It's just another boring school day as you trudge in the quiet hallways, yawning. You woke up late since you stayed up until 3 in the morning reading fanfictions.

"I regret nothing." You mumble, letting out another yawn. "No regrets.."

"There's a handwritten note pressed in the door of her screened in porch
And I am sailing away recalling that day miles from shore
She was still wearing white and robins egg blue, Her grandmother's dress
When I left home early this year, how I wound up here is anyone's guess

You stop near the music room and decide to listen to the boy singing.

"Wow.." You slowly open the door and peek inside. "Eh, where's he?"

A face appears in front of you as you yelp in surprise and step back quickly.

He opens the door and smiles, "Hey (Y/N)."

"(C/N)?" You blink a couple of times.

"Were you spying on me..?" He questions, squinting his eyes.

Blushing, you mumble "N-No! It's just I was walking and heard someone singing. Your singing is.. really good.."

He smiles, blushing a bit. "Thanks! That's actually the first time someone said that to me.. did you like the song itself..?"

You nod, "Yeah, it was good!"

"Really? I uh, actually wrote it myself.." He runs a hand through his hair and chuckles. "I mean, it isn't the best I've written but.."

"You really wrote that yourself? I think it's amazing!" You smile.

"Well, there's still a bit of time left before first period starts. I can show you the other songs I've written.. b-but it's fine if you want to head to Homeroom instead!" He smiles and looks down, rubbing the back of his head.

"Sure, I don't have anything else to do really." You smile. "I'll have to make a call to Mrs.Shipper though, just so she knows I'm here today."

He smiles, "Great!"

You spend the last few minutes in the music room with (C/N), listening to him singing his songs as you two share some laughs and smiles.
