You glance up from your book, staring intently at a (C/H/C)-haired female who is in a section, browsing for a book. You have known her ever since elementary school, however you two never really talked. Well, back then you initiated the conversations but she never really said much which in turn ended the conversations. Over the years, you realized that (C/N) usually prefers to be alone; she tends to seclude herself from everybody.

The last time you talked to her was back in elementary school. Sighing, you lean back in your chair and hum in thought. I could try to talk to her but then again.. she won't say much and probably will get annoyed.

"May.. I sit here?" A quiet voice break your thoughts.

"Go ahead," you beam. Your crush sits down in front of you and opens the book, her eyes scanning the words. You look around the library and see many students studying, reading, and working on the computers. Lucky day for me. I'm glad this table is the only one that's free!

Your attention goes back to the female reading in front of you. Noticing the front cover, you let out an inaudible gasp. "You read the series too? I love that one!"

Her eyes widen a bit. "Yeah, I do. It's a really good series." After a minute or so, she asks, "Did you finish it..?"

"The series you mean? Yeah, I did. The one you're reading now is my favorite. It's so good that I reread it again." You laugh heartedly.

She gives you a barely noticeable smile, eyes shining. "I absolutely love how the plot is being developed! The characters are spectacular, even I'm starting to like the antagonist a bit." Putting her book face down, she continues to ramble on about her favorite characters with you adding a comment every once in a while.

"Sorry about that, I become a chatter box once I talk about the things I like." She sheepishly smiles, rubbing the back of her neck. "Knowing me, I'm probably going to finish this book by tonight or the next day. I tried to find the next one but it seems that someone already checked it out."

Smiling you say, "I actually have the whole series at home. If you want, I can let you borrow the book?"

(C/N) perks up, eyes twinkling. "Really? Thanks a lot!"

Mustering up the courage, you hesitantly mumble, "Though, I tend to forget easily so.. if you don't mind texting me a reminder to bring it tomorrow..?"

She thinks for a moment, tapping her chin. "Sure.. I don't mind." Taking out a pencil and a small piece of paper from her loaded backpack, she slides them to you. "I'll text you now if you want."

"Fine with me!" You try your best to not smile widely. You honestly didn't think she would accept since she hesitated for a bit. You quickly scribble down your phone number on the piece of paper and slide it back to her. "Oh, and here's your pencil. Sorry."

"It's alright!" She chuckles and taps on her phone, glancing from the paper to her phone. "Okay, I texted you."

Pulling out your phone from your pocket, you can't help but grin like an idiot.
