say that.
