She discreetly rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time that day- watching the couple before her become a couple and do couple things, such as flirt, was the most irritating thing to her; especially because she liked him. But now that he's dating her, she couldn't really do much but back away into the corner.

Somehow, she was convinced to join them to go to the mall along with Reiner in hopes of getting them to date each other. They were only friends, not to be confused as lovers.

"Do you want to split?" he asked her. She didn't remove her eyes from the couple in front, holding hands and laughing. "I kinda don't want to be a thirdwheel and you don't look like you're having the time of your life."

"Yeah, let's go eat some food, I'm getting hungry from all this," she waved her hand around pointing to the couple infront.

He agreed and called out to them, "Hey, Mikasa, Eren, we're going to leave you two. We want to eat."

Mikasa's eyes went bright, "Oh, that's great! You two hang out, we'll see you later. Don't get into too much trouble." she sounded like a mother.

"Have fun you two," Eren added. Mikasa grabbed Eren's hands and continued to walk away, waving back at them. Damn it.

She couldn't stop thinking about them; she almost felt bad for Reiner for having to put up with her disingenuous responses.

"Sorry about those two having to bring you out here," she finally remarked wholeheartedly.

"It's fine, I'm not having a bad time right now to be quite honest. But you on the other hand... not so much." he bit out of his burger.

"Sorry, it's just the whole dating thing between them. Still trying to get it used to my system, since, you know-" she played with her fries, trying to place them in order of shortest to longest.

"Yeah, you like him." he cut her off.She wasn't even trying to hide her jealousy anymore. "Trust me, you'll get over it. If not now, then soon." he was right, but soon is so far away. Now, I'm not over it. She looked away. Only if there was a way she could make Eren jealous.

"Date me." she blurted out of the blue, startling him and nearly making him choke on his own food.

"What?" he asked through his coughing fit.

"Only for a few weeks. We aren't really going to date... I just want to make him feel how I feel." she ate a fry.

There was a long pause before he responded.

"Well I totally don't feel like I'm being used." he sarcastically remarked. "But, if it's only for a few weeks, and as long as it wont hurt anyone... then fine. But you owe me for this. I usually won't agree to this kind of stuff, but I know you would pester me into it." he pointed at her, easily falling into submission.

"Yes! Thankyouthankyouthankyou, you're the best, Reiner." she cheered to which he rolled his eyes to.

"What happens if they find out we're not actually dating?" he played with the straw on his drink, his head propped onto the other hand.

"They aren't going to find out, we'll just say we started dating today and stuff. We'll make it up along the way." she ate the last of her fries.

"Hey guys!" Eren waved as he and Mikasa approached the "couple" whose hands were intertwined. She squeezed Reiner's hands, reminding him of their plan.

"Hi Eren, hey Mikasa." they both greeted.

"So, you two?" Mikasa happily asked as if her wishes had come true.

They both looked at each other and smiled. "Yeah, for two weeks." she wrapped her arm around his waist and pulled him closer, leaning into him.

"That's great, I knew you two would be great together!" Mikasa clasped her hands together.

"Congratulations, you two." Eren smiled.

"Thanks," Reiner replied as he rubbed her arm. For some strange reason, this made her face heat up a little- it was the first time she's felt such an affectionate touch.

"Well, let's go on the rides. I want to check out the largest rollercoaster." Eren's face turned pale upon Mikasa's request. Riding large rollercoasters wasn't his thing.

Both Reiner and Mikasa fearlessly went on the rollercoaster while (y/n) and Eren waited for them on the ground, she insisted on staying so she could be alone with him. As much as she wanted to avoid it, she felt awkward. Countless minutes passed, only having small talk. She realized that she should have gone on the coaster instead.

"I didn't know about you and Reiner," Eren spoke while his eyes trailed the rollercoaster passing by, making conversation.

"Yeah, well.." she responded obscurely, trying to evade the oncoming conversation of how "they" started.

"He's a great guy, (y/n). I'm glad you chose him so I wouldn't have to stress out about you getting potentially heartbroken or hurt or anything like that." he put his hands inside his pockets and started swaying back and forth.

"Thanks," she replied, thinking that if she'd dated him, he wouldn't have to worry at all.

"We're back!" Reiner waved, "I wish you were there with me, it was so fun!" he came up to her and held her hand.

Her ears suddenly felt warmer,"Y-yeah, I'll go with you the next time we get on a coaster." she looked away. We're only pretending. Her hands began to feel clammy under his hold.

"Where should we go next?" Reiner asked her.

"How about the haunted house?" Eren suggested the typical haunted house; the place in which guys can hold on to the deathly scared girls, or vice versa.

"Sure," Mikasa agreed, looking at her and Reiner for approval.

"Uh, I kinda want to try out the other rollercoaster." she replied. She wasn't too fond of haunted houses, escpecially the clowns.

