A female.

A female who I incessantly ponder about. One who is like an addictive song that I just can't get out of my head.

That female is (Y/N).

"Hey!"

With widened eyes, I blinked a couple of times to make sure this is reality. I felt rather embarrassed since I was gazing at her from afar earlier. I mustered up the courage to reply with a simple, "Hello!"

For some reason, her friends laughed and that made me even more embarrassed. Did my voice crack or something? Is there a stain on my shirt? So many questions rose and I felt heat creeped up to my cheeks.

The female smiled, "What is your name?" I didn't think that question would make me even more embarrassed but, it did.

"(C-C/N)," I faltered as her friends laughed once more.

I averted my gaze to the ground. I really wanted to float into the air and in a blink of an eye, disappear.

To my surprise, (Y/N) placed a comforting hand on my shoulder and said, "I'm (Y/N)."

"(C/N), are you alright? The food is burning.."

I blink, her voice breaking me out of my reverie. The food is indeed burning. Fixating my attention back onto the food, I laugh lightly. "Uh, sorry.. would you still like to eat burnt (Your Favorite Food)?"

My girlfriend elbows me, sending me a cheeky smile. "No thank you. You're a horrible cook!"

I feign a gasp, "Hey! I'm trying, alright?" I'm not the optimal cook out there; this is my third time cooking.

"You're adorable," she flicks my nose playfully. Although she has done this numerous times already, I blush profusely nonetheless.

"(Y-Y/N)..?" my voice falters as our noses touch. She simpers and graze her alluring lips against mines; her delicate fingers trails up my arm.

WOOF!

I groan in vexation, narrowing my eyes at my beaming dog. "Really."

She wags her tail in response as (Y/N) crouches down, caressing her fur. "Woof, woof!"

I purse my lips, turning away from the two. "Hmph.. attention stealer."