"I'll go on the rollercoaster with you." Reiner suggested. She looked at him and nodded.

"Yeah, we'll see you guys back here after we're done the ride, so we can eat." she added.

"Okay, we'll see you guys later." Mikasa replied, walking away with Eren towards the haunted house.

The line of the rollercoaster was endless, moving about 20 people every 10 minutes.

"Hey, do you mind if you save our spot in the line for a few minutes? I gotta use the washroom." he pointed behind him.

"Yeah, I don't mind." she replied and he left for the bathroom.

"Excuse me, miss?" she was tapped by a stranger a few minutes after, "Are you alone? I can keep you company." he asked, getting closer to her.

"No, I actually have a friend with me, but thanks for the offer." she calmly stated, hoping not to cause a scene in the line.

"No need to lie. I can stay here with you. What's your name?" he wrapped his arm around her, making her nearly puke- the pungent smell of his perfume was revolting. She pushed him away and he pulled her in closer as a result, nearly asphyxiating her.

"Get off me, you shit."

"That's not a very nice way to talk to people," he talked to her like she was a five year old, now she was getting irritated.

"Get the fuck off of me," she pried him off.

"Come on, sweetheart." he continued to hold of to her, despite her retaliation.

"Is there a problem here, babe?" she turned around to see Reiner, calmly assessing the situation. Her heart skipped a beat. He pulled her away from the man. "Is he bothering you?" he asked, pointing at the man. She nodded.

"Yeah, he grabbed me and stuff." she gestured, mimicking him. Reiner glared at the man who was, at this point, slightly petrified at the thought of having to fight him.

"Hey, look. I get my girlfriend is cute and all, but I'm gonna need you to stop touching her, alright? It's pretty rude and evasive of you. I really don't want to cause a scene." her face turned completely red. He called me cute.

The man left in fear of getting his ego deflated by someone who was much more built than he was.

"You okay, (y/n)?" Reiner asked. She refused to look at him, embarrassed by the colour her face produced.

With that, she nodded and tried to suppress her blush, "Thanks, Reiner."

"You didn't have to drop me home," she reminded him as they walked down the street to her house.

"It's fine. Plus, after what happened to you today, I don't know if I can leave you to walk alone." he squeezed her hand. She didn't know why they were still holding hands, nor did she want to let go. She didn't even want this walk that they both had to her house to end.

"Thanks for today, I really had fun." she stated, stopping right at her porch.

"I enjoyed today too, (y/n)." he replied.

"I'll see you later," she waved him goodbye.

"Okay, see you." he started walking away.

"Wait," she stopped him. She was unsure why, but she did. She didn't want him to take another step away. He turned back around towards her. "Aren't people who are dating... supposed to.. kiss each other before they leave...?" she looked away, hoping to avoid his gaze. "I know we're pretending... but you know... just incase."

He smiled and walked right up to her. "Right."

She felt her heart beat faster as he stepped closer, pulling her in, feeling his hand around the small of her back. She rested her hand on his waist, and he lightly caressed her cheeks, making her lean in closer, feeling his warm breath under her lips. She gave him a light peck on the cheek, to which he chased back with his lips crushing onto hers. She kissed back, lightly licking his bottom lip, she could no longer contain herself. Her heart beat even faster. She didn't know why she felt that way, they were only pretending, but she knew she wanted more.

"Ah, okay. Reiner." she stopped herself, pulling away. "We don't have to pretend to date anymore. It's just... I feel like you could be doing more things than to pretend to date me to make Eren jealous. Today I saw how protective you were of me and I'm not even really your girlfriend, and you called me cute..." she muttered the last sentence, "I had so much fun today that I forgot about Eren most of the time. I actually felt like I was dating you. And I just thought that you deserve to have a girlfriend who won't use you for this kind of stupid stuff. Sorry for using you, Reiner. I'll tell them the truth tomorrow." her voice turned quieter and her head dropped to the floor.

"You're just like Eren, you know that?" he told her. "You just don't see the things infront of you sometimes. The reason I agreed to this stuff was so I could experience dating you, even if it was for a while and even if it wasn't real. I was actually kinda happy when you asked me to date you."

She bit her lip and looked up at him. "What?"

"I like you, (y/n). I always have." he held her hands. "But thank you for considering me."

Her face flushed red. "I honestly thought I liked Eren, today proved me wrong." she muttered, still not wanting to look at him.

He smiled at her, "You owe me still." he reminded, "remember when I made the deal with you?" he crossed his arms.

"Okay," she sighed, "what do you want?" despite the fact that whatever she might be bringing herself into, nothing could ever amount to the stupidity she brought him into.

He started stroking his chin, thinking of what he wanted. He raised a finger and chuckled.

"Date me. For real this time."
